Good morning crafters.

How is your month going? Have you been getting lots of lovely crafting done? I am busy getting projects ready for my big Christmas Crafting Day next month. It is only 9.40am and I've been busy with paper beads and shrink plastic. All to be revealed very soon. I still have a few places available for the day on August 19th. So if you live local to the Isle of Wight and fancy a fun day of Christmas making then get in touch on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk.

Today's crafty make is a project I made for my lovely Hostess Club ladies. I always like to make a little something to pop in the envelopes with the monthly orders so I am always on the lookout for new and interesting things I could make. I came across these fab little books of post in notes in Flying Tiger. I used the Beautiful You stamp set with paper pieced Designer Series Paper to create these cute little gifts.

Here is what each book contained. Lots of pages of different coloured and sized Post-Its.

If you'd like to join one of my Monthly Clubs I have spaces available. You get a handmade little extra each month as well as copies of catalogues and advance info on all upcoming specials from Stampin' Up! Hello December Album from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

So this weekend I suddenly realised that December starts this week! Which can only mean one thing- my December album! For those that have followed my blog for a while you'll know I have completed an album every December for the past 6 years. Last years is still half finished as I over complicated things and ran out of steam. So this year I am keeping things very simply - pictures and Hello December cards. That is it!

Well after realising how quickly December was upon me I spent some time yesterday designing and completing my album cover (the first time I have ever completed it in advance!).

For this cover I wanted a magical floaty feel to the stamping. So once I'd positioned all the elements from the Hello December Accessory Pack (including the gorgeous foiled 2016 acetate element) I added my Christmas Magic snowman in Crumb Cake Ink and then added snowflakes, stars and hearts flying above him. To give a little sparkly I added Clear Wink of Stella over all the stamped elements.

And to give you an idea of just how simple my project is going to be this year, here are all my supplies - Hello December Cards and Accessory Pack. I have a small shopping bag which contains a tombow glue, sticky tape, glue dots and a couple of festive stamp sets to go with this. But this is it! I will not spend 3 hours a day on one page this year. I want simply and lovely pages celebrating the season.

And best of all, if you want to join in and purchase your Hello December supplies, they are currently 30% off until the end of today as part of the Online Extravaganza! But all Online Extravaganza prices are only available until tonight. So get your order in quick. And if you use the hostess code for this month I will be able to send you an extra special gift next month to say thank you: 26JB7T6H.

Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! and their products. I would be happy to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love an opportunity to Demo for you and your friends at a crafty party.  As the hostess you earns exclusive free products and all guests get to create a fun crafty project to take home too! Get in touch if you'd like any further information.

A Cookie Cutter Christmas Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters and a very happy Friday to you all. What are your crafty plans for the weekend? I have some swaps to make for a Pinkies team get together next weekend. I also have gifts to make for my lovely monthly hostess club ladies.

Are you enjoying the Autumn Winter catalogue so far? I've been getting so many positive messages about the new products. But by far the favourite bundle so far has been the Cookie Cutter stamp set and matching punch. Everyone has fallen for this lovely set.

I am a bit of a sucker for all things gingerbread anyways so this set was always a must have for me. Today's make in inspired by a fellow Pinkie, Karen Spreckley, who shared this card on our team Facebook page. I just fell in love with the colour combo and the little Inuit is just too cute not to feature.

This colour combo is Crumb Cake, Whisper White and Real Red. I used a strip of Candy Cane Lane DSP and then coloured my Inuit with Blender Pens and ink pads. I added a little Blushing Bride for the face and rosy cheeks.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love to Demo for you and your friends at a crafty party. As the hostess you earn lots of lovely freebies and you all get to make a fun crafty project too (no crafting experience necessary!).

A Stampin' Colouring Book Gift from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Monday Crafters.

What a weekend it has been.  I hosted the first of my annual Christmas Craft Days on Saturday. What a fantabulous day we all had. My ladies created some lovely projects and I gave them a little sneak peek of my Autumn Winter goodies. I am definitely now in Christmas crafting mode and think I might make a start on my Christmas card stash imminently.

I have a different little project to share with you today. This was the gift for my Hostess Club ladies with their July orders. If you'd like to find out more about my virtual clubs you can click the tab above. But in essence I run a monthly club where each member places a monthly order (£15 minimum) and one month you receive the hostess freebies and each month with your order is a handmade gift from me (as well as a gift for joining too). You also receive a copy of each catalogue launched during your time in the club. I welcome new members at any time for a duration of 10 months. You are more than welcome to join from anywhere in the UK. You don't have to be local to the Isle of Wight. I post lovely crafty packages all over the UK on a monthly basis.

With the current trend for adult colouring books and mindfulness I thought I would have a go at creating my own Stampin' Up! mini book for my lovely club members which I packaged with a little pack of colouring pencils.

Creating my colouring ages allowed me to go through my stamp shelves and pick out all the sets with black and white outlines. I inked up some images I haven't used in ages. It was fun to just go through and just stamp without worrying about lining up and stamping in exact positions.

I think these little colouring sets would make lovely little gifts or could be adapted in to a colour your own birthday or Christmas card set.

As the hostess you earn lots of lovely freebies and you all get to make a fun crafty project too (no crafting experience necessary!)

A Pop of Pink Club Gift Notebook from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning lovelies and a very Happy Monday to you all.

How has your weekend been? I have started a new Stitch Along project with Lakeside Needlecraft and we received the first chart for the project border on Friday. I lost many hours this weekend to stitching and all the loveliness of this exclusive fantasy SAL.  I am starting another one on Wednesday to follow on from my 6 month Owl SAL so I am going to be super busy stitching wise.

My craft project share for the day are these little notebooks I have made for my lovely Hostess Club members. These little personalised notebooks will be slipped in with my ladies June orders.

I found the little black notebooks in Tiger on a recent trip across the water to Whiteley Village and I liberated the pencils (which I have covered in washi tape) from a well known furniture store (I got every member of my family to use a pencil during our trip! I couldn't resist as they were a perfect size to accompany my little books).

I love these Pop of Pink Designer Series Papers which I partnered with the Pop of Pink Washi Tapes. I added the sweetheart punch cut out and a personalised name on each stamped with the Labeller Alphabet stamp set. To finish I added sparkly sequins.

I love these Pop of Pink papers. They are great for any occasion and some of the designs are lovely and subtle while others are bright and bold.

Just to finish my creative share for today I have my finished Owl Stitch Along project to share. I posted a few of my owls along the way. Here are all twelve together. I used my Grandma's tin of threads she gave me a while back. I loved the happy and bright colours. I am doing a new project kicking off on Wednesday which is along the same lines but with frogs instead of the owls.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up!, or any of our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love to Demo for you and your friends at a crafty party. A Delightful Dijon Sheltering Tree Panel Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy May 11th. Just a normal day for most but a celebration of the day I become a Mum for me. My little Miss is 4 today. Where did those 4 years go? Weird that Summer has been with Sam and I half the time we've known each other. And what a crazy 4 year ride it has been. We have had a lovely day filled with cake and fun and family. It is now well over an hour past bedtime and both girls are still awake. A sure sign of a good birthday!

Today's crafty make is a Delightful Dijon inspired panel card I created for my In Color Stampers Showcase at Telford. I began with my larger Whisper White layer where I stamped my base Sheltering Tree in Early Espresso. I then guesstimated where to stamp the tree again on my smaller long Whisper White panel (which I cut slightly smaller in height than the tree branches as I wanted them to show over the top). I could have been more technical and properly lined my stamping up with the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig but I was having an imprecise day I think. And it didn't work out too badly.

I then added layers of Delighful Dijon inking to give texture and definition to the leaves over the top of my stamped tree trunk. I simply stamped multiple times without reinking the image. I layered the Whisper White piece over Delightful Dijon cardstock and positioned on to my main Whisper White layer.

I then added the final stamped details around the bottom of the tree- fallen leaves, grass, rake and sentiment.

A bits and bobs box for my Hostess Club from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

I was indulging in one of my favourite pastimes over the  weekend- stationery shopping, when I came across these tiny little Really Useful Boxes. What crafter doesn't love a little crafty storage for embellishments and all those little 'bits and bobs'? Which gave me the inspiration for this months Hostess Club gift.

I bought a selection of coloured boxes and knew that the brightly coloured Project Life cards and accessory packs would be perfect for creating these little toppers.

I chose a selection of colourful patterned Project Life cards and cut them to 2"x1.5" to fit the flat lid area. I then used my Alphabet Rotary Stamp to create the 'Bits and Bobs' which I then punched and attached with Dimensionals.

I used the various Project Life Accessory Packs I have accumulated to create the little banners and embellishments and finished with Brights Candy Dots.

This is such a perfect way to create a little storage for your craft desk as well as use up all those bits of embellishments in your Project Life stash.

I filled each little box with various crafty embellishments I had in my craft room. Mostly retired Stampin' Up! embellishments. But I did sneak a few jewels and pretties from my stash too. I love making these little packages for my Hostess Club ladies. And I know I would love to receive a little package of sparkly goodies like this. So I hope they all like their gift for the month.

If you'd like to find out more about my monthly Hostess Club or maybe even join and receive your own handmade gift each month, you can find out more by clicking on the Virtual Clubs tab above or drop me a line on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk.

A Circle of Spring Stamped Mini Muslin Bag from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters. What a gloomy start to a Friday here on the Isle of Wight. I'm hoping it'll brighten up for a walk later. But in the meantime I am enjoying a peaceful morning snuggle with the girls watching Wall E (and simultaneously blogging too).

I have a project to share with you today that I made with my lovely Hostess Club ladies at our get together this month. For anyone belonging to one of my virtual clubs we get together every other month for a coffee and a crafty project. And for those that join from afar the project is mailed out with your order as a thank you for being a part of the monthly club. You can find out more by clicking the Virtual Clubs tab above.

This months project was a little different. We used the Mini Muslin Bags and stamped the beautiful Circle of Spring wreath.  We stamped the wreath using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. We then coloured with the Subtles Collection of Stampin' Write markers.

I used Pool Party, Blushing Bride, So Saffron and Wild Wasabi to colour my wreath. We then created a little tag using the Triple Banner Punch.  The greeting is from the Work of Art stamp set. We pegged the banner to the bag with a Mini Metallic Clothespin.

This is such a simple little gift bag and really fun to stamp and colour. This would be perfect for an end of term teacher gift or little gift packaging idea for jewellery or sweeties. I think the Mini Muslin Bags are a great addition to any crafters stash as they can be personalised for any occasion or event.

As the hostess you earn lots of lovely freebies and you all get to make a fun crafty project too (no crafting experience necessary!)

A Farmers Market Recipe Book from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning stampers. How is your crafty week going?

Have you seen these gorgeous Farmers Market Designer Series Paper? I just love these big bold kitchen garden style prints. I have had to buy an extra set just to keep and look at as I love them so much.

As soon as I saw these prints I knew they would be perfect for covering journals to make recipe books for my lovely Monthly Hostess Club ladies. We often share recipes and tips over cardmaking classes so I thought these little books would be perfect for keeping a note of shared recipes.

I used each of the designs to cover a set of 10 journal books. I then used the Awesomely Artistic stamp set to stamp the tag and the Simply Serif Alphabet to stamp the 'Recipes'.

I created a matching patterned pen by wrapping Bohemian Designer Washi Tape around a fab gel writing pen.

To finish I mounted the label on Dimensionals and then twirled Linen Thread to give a more rustic-y feel to the cover.

As it is Wednesday don't forget to check out the new Weekly Deals by clicking below.
