Theme: Ice Cream or Cocktails

I made an ice cream card not to long ago and I made a drinking card .. but thought  I would make another beverage card. I used some scraps. I stamped the Stampin up beverage and sentiment with Altenew ink. I went over the beverage with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I die cut the orange paper with Spellbinder die and used white ink and the bubbles that was in the stamp set and just stamped a bunch to give it some more interest. I added the sentiment and some diamond painting drills that I had left over.

It's time for a new challenge over at

Cardz 4 Galz #187 

Our theme is 

ANYTHING FROM THE 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS SONG

                                                         On the twelfth day of Christmas

My true love gave to me
Twelve drummers drumming,
Eleven pipers piping,
Ten lords a-leaping,
Nine ladies dancing,
Eight maids a-milking,
Seven swans a-swimming,
Six geese a-laying,
Five golden rings,
Four calling birds,
Three French hens,
Two turtle doves

                                                          And a partridge in a pear tree.  

For my card I painted the background using Altenew paints and bleed proof white and created the pond and snowy scene. I stamped the Tech. Tues. swan and colored with copics. I added the swan to the pond.. It's Swans a Swimming.. I know there should of been more but not enough room and it's the thought of swan a swimming. I added the Your next stamp sentiment.

For my card I went more for the July celebration vs. a June card.. I don't know what I was thinking.. lol

I used My favorite things image and used Altenew watercolors. I also added a little Paul Ruban metallics and finished with some left over AB diamond drills.

This image is Sun bonnet beach from Bugaboo store

This is the fun image. I colored her with copics and used my cloud template and Ranger ink. I cut her down and then added her to a piece of designer paper which gave me a sunny feel. I stamped the Simon Says BEACH please with Altenew ink.. I thought she needed some company so stamped the My favorite things crab and seagull and painted with Mission gold water colors. Cute beach scene. I hope to make it out to the beach this summer. Get my feet wet and just enjoy the sound of the waves and breath in the fresh air.. it's my happy place.

Our theme this challenge is 

F - FURRY FRIENDS

So my furry friends are dogs.. We have three... so they are dear to my heart when it comes to furry friends.. These cuties are from Sugar Pea designs.. I colored them with copics and the hearts are with Ranger ink. I went over the hearts and dog charm with clear Nuvo drops. I used Stampin up heart die and used Ranger ink to distress the edge. I found a stencil and used Ranger ink to give some design to the background then added the heart and finished with the sentient that was stamped with Altenew ink.

I made a card but used two different species so had to quickly re create my card... I decided to use fish.. So I stamped the Embossed Arts Co big fish and Hampton Stamps small fish on watercolor paper. I used Altenew watercolors. I finished with some Paul Ruben metallic paint to give a sun light rays in the water look.  I added some Nuvo drops for bubbles and the Tech. Tues. Sentiment.

This is my card. I've been going through my craft room and getting rid of more and more OLD craft items that either my taste has changed, crafts have changed, style has changed... you get what I am saying.. I got rid of so many old stamps (only clear ones) but came across this fun set which I kept. I stamped on some water color paper and using Mission and a DS dot card  I painted these cute butterflies. I went around the edge of the card with Altenew ink. I love the sentiment.

I am using the cute image called Gil rabbit growing sunflowers. I colored the image with copics. I used Ranger ink and my cloud template for the background. I added this image to a piece of black cardstock then to a scrap of Quick Quote dp. I added some Nuvo drops to the bottom right corner.. I guess I should of added a different color drops.. matches too close. I went over the flowers with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I finished with the Simon Says sentiment stamped with Altenew ink.

Hello.. Today over at Do-Al (l) Creative #47 

we have a new month challenge.

Our theme is another Twisted Sister challenge

GLITTER AND CHRISTMAS GREETING

For my card I used black water color paper. I heat embossed the Co-Motion large snowflake. Using Paul Ruben metallic watercolors I painted in the snowflake. I then heat embossed the Hero Arts sentiment with a glittery blue embossing powder. I wanted a gold border so heat embossed the edges of the card with gold Simon Says powder. I used My favorite things and Simon Says snowflakes and die cut out of white glitter paper. I ran through the zyron and added to the card. I ended up added the card to some more white glitter paper / same as used for the snowflakes. I stamped with Altenew ink the happy holidays from Paper Trey Ink and using a small Marvy punch cut the circle and added to the snowflake. I finished with some sequins and Nuvo drops.

I posted a card Wed. that was requested by a Realtor in our area and this is the second card she requested. She wanted this to be with Mountains.. Well I don't have any mountain stamps so I drew some and colored with copics. I then took and old red rubber stamp of trees and Stampin up ink and created the tree background. I wasn't happy with the lighter green trees but since it was a red rubber stamp I wasn't about to restamp and mess up since I already had the mountains .. I used my ground stencil and Ranger ink then using Clovis house die and scraps did the house. I used Lawn fawn and scraps to create the tree. The clouds are from Taylored Expressions die and more scraps. I went over the tops of the mountains with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I stamped the Tech. Tues. sentiment. I used the Simon Says thin die for the frame around the scene.

Hello.. I have a request to make some cards for a Realtor  in our little town.. She kinda gives me an idea and  to just go with it.. This card is for by the sea.. So this is what I created. I used Ranger ink and created the water then with Rubber baby buggy bumper water stamp and Altenew ink I went over the ink to give it the waves. I cut a hill and distressed it. I then used Simon Says house and tree dies and scraps. I added the Simon says seagulls. I used the thin die and added the blue frame. I stamped the Tech. Tues. sentiment with Stampin up ink and SS die. I added it with some foam dots.

This is Flamingo Sand.. I colored the image with copics. I used Quick quote chalk ink and Stampin up tiny dots and went over the sand. I used My favorite things circle die. I took My favorite things rays stencil and Ranger  ink to create the background. I used the Simon Says stamp and Altenew ink to stamp the sentiment and used MFT circle die.

This is my card.. I used three birds from Simon Says, 3 Stampin Up punched flowers, 3 in red 3 in rust color. The branch is from Altenew.. I used Ranger ink and my cloud and ground template. The sentiment is from My favorite things. I added bling to the flower centers. The birds were colored with Copics and then I went over the birds with Spectrum Noir brush.

Happy Farther's Day - Always Fun Challenge #135

Hello.. Today over at Always Fun Challenge #135

we have a new challenge..

Our theme for this is WATERCOLOR

Quite some time back.. probably a year ago I got this fun grape stamp from Tech. Tuesday in the monthly kit. I knew I wanted to try to water color this piece. I know it's way past Father's day .. and since my dad has passed it's not something I really care to make but I think with it being so past father's day it made it easier. I first stamped the set grapes and two separate grapes and using Altenew water colors painted them and then painted the blue around the grapes. I stamped the sentiment from Simon says and added the water color under these pieces. I then put the piece back in my misty and with water mark ink restamped and black heat embossed.  I die cut the Reverse confetti wine glass and with the water color painted it. I added Nuvo glimmer pen to the wine and then covered with glossy accents. Once it was dry I added this to my card.  I do love how it came out and some dad will be happy. I really love the Altenew paints and getting quite a dip into a lot of the colors.. Sure glad the pans in the set are big.

I have a bowl full of already stamped.. colored images (I stamp a bunch of images and grab my watercolors and sit on the deck and enjoy the country, quiet, and smells and paint a bunch of image).. So before I decided to make this card I dug through it. Knowing that I had a small area to work with I thought something would work out.. This is what I came up with. I used Pretty Pink Posh flowers and the leaves... I am not sure who they are by..(I am now putting initials on the back of the die cuts so I know for future uses) The bird is Hero arts and fussy cut out. All painted with Altenew paints. I used Quick quote scrap and My favorite things circle die for the card. I stamped and heat embossed the Reverse Confetti. I like how this came out..

Our theme this month is DAD / MASCULINE

I know when my dad was alive he loved my flower cards so that is what I went with. I used the Tech. Tuesday clover stamp.. it's pretty masculine looking I think. I used Altenew water color paints and painted the image and die cut it out. I cut down a script scrap of Quick Quote paper and added the flower. I then stamped the Sugar Pea designs happy birthday and used My favorite things banner die. I added this to the card and then die cut the SPD dad die 4 times an layered them and added this to the card.  My hubby said he loved it so I know some lucky man will enjoy it too.

I did not use sponsors image

 I got a few months back in my monthly kit from Simon Says an awesome flower set and I love painting flowers even though I am still trying to figure how to do them.. I gave it a try and using water color paper and Altenew paints I gave this flower a try.. I went over the flower with Nuvo glitter brush. I used Stampin up stitch square die and distressed the edges with Ranger ink. I then dug through my designer papers and found this Moda scraps paper. The vertical green is not from that set but scraps from my box of scraps (that keeps growing). I distressed the edges of them with Ranger ink. I added the sentiment also from the SS set and stamped with SU ink. I added to the sentiment a gold heart and the acrylic dots to the side and bottom.. following the sketch.
