Paper Pretties Wednesday Challenge - Valentine's Day/Love!

Good morning and welcome to Wednesday with Paper Pretties! Each Wednesday we have Weekly Challenge that you are going to love! Today kicks off a new challenge this week and we have a color challenge this time, "Valentine's Day/Love"!

I had so much fun looking though my Paper Pretties stamps and deciding which image to work with for this week's challenge. I picked the fabulous clear stamp set, Holiday Sweets I! I have loved this set since i saw it come out, but I am finally getting the chance to ink it up! I used this lovely paper from Basic Gray called True Love and I pulled the different colors out of it. I think this card really turned out nicely, plus I used this fun ribbon and darling eyelet punch for a bit more detail.

I have loved this set since i saw it come out, but I am finally getting the chance to ink it up! I used this fabulous cloud embossing folder from Stampin Up! that I think really accents this image perfectly.

Paper Pretties Wednesday Challenge - Monochromatic!

Good morning and welcome to Wednesday with Paper Pretties! Each Wednesday we have Weekly Challenge that you are going to love! Today kicks off a new challenge this week and we have a color challenge this time, "Monochromatic"!

I had so much fun looking though my Paper Pretties stamps and deciding which image to work with for this week's challenge. I picked the fabulous clear stamp set, Holiday Cheer 1! I love how sweet this image is and I just didn't want to overwhelm it with too much detailing and embellishments so I added some self adhesive rhinestones and this lovely ribbon from my stash. I  used several shades of pink to really make this image pop off the page and I think I succeed. It's very 'pink' wouldn't you say.

I had so much fun looking though my Paper Pretties stamps and deciding which image to work with for this week's challenge. I picked the fabulous digital image, Along for the Ride! I love how sweet this image is and I just didn't want to overwhelm it with too much detailing and embellishments so I added some self adhesive rhinestones and this lovely satin ribbon from my stash, and of course buttons! I used the pink and green in fun styles to finish off this fun card.

Now not every dad enjoys golf, but I know any dad would love this card!

I picked the stamp set, Follow Your Rainbow this stamp set is perfect for such fun and beautiful cards! I used this fabulous colored paper and this fun embossing folder and added not only a sentiment from the stamp set but also this darling butterfly image that is included in the stamp set! I really love how this card turned out.

I picked the new release image, Honors, it's just too darn cute! I used this great graduation themed designer paper from Doodlebug, the whole line is white, black, and silver and it is just perfect for any school colors. Just add a color and it all works for every graduation!

I had a bit of a hard time finding my colored pencils, it has been a long time since I used these fabulous tools. I had a lot of fun with this image, he is just too darn cute and fun to work with!

I picked the stamp set Sweet 16 Lily, I simply love the Lily images, and trust me they are so much fun to work with. I used this fun designer paper from Doodlebug, these colors just pop off the page! I pulled out the green and orange tones and added boxes using some of the additional stamps in the stamp set.

I had so much fun looking though my Paper Pretties stamps and deciding which image to work with for this week's challenge. This week we are also releasing a fun new image called Buttons that ARTish illustrated, isn't he super cute! 

I picked the stamp set Return of Cluck, I don't know what is is, but I just love our cute little chick stamp sets. We have two and whenever I can I grab for them, these birds just make me smile. I pulled lots of blues and browns into this card, not sure why but I thought they worked well with the yellow focus of the image. I used lots of layers and lots of buttons with the image centered at the top of the card.

I picked the stamp set Everyday Sentiments, it's great and not only has amazing sentiments but also some fun designs too. I used three of the included designs to create my background paper and stamped the images in different colors. I also added these crocheted flowers from my stash that is quickly dwindling.

For today's challenge I decided to ink up the stamp set Smile Monkey, isn't he just fabulous! I paired him with this great textured embossing folder called Wood Grain. I also added some brown ink to the paper so that you can really see the background pop.
