We have a new challenge over at 

Cardz 4 Guyz #367

Theme: Men's clothing

So thought hard on what to use then remembered I had accessories from the crazy bird collection from Tim Holtz.. So dug through scraps and stamped and die cut out.. Then how do I display these pieces and then remembered I had this die so I cut it out and added to a black scrap. I laid out the pieces. I used foam tape for the sentiment and hats. Rest are flat to card base. I like the way it came out..

Theme: Anything goes / make me smile

I'm using Telescoping Terry.. I used my ground and sky templates and Ranger ink. I heat embossed the dog bones from My Favorite Things, I stamped the Stampscape birds.. I colored the images with copics. I added the tall grass from Stampin up with SU ink. The sentiment is from Mama Elephant and used the Spellbinder die.  The dog is dreaming about bones as Terry is looking for birds which are behind him... It made me smile..

I have always love this cute Reindeer from Holly Berry House.. That's an old company. I found this designer paper from Fresh Pink and so Stamped the deer and the Hero Arts branch with ornaments and colored all with copics. I added Nuvo drops to the ornaments.

Our theme is

Festive Creatures

I used a scrap of Pink Fresh studio for the background paper and a scrap from Quick Quote for floor. I stamped the Mama Elephant images and colored with copics. I used glossy accents on the ornaments and stars. The sentiment is from Simon says and I used Stampin Up die and went around the edge with a copic pen to give it a frame look.

Our theme is

For my card I chose this cool paper I had. I then used Impression obsession wreath die and then added the images. The Santas are from Mama Elephant and used Prima watercolors, the marvy punch snowflakes and die cut the holly leaves and used diamond drills for the berries and center of the snowflakes. I added the Merry Christmas to the center.

This is what I came up with. I used a tag die from Marianne using some DCWV paper. I stamped the Santa's from Mama Elephant and used Priam watercolors. The sentiment is in this set. I finished with some ribbon and twine.

Our theme this time is

INCLUDE A SLEIGH 

For my card I used my cloud and ground template and Ranger ink and added the dark sky and snow. I went over the snow with Spectrum Noir sparkle to give the snow a sparkle look. I used the Mama Elephant sleight/Santa and deer and Pretty Pink Posh people and presents. They were painted with Prima watercolors. I added the Paper Pretties sentiment.

It's time for a new challenge over at

The theme is

S - for SNOW

I used some navy card stock and used Oxide inks and inked the background to give some depths. I added the Simon says snowflakes and embossed. I added some Gouache splatters. I stamped and used Prima watercolors and painted the few little deer images. I added a strip of copper cording and added them to the cord and added a bow. I used the Sugar Pea sentiment using a Spellbinder die to cut it out.  My S  - snow is the snowflakes

Our theme this month is another twisted sister

ATC + LOVE

This is my ATC - an Artist Trading Card which measures 2.5X3.5

I used to make these ATC's all the time. My dear friend who has since passed away started an ATC club. We would make them and exchange within our club so everyone got one that was the same. So we'd have a theme and if there were 8 members we made 8 of same ATC.. it was awesome creating such a small piece of art.

For this one I stamped the Great impressions hearts with Stampin up ink. I then went over a few of the hearts with Versa mark brush and the others then all of them with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I used a little Quick quote chalk ink and distressed the edges. I backed onto the red designer paper then onto the 2.5x3.5 white card stock. I stamped the Mama Elephant image and using Mission gold watercolors. Then the die and added her with some foam dots.

H for HOLIDAYS

This card was so easy. The gnome strip is a piece of designer paper.. I don't know who it's from.. I used Kat Scrappiness die and cut it out. I then stamped the two Santa's from Mama Elephant and used Mission Gold watercolors. I stamped the Simon Says sentiment and added the Santa's on each side. I added some Diamond drills to the Santa and Gnome balls on the hats.

Our theme this month is to make a 

BOX CARD

Crafty ribbons

So I have never made one of these before so this was fun to watch U-tube and find one that Sandi MacIver had done that folds up to an A2 size. so it fits the standard !2 envelopes. 

I used some scraps of papers I had. Lil inker dies, Spellbinder dies, Pretty Pink Posh dies My Favorite Things dies, Stampin up punch (to create the candles cutting the banner in half) and Mama Elephant.  I used markers to give color to the balloons. I am looking forward to making the reminder box card for the 15th. This was fun.

For my card I used a Inkadinkado bamboo stamp and Stampin up ink to create the background. I then stamped the cute little Mama Elephant pandas. I added them to a strip of ribbon as I thought it kinda had that ground feel to it. I added some Simon says hearts and the Stampin up sentiment cut with a SU tag. I added the red gem.

It's Friday so it's Free Friday over at

I colored the image with copics. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink to create the sky. I stamped the Stampin Up sentiment with SU purple ink and used a SU punch to give the decorative ends. I stamped the Mama Elephant Happy mothers day with SU ink.

Our theme for these 2 weeks is DRAGON / DINOSAURS 

So this is the only image I have by Mama Elephant. It's the Chinese new year images.. It has this cute little dragon image. So I colored him with copics. I used some scraps and My favorite things dies. I used some Ranger ink to give a little color behind the circles. the Dino-Mite is from The pink stamper and the happy birthday is from Paper Trey Ink. I topped him off with a crown punched from Marvy. I added another crown to the sentiment area.  So how did I do ?? LOL

Our theme is ANYTHING GOES

This image is Faith - popcorn and juice  . I colored her with copics. I fussy cut her out. For the background I used Ranger inks and blended the background. I then used Newtons nook star stencil and went over it with the same colors just to darken up the stars. I used Taylored expressions film strip and Mama elephant tiny images and Simon Says tiny plants to the film strip. I colored with copics. I stamped the Tech. Tues. sentiment and heart with Stampin up ink. I added Faith with some foam dots and added Nuvo drops for popcorn coming out of the container and some in the container.

Our theme this week is 

FOR A GIRL

I hope you're all doing good and been able to get in some crafting time in and now with spring and being stuck at home getting gardening in for those with spring time weather. It's sure been a rough few months but being retired we are pretty much home a lot anyhow. I do like being able to get up and go out if I want but that as you know has been halted. I do miss my bible study and bible art / stamping with friends.. but better safe than sorry. Stay safe, Stay strong.

This is my card using the image called Butterfly friends..  I colored the image with copics. I then used My favorite things round corner rectangle die. I added this to an old piece of designer paper. Not even sure who it's from. I added the Mama elephant stamped sentiments and some epoxy hearts.

Hello..It's time for another challenge over at 

Always Fun Challenge #160

Our theme is EMBOSSING FOLDERS

This is my card. I used a fun embossing folder and bright orange card stock (I know on my computer it looks yellow) and I spritzed the card stock with water then ran through my Vagabon machine. I set it aside. I then stamped the Simon Says image and colored with copics. I went over the flowers with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I fussy cut the image out. I stamped the Simon says sentiment and the Mama elephant sentiment with Stampin up ink and cut out and added to the card. I love the fun brightness of this card and perfect for that special mother.
