June SFYTT!

Anyone else itching for a new Sketch for you to try??? Jen has a super fun sketch for us this month, and I know you're going to love it every bit as much as I do!

This month, we're being sponsored by Emily at Stamping Bella! How fun is that? I have a TON of Bella's that just love it when I let them out of their bag, lol! Today, I decided to play with "Rain-Never-Stopped-Me-Bella!

Isn't she fabulous? I colored her to match these papers from MME (Lime Twist collection) and then cut her out with a circle nestability. I cut the umbrella top out and mounted it seperately! I had SO much fun with this sketch, everything just went together so easily. That's how you know when you've got a good sketch;) I didn't even use ribbon! OMG! When is the last time I didn't use ribbon or twine? Or buttons for that matter? LOL!
The sentiment on this card comes with this Bella!
Thanks so much Emily for sponsoring us this month!

1. The SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY {SFYTT} will be posted on the first Saturday of each month on www.iheart2stamp.com at 8am EST and will stay open to participants until the last day of the month, unless otherwise noted.
2. This is for fun! Interpret the sketch as you wish and embellish as desired. There are no vendor restrictions, but we would love to see you use the sponsor’s stamps!
3. Each month we will have a Designer of the Month that will be chosen from past month’s participants.
4. Come and play with us on each and every sketch! On Christmas Day 2011 a prize package worth over $200 will be given away to one very lucky and loyal SFYTT stamper that participates in EVERY sketch for the year.
5. To be eligible for the prize package, you must complete ALL of the sketches by each of the deadlines AND link your creation to the link system on that month’s sketch post (the first Saturday of the month). Everyone except for SFYTT Sisters are eligible for the prize package, including Designer of the Month and international players.
6. When posting your sketch creation on your blog, please post the sketch and link back to the sketch post on www.iheart2stamp.com. When posting to online galleries, please use the keyword “SFYTT.”

Check out what the rest of my SFYTT Sistah's have created! And also, welcome our June guest, the *amazing* Joanne Basile!!!

It takes a LOOOOOONG time to grow young!

Haha, I love this sentiment that came with my SneakSNEAKYBella! I need a birthday card for a sweet friend of mine, and she happens to like Stamping Bella (wink!) so I thought it was the perfect time to ink up one of my new Bellas! I kind of struggled for a layout using her, and then remembered this month's SFYTT! This month's sketch is SO fun and cards just fly together using it!
Here's my card!
I used Pixi-licious paper by Cosmo Cricket and broke out a FLOWER! I have like four big Iris cart drawers FULL of flowers and never use them! Well that's gonna change, they're too pretty to just take up valuable storage space *snort!*
If you want to play along with our monthly SFYTT sketch challenge or want more details, see THIS POST! Our sponsor this month is the fabulous company The Cat's Pajamas but their stamps are NOT required to play along or be in the running for the grand prize!
________________________________________
You know what else I did today? I started a major overhaul on my stampin' room! I tell you it just got TOO crowded and cluttered so it's time to move stuff around, throw stuff out, and find some stuff for blog candy perhaps?;)
I started on my ribbon. It took about three hours, EEEK!!! I unrolled all my PTI ribbon and hung them by color families on hangars which are now hanging in the closet right by my work table! Here are a few GLORIOUS pictures that I can't stop staring at!!

Is it just me? Or do those ribbons and beautiful rainbow colors make you want to go STAMP SOMETHING????
Like I said, I'm just getting started and plan to spend all day in there tomorrow so I'll post pics of my room when I'm done! I plan on doing a few blog posts on what kind of storage ideas I use for dies, stamps, ribbon, buttons, etc...stay tuned!

Thanks for PERKING me up!

I have been making OODLES of cards this week! Billy and I are heading back to the states for a few weeks on Saturday and I had to get ahead on some DT commitments, fun stuff! Whilest in my card making frenzy, I happened upon this image, already stamped out, that hadn't been colored yet! Joy! I just love Clementine the Teapot Girl by Stamping Bella, isn't she adorable?
I wanted the teapot blue so I found some matching papers by October Afternoon!
I'm always afraid I'm coloring too much and then I see pictures and I'm like "DANGIT!" lol! I could have colored her teapot alot darker! Oh well, I still love how she turned out:) The sentiment is from a really adorable set by Our Craft Lounge called "Fueled by Caffeine"
I started on this card and wanted to use Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch but it actually turned out NOTHING like the sketch, lol! I'm not going to submit this to her challenge but wanted to shout out anyways since I *did* use it to some extent:)

**On the subject of "Perking Up" I'd like to say THANK YOU to Michelle Woerner and Teresa Kline! Ya know why? They PERKED ME UP by giving me an extra pass to CHA in January! OMG it's true! I get to go to CHA!!! Thanks so much girls for hookin' me up, I can't wait to meet all my stamping friends, face to face! Are YOU going to CHA? Let me know if you are, I'd love to meet you!**

Okay, that's it from me today! Off to watch Dancing with the Stars! I still don't know who to root for, they all kind of annoy me this year, but if I had to pick right now, it'd be Jennifer Gray. She started out as my favorite by a long shot but lately she's been so whiney and irritating! Still, she's the best talent I think. Her and Brandy but I prefer Baby...I mean Jennifer Gray:)

SFYTT-Love you Rain or Shine!

Before I start I want to apologize for the CRAPPY picture! I just don't know why this card wouldn't come out right! I had another card that I took pics of and the color came out beautifully (that card is at the end of this post)! Go figure. And I don't know enough about PSE to get the colors corrected. Guess I better study up on that!

This week's SFYTT is so fun, as are all of them! But seriously, awesome sketch, right?;)

And here's my card using a sweet Anya from Rain, Snow or Shine from The Greeting Farm!
I colored her in with Copics, taking the colors right from the fabulous paper from Thrift Shop by October Afternoon! I bought two packs of this paper, one to use, and one to hoard, lol! The sentiment is from Scattered Showers by PTI and I also added a few Primas and buttons!

Now go see what the rest of the SFYTT sistah's came up with for this sketch!
Did you know that VSN is happening this weekend over at SCS? I had completely forgot! So I was checking out the challenges so far and really wanted to play with the Blue, Gray, White challenge! I headed up to my stamp room and pulled out my Stamping Bella stamps and grabbed the sweet
Altee-tude! I love her, isn't she a beauty?

The cardstock base is Smokey Shadow by PTI. Okay, seriously, I'm loving this new punch by Martha Stewart! OMG her edge punches have come a LONG way, and they actually carry a few of them at our BX!

Check out those puffy white clouds, they're cut out with felt using my new PTI cloud dies! These dies are so perfect and I'm so happy I have them now! They're going to get a WORKOUT! LOL!

If you're interested in playing in VSN this weekend, here's the link ---->click!

Thanks for stopping by today:) Have a wonderful weekend!

Do you LOVE IT? I do, I can't wait to make another card with this sketch! Here's my sample with Chloe the Coffee Mug girl by Stamping Bella!

The dp I used is from the Kioshi line by Basic Gray and I used Summer Sunrise cardstock by PTI! I colored Chloe in with Copics, here's a list of the Copics I used:

Hair

Skin

Mug

Heart

Check out with the rest of my sisters have created for you today!

Hoppy Easter!

Just thought I'd pop on and wish everyone a very Happy Easter! It's wonderful to have a day of reflection to remember just what Easter is all about. To me, it isn't about bunnies, or egg hunts, or anything material like that. It's the day my Savior rose from the dead, three days after he was crucified, so that I could live. God bless you all, have a very Happy EASTER!!!

Hoppy Easter card recipe:
Stamps: Bunnyhopabella (Stamping Bella), Chocolate Bunnies (Verve)
Paper: Black, Sweet Blush (PTI), dp (SU!)
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Momento), Copics
Accessories: Apron Lace punch (Fiskars), Nestabilities; Ribbon (AC); Button (PTI); Dew Drops (Robin's Nest)

**Love me do BLOG HOP!**

**If you're looking for my Unity Stampin' Store kit post, scroll down below this post!**

If you're joining me from Spike's blog, you're on the right track! See THIS THREAD on SCS for the line-up, just in case there are breaks in the chain, so you'll know where to go next:)
Today, a bunch of Bellarific sweeties are bringing you some fun Stamping Bella projects! The theme for today's hop is LoVE, SWEET lOve!
As soon as I saw these ADORABLE birdies, I HAD to have this stamp! How fricken' cute are those sweet birds? This stamp is called "Romantic Cage", so sweet:)
This is a 4.25x4.25" card. The card base is white and then I have a piece of Sweet Blush cardstock layered on top. That gorgeous dp is from Basic Gray from the Porcelien paper pack! It has bird cages on it and they actually match pretty well!
I colored the birds and the cage with my Copics. That big ole' beautiful ribbon is from Faith's store, Mark's Finest Papers. This ribbon ties like a DREAM! I normally don't like wide ribbon because the knots are too big and it's hard to fit stuff on the card close to the ribbon. Not a problem with this stuff! Also, to girly it up even MORE, I added some white pearls by Melissa Frances and a Prima Hydrangea flower with a button center!
How is this for a sweet card? Probably a little too girly for DH, so I'll just sit it on a shelf and stare at it, ha!
Well thank you SO much for hopping by my little blog! I love visitors:D Your next stop on the hop is the sweet and talented EM! Go on and show her some Bellarific LOVE!
Have a wonderful Valentine's Day!!

I got this cute stamp "The Choir" a few weeks ago and just Love it! I think the little animals are some of the cutest I've seen in stamp form! Really fun to color too *which I did with Prismacolors and Gamsol*. Unfortunately, I didn't have any Christmas sentiments by bella so I used one from Verve! The three blue colored cardstocks are by Prism and the white is PTI White. I forget who makes the white ribbon, May Arts maybe? The layout is this weeks sketch by

CPS!

As an added bonus for going through all the blogs today, there are THREE $100 gift certificates hidden on one of the blogs! Nobody knows who has them, so the only way for you to have a chance at one is to leave a comment on every blog! CHICHIBOULIE BLOG HOP!

Welcome to the Stamping Bella Chichi hop! We're all here to celebrate the fun little Chichiboulie stamps and hop around to see what other sistah's have been creating! If you didn't start from the beginning, start at Emily's blog and hop through the complete line up!
I have always loved Maisy Sunshine the most out of my chichi's, I know, how can I have a favorite! She's just so cute!
I colored Maisy and the flower with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I *attempted* Paulabella's grass tutorial, EPIC FAIL, lol! It's nowhere near as good as hers, I'll have to keep practicing! I also love how the Bella Babe's shade around their images, again, FAIL but I'll keep working at it:)
The card base is Dark Chocolate and the paper is from the Autumn Abundance pack, all by PTI. The sentiment stamps are Verve, from Worlds Greatest.

Well, in addition to some fun eye candy along the way, there is some BLOG CANDY hidden! Even we the bloggers don't know who has it so make sure you comment on all the lovely blogs:) The winner will get $25 gift code for the Stamping Bella store! The winner will be announced in the Bella forums on Splitcoast!

Hope you like what you're seeing so far, head on over to SARA'S BLOG to continue the hop!
Enjoy your weekend!

WCMD! Not too shabby!

Doncha love it that there is a "holiday" all our own? I told my hubby that today is world card making day and that he had to make a card and well, it didn't go well! LOL! He just sighs and says "Honey, how about you make a card FOR me!" Okay, if you insist:D
I made this first card a couple days ago. I colored this sweet Ketto (Sake) in hopes of getting to use her for the Bellarific Sketch but it turned out that the challenge was a "Fall" card, no sketch at all so she doesn't really work for fall! Oh well, I went with it and made this card with this weeks 2S4U sketch!
The card base is Lavendar Moon by PTI and the dp is from the Basic Gray "Wisteria" collection!

My next card is for this weeks Viva la Verve sketch with a {twist} challenge! Here's the sketch:
The {twist} this week is to go shabby! I love the look and everyonce in a while I can pull it off, but more often I fall short, lol! My card that I made for this challenge turned out pretty cute I think.
The card base is Rustic Cream by PTI (a GREAT shabby color!) and I can't remember who makes the dp, it was a scrap I had laying in a basket for like a year, lol! The stamp set is called "Cupcake Affair" by Verve Stamps! I wanted my card to have soft colors, sewing, sponged edges, and a fun shabby stamp set:) The ribbon was just a perfect addition, so glad I found this is my never-ending basket of balled up ribbon, lol! I colored the stamp with Copics and included the colors for your reference...
Well, hope your WCMD goes by beautifully:) I hope to get to all the fun challenges on Splitcoast tomorrow! See ya then:)

Digiments release week!

Hey there friends! Digiments is have another great release on Saturday! 30 Digiments in total will be released - priced at $1 each ($1!!!!!!!!) with a $5 minimum purchase, or $15 for the entire new release (thats 50 cents each! Yes, my mathmatical skills amaze even me...)!!
What are digiments you ask? A digiment is a digital sentiment that you just print onto cardstock (resize, change color, whatever you want! Check out THIS post for tutorials!) and then create a card as you normally would! Michelle is just great with combining fun fonts to create amazing little "digiments". The sneak peeks have started on the Digiments Blog so head on over to see what she's got! Here's my card using one of the Favorites digiments and BFFabuggs by Stamping Bella!
Isn't that a fun mix of fonts? I adore it and the sentiment, ahem, DIGIment goes so well with many of my friend stamps!
I colored the bffabugs with prismacolor pencils and gamsol. The cardstock is Spring Moss, Sweet Blush, and white by PTI. The dp is digi paper and I think I got it from Sweet Shoppe Designs but can't remember, I'll update this post when I figure it out, lol!

Thanks for stopping by, make sure to check out the Digiments Blog for more peeks and inspiration from the rest of the DT!

Fun stuff!

Hiya peeps! Long time no blog, I know! SO busy at work this week, good thing it's almost Thursday for me! I have a couple cards to share with you today. The first one is for this weeks Featured Stamper challenge on Splitcoast. Holy cow, Sandra (B-Gin-R on SCS) has one SERIOUSLY fabulous gallery, I had the hardest time choosing a card to CASE so I just said "Okay, 5th page, 3rd card on the 2nd row, that's the card I'm gonna CASE" LOL! You know it's bad when it comes to that, ha!

I "decided" to CASE THIS beautiful card, here's my version (not nearly as pretty but it'll do!)
The stamped image is by Rachelle Anne Miller, it's called "Giving Shelter" and I think it's just about the cutest thing EVAH! The sentiment is from PTI from a set called Mixed Messages (the original, not mega!) I stamped it on a little tag I cut out with my cuttlebug! The image is colored with Copics! Get your Copics HERE!!! Eclectic Paperie also has all the new Pale colors in! While other online stores are already sold out, EPaperie still has some and they're a super good price! Get them while you can, these puppies are going like hot cakes! I can't wait to get mine:)
I used Razzleberry Lemonade dp (by SU!), Melon Mambo cs (SU!) and Sweet Blush cardstock and ribbon (PTI).
Next card is one I made for the Stamping Bella challenge last week, to make a SUMMER card! No problem there, I pulled out my sweet Poppy Bittybloom and went to town!
I colored her in with red Copics and then painted some Shimmerz on the actual flower for a little, well, shimmer!:)
The paper is by Cosmo Cricket, it's the Everafter collection, LOVE. THIS. STUFF. I could use it on every card I make!
The sentiment is by Unity from a set called "Beach Days and Sun Rays".

Well, that's all I have for today, it's getting to be my bed time:)
Have a great hump day! See ya tomorrow for some HIP HOP FUN!!!!!!!

Another Viva la Verve {twisted} sketch challenge

Every Friday I draw up a sketch and come up with a fun twist for the Viva la Verve sketch challenge for Verve Stamps!
This week, I think I really stumped the girls. It's a technique {twist} and what I thought might be a couple fun techniques to try turned out to be a couple tough ones? Either way, sorry about that, lol! I was trying to be nice, ha!
I chose to showcase the Poppin' Pastels and Burned Batik techniques. These are a couple really fun techniques and I created a card using both! Click on the technique names above to be taken to the SCS Tutorial for the techniques.
Here are my cards!
This one is for the Poppin' Pastels technique. The leaves are stamped in Versamark and then I went over them with my SU! Pastels:
The leaves are from Forever in Our Hearts and the verse is from 1 Peter 5:7. Such a beautiful verse, I've always loved it:)
The next card is quite brigh IRL and quite fun:) I used the Burned Batik technique. This was really fun and I'm sure to use it again!
I stamped the background from Artful Elegance in Versamark, embossed it with clear ink, sprayed with water and then sponged Rich Razzleberry and Melon Mambo on it! The stamps are from Miracles Blossom.
If you want to try one of these techniques and the sketch, I encourage you to try out this weeks Viva la Verve challenge:)

On another note, I went to my dear dear friend Christy's house today! We had fun stampin, listening to her iPod, and chattin the morning away! I would have stayed for HOURS longer but I'm in prison today (on call) and had to be home at noon. Darn it! It's all good though, we're gonna go see The Proposal tomorrow, I'm excited:)
While she stole my Cuttlebug and Nestabilities for a couple hours, I made this card!
It's Yoko & Ono by Stamping Bella! Aren't they CuuuuuuuUUUUUuute??? SUPAH!
The paper is by PTI, it's called Green Leaves. I also used some borrowed-from-Christy-but-not-really-cause-she-can't-use-em-anymore-flat back bon-bons by Stamping Bella! Those babies are fun and I'm gonna buy some for ME!
One last card, just cause I'm in a good mood and had TONS of stamping time today since I was in prison {aka on-call}...
It's Flamenca Ketto! Ain't she adorable? I colored her with Copics and used BSC78 for the sketch layout:) The sentiment is from Filigree Fantasy by Verve, I kinda curled it under, it looks cool IRL but you can't really tell from the picture!
Well, that's it for me today, I'll be back with more tomorrow:) Thanks for coming by, have a great Saturday!

It's a KETTO BLOG HOP!

Have you seen these sweet stamps from Stamping Bella? They are relatively new and OH SO PRECIOUS! Check out all the sweet Kettos HERE!
If you just happened upon my blog by accident and you're interested in seeing all the Ketto goodness in blog land today, start at BLOGABELLA and roll through the blogs!
There will be a PRIZE involved! None of us know who yet, but one of the blogs along the hop will be asked to choose a random commentor and that random commentor will win a $40 Gift Card to the Stamping Bella store! OH the fun you will have if you win that prize, SO many fun goodies in that store:)
Here's my lil Ketto card!
I used Tatiana Ketto because she's my favey:) I think her HAIR rocks and she's so funky and cool! The paper I used is Marrakech by Basic Gray. I love the funky colors in this piece and I thought it would be fun to color Tatiana to match:)
I was over at Christy's (Christy S. on SCS) a couple weeks ago and made this card. She made me stop adding stuff to this card otherwise it might be even crazier than it is, lol! Thanks for looking out for me sistah:D

Well, there are LOTS more fun blogs to see so I'm going to send you on your way! Your next stop is the lovely HOPE SPENCER! Enjoy the Ketto Hop ladies, have a great day!
