It is only 9.40am and I've been busy with paper beads and shrink plastic. All to be revealed very soon. I still have a few places available for the day on August 19th. So if you live local to the Isle of Wight and fancy a fun day of Christmas making then get in touch on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk.

Today's crafty make is a project I made for my lovely Hostess Club ladies. I always like to make a little something to pop in the envelopes with the monthly orders so I am always on the lookout for new and interesting things I could make. I came across these fab little books of post in notes in Flying Tiger. I used the Beautiful You stamp set with paper pieced Designer Series Paper to create these cute little gifts.

Here is what each book contained. Lots of pages of different coloured and sized Post-Its.

If you'd like to join one of my Monthly Clubs I have spaces available. You get a handmade little extra each month as well as copies of catalogues and advance info on all upcoming specials from Stampin' Up! A Sneak Peek New Catalogue Floral Pop Up Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Monday Crafters.

How was your weekend? I'd like to say I was hugely crafty and productive. But that is not the case. It was more a snuggle under a duvet and cross stitch kind of weekend. I did, however, manage to make a very special card for a very special friend who is currently in hospital.  Have you seen this video? It keeps popping up on my timeline on Facebook. Such a simple but effective idea. I knew it would be perfect to take to my friend in hospital as actual flowers aren't allowed on the ward.

Here is the card I made:

I used a gorgeous new stamp set from the upcoming 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue called Happy Birthday Gorgeous to create the floral background and the sentiment is from Beautiful You.

You open the card and here are the flowers inside. I created these using 6" square pieces of DSP from my piles of retiring papers. They pop right up out of the card. It is super effective (and hard to capture in a static photo). My lovely friend was a joy to see today and I'm glad my card could bring her a little floral sunshine to her bedside table.

If you'd like your own copy of our upcoming catalogue please let me know and I'll pop one in the post to you. And please pop on over to my online store to see all the fabulous discounted product on the retiring list (only available until May 31st).

Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! and their products. I would be happy to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love the opportunity to demonstrate for you and your friends at a crafty party. As the hostess you earn exclusive free products and all guests get to create a fun crafty project to take home too. No crafting experience necessary! A Love Sparkles Watercoloured Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters and a very happy Monday to you.

How was your weekend? I hope it was as beautiful and sunny as it was here on the Isle of Wight. I had a lovely weekend catching up with an old travelling friend who was visiting the UK from Australia. I gave her a whistle stop tour around the island. My girls loved finding out more about Australia and asked a lot of questions about kangaroos.

Today's crafty pair of cards were inspired by a masked card I'd seen on Pinterest. I'd been having a play with different masking techniques and I loved the simplicity of layering these Love Sparkles hearts using a Post-It note mask to give the added dimension.

Once I stamped the top row of hearts in Memento Black I then masked and added the background hearts. Once stamped I then coloured with Watercolour Pencils and blended with my Blender Pens.

To give a little added sparkle I added a thin strip of Glimmer Paper either side of the hearts.

Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! and their products. I would be happy to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love the opportunity to demonstrate for you and your friends at a crafty party. Swan Lake Watercolouring from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Monday Crafty Friends.

How was your weekend? Did you get up to anything exciting? I had a play with some watercolouring and some new stamp sets I ordered from the Spring Summer catalogue. I enjoyed just creating and seeing where I ended up. We are on the last few days of Sale-A-Bration now so it is the perfect time to treat yourself to a few crafty essentials. I thoroughly recommend ordering a new stamp set and just seeing where the making takes you.

Here is one of the cards I created. I saw something similar on Pinterest and had a go myself. I started with a Whisper White card base that I scored to give the double layered frame top and bottom. I then positioned the images from Swan Lake within the lines and coloured with my Watercolour Pencils (blending over the top with a Blender Pen and highlighting the water with a little Clear Wink of Stella).

And this is the inside. I love the way the sentiment carries over to the inside. And those little cygnets are just too cute.

I enjoyed colouring and playing with texture and blending to create this card. And I love the simplicity of creating a card with just a simple Whisper White base and everything coming from simple stamping.

Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! and their products. I would be happy to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love an opportunity to Demo for you and your friends at a crafty party.  As the hostess you earns exclusive free products and all guests get to create a fun crafty project to take home too! A Wedding Wishes Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning lovely crafters. How goes your week so far?

My sister was a bridesmaid at the weekend for a school friend and asked me to make a wedding card for the happy couple.

I knew the colour scheme for the bridesmaids was a dark purple so I created this card using Elegant Eggplant highlights with Very Vanilla for the main base and top layer.

I used my Floral Affection and Fluttering Embossing Folders to emboss pieces of Very Vanilla cardstock which I then used to punch two Sweetheart shapes. I layered the hearts over my wrapped Linen Thread.

For my final details I added a Linen Thread bow to my floral heart. I then stamped the 'Wedding Wishes' from the Rose Wonder stamp set and added a few tiny pearls for added sparkle.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up!, or any of our products. I would love to help. A Flowering Fields Sale A Bration Birthday from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Friday crafters.

What does your weekend have in store? We are off to London for a weekend of adventure, good food and maybe a trip to the Kikki K shop in Covent Garden. I am super excited.

But in the mean time, I have a Saleabration Flowering Fields make to share with you today. I absolutely love this flower set and all its possibilities.  I combined the big flower stamp with the Happy Birthday from Cottage Greetings and Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper.

I love the clean and simple neatness of this card. It isn't overcomplicated or too fussy but still has the essential bit of sparkle I like to add to all my cards. I stamped the flowers in Rose Red and Old Olive and then added a little glimmer over the top with my Wink of Stella Clear Brush. It lightly lifted the colour of the Rose Red outline to give a pink sheen to my flower heads.

Saleabration is proving super popular this year. Flowering Fields has been one of the favourite stamp sets amongst my customers so far. All you have to do to get your hands on this stamp set for free is place an order of £45+ anytime before March 31st.

Thank you for popping by today. Pop back on Monday for more craftiness. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up!, Sale-A-Bration or any of our new products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love to Demo for you and your friends at a crafty party. As the hostess you earn lots of lovely freebies and you all get to make a fun crafty project too (no crafting experience necessary!).

A Sprinkles of Life Cloud Pop Up Spiral Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Friday. What a grey day it is here on the Isle of Wight. We have a weather warning due to heavy rain which may put pay to our lunchtime trip to watch the Red Arrows (Summer absolutely loves all things Red Arrow since we watched them perform at Cowes Week last year from Mum and Dad's garden). So what better way to celebrate a grey day than with an 'Every Cloud has a Silver Lining....' card using the Ronald McDonald House Charity Sprinkles of Life stamp set.

This card was inspired by a project made by a very talented French demonstrator Katia. Such a clever fancy card. You have to open it for the surprise.

It has a clever spiral pop up made from a circle punched with the 2 1/2" Circle Punch. You cut the circle in to a spiral and attach the spiral inside your card with two glue dots (one on the centre of the spiral and one on the alternative outer side of the spiral). If you close the spiral and close your card base you ensure your pop up with sit flat when the card is closed.

Once your spiral is secure you can attach your decorations. I have used clouds stamped in Encore Silver ink and punched with the Tree Builder Punch. But this style of card could be customised for any event or occasion by using pop up flowers, butterflies or any stamped image you fancy.

I punched Dazzling Diamonds Bitty Butterflies and glued them to the clouds for an extra bit of sparkle and texture.

For the front of the card I used Cherry on Top Washi Tape to create a flash of blue for the sky and added Metallic Sequins to represent rain.

Thank you for popping by today. I hope you have a lovely weekend ahead whatever your rainy day plans. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love to Demo for you and your friends at a crafty party. As the hostess you earn lots of lovely freebies and you all get to make a fun crafty project too (no crafting experience necessary!)

Here is a fun curvy keepsake box inspired by a creation I saw over on an Australian blog hop. It combines the gorgeous Sprinkles of Life stamp set with the Tree Builder Punch and Curvy Keepsake Thinlit Dies.

It is such a summery little box. It would be perfect for a teacher gift or little summer party favour. You could create a tag to attach to the handle to personalise it for any occasion.
