Claudia and Company Brings You Christmas

Hello friends and happy Thursday. I have a card for you today using a digi image from Claudia and Company. I'm using Presley Lollipop, designed by Lori Boyd, and I made a Christmas card with her. I paired her with some Cosmo Cricket Mitten Winter paper. I used yesterday's sketch SC301 from Splitcoaststampers. I think Presley looks adorable on a Christmas card. What do you think?

And here's the sketch from Splitcoaststampers

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have a wonderful day. Take care my friends.

Welcome and happy Monday my friends. It’s time to show you our final stamp set that we are previewing today for the Little Paper Shop and to have a Blog Hop. If you arrived here from the awesome Silvia's blog then you are in the right place. If not, then please start back at the LPS blog so you won’t miss anyone along the Hop.

We are incorporating our preview into today’s Monday Challenge, LPSC85. The challenge today is a Halloween Color Challenge of Orange, Purple and Green. Our prize this week is the cute Jena Fairy digi. Just add your card to the InLinkz program on the LPS blog for your chance to win.

The stamp image we are previewing today is called HALLOWEEN CUTIES and yes they are adorable. One random person will win a $15 gift certificate to the LPS store. How do you win? All you have to do is comment on all the DT member’s blogs on the Hop.

My card uses the sketch from last Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers SC297. Here is the color challenge graphic and my card using one of the cute images from this set. It has 3 cuties in it along with some sentiments.

BRIGHT Little Paper Shop Challenge

Hello and welcome to Little Paper Shop Monday. Did everyone have a wonderful Holiday season and are you looking forward to a new year? I know I am. My life is so blessed. I have a wonderful family and lots of wonderful friends.

Our Little Paper Shop challenge today, LPSC49, is a color challenge issued by me. Our challenge is to use Bright Pink, Black and White on your card or project. Of course you know if I'm issuing a color challenge it has to have at least one bright color on it. LOL. I do use colors that are not bright but I am not as happy with what I make when I do. Here is a pic of the color challenge........

I used a FREE DIGI IMAGE that the Little Paper Shop has for January called Lily Swan. Make sure you head on over to the LPS forum to get your copy of the digi now before it's gone. BTW, if you have never been to the LPS forum head on over there and check it out. There are discussions, samples, and all kinds of fun info for you there. This card also uses the SplitcoastStampers Sketch Challenge SC261 from this past week. Now, here is my card.......

And here is a pic of the Copics I used..........

I just know that you want to play so that you have a chance to win the I Heart set this week. It is one adorable set and Julia is so sweet to give  a free stamp set out every week. Thanks Julia!! Make sure and leave a link to your card in the comments on the LPS blog and when upload to a public forum use the keyword LPSC49.

Thanks for stopping by today and I'll see you right back here tomorrow with two posts. One for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge and one for Jacksonbelle Embellishments Blog Hop. I'll talk to you then.

Beautiful Things

Hello and happy Friday. This card is for this week's Sketch Challenge SCS247 and Color Challenge CC237 at SCS. I used my new set from the Little Paper Shop called Beautiful Things. Isn't that a pretty sentiment on the front of the card? I wasn't too crazy about this week's colors for the color challenge (Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Currey, and Basic Black) until I got them on the card. Doesn't that always seem to happen? They are really bold and look quite good together.

Thanks for stopping by today. I'll see you tomorrow with another card. I'll talk to you soon.

I'm Sorry

Hello and happy Wednesday again. I made this card for today's sketch from SCS - SC245 and yesterday's color challenge from SCS - CC235. I used Lovely as a Tree from SU to make this a fall card that also conveys a message to let someone know that you are "sorry for that thing you said". Great sentiment. I could use it everyday of my like I think. LOL

Thanks for stopping by. I'll talk to you soon.

This card is my submission for last week's SCS Sketch Challenge SC234. I used Fifth Avenue Florals from SU. It has my most favorite flowers of any stamp set. These flowers are so much fun to color.

We will be getting ready for a BBQ at our house today. No one does better smoked ribs than my Chuck. I can almost taste them right now. LOL.

This is my submission for today's SplitcoastStampers Sketch Challenge SC232. I used one of my favorite stamp sets from SU, Crazy for Cupcakes. I can't wait to see what new sets SU has in store for us but more than that I can't wait to see their new designer paper. No one's designer paper, or cardstock, compares to Stampin Up!'s. Am I right, girls??

Thanks for coming by to visit today. I was supposed to have a wonderful day of stamping with Mercy today but she decided to play sickly on me. Girl, you better get you hiney well, we got some stamping to do. LOL!! Come back tomorrow for another creation. I'll talk to you soon.

SC224 & KCI49 - Just Say Hi

This is my submissions for two challenges, SCS's Sketch Challenge - SC224 and Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration Challenge - KCI49. It's too late to put my card in the Mr. Linky on Kristina's blog but I still wanted to do the color challenge. I'm not sure that I accomplished what I set out to do with these colors though but I'm not starting over. Let me know what you think please.

I started out with a Pacific Point card base and used designer paper from the Raspberry Tart pack. The stamps are from Hero Arts. I stamped them with Black Brilliance Ink, embossed them with Clear Embossing Powder and colored with Copic Markers. The sentiment was also stamped with Black Brilliance Ink and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. The ends of the sentiment panel have Clear Kaiser Rhinestones. The butterfly and the frog's crown have both been cut out and popped with Deimensionals. The main image panel has been cut with Rectangle Nestabilities. The frog's eyes also have small Clear Kaiser Rhinestones on them. It is finished off with some Pacific Point Grosgrain Ribbon.

That's it for today. Thanks for coming by to see me. I will be going on a stamping retreat this Friday morning (and staying until Sunday)with Mercy Kerin, my Mother-in-Law Barb, and another good friend Ashley. Woohoo girls, two more days!!!

Talk to you soon.

SC223 - Urban Floral

This is for today's SCS Sketch Challenge SC223. I used the SU sets Fifth Avenue Floral and Elegant Thank You. The designer paper is Urban Oasis and the coordinating colors are Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze and Basic Gray. I started with a Whisper White card base. I stamped the flower on Kiwi for the main image mat in Black Brilliance. It was stamped again on White, colored with Copic Markers, embossed with Clear Embossing Powder and cut out and popped with Dimensionals. The sentiment was stamped with Black Brilliance Ink and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. It's finished off with Kaiser Rhinestones.

That's all for today. Thanks for coming by to check me out. Make sure and tune in tomorrow for another sketch from Stamps and Smiles. Have a great week and talk to you soon.

SC218 - Easter Card for My Mama

OK, I just received this set yesterday from The Greeting Farm. It's called Shepherd Boy. Isn't he just the cutest thing you have ever seen?? He reminds me of my precious angel Garrett.

This card is for today's Splitcoast Stampers Sketch Challenge SC218. I used the designer paper Windsor Knot because these colors reminded me of Easter. The sentiment on the inside of the card reads "Lord, my life belongs to thee. Give me faith to stand for thee." Mom, I know you are reading. This card is for you. Love you!! The card base is Sage Shadow and the mats are Chocolate Chip. I used the Bigz Top Note Big Shot die for the piece behind the main panel. The focal image is mounted with Dimensionals on top of a piece cut with the Long Rectangle Nestabilities. The sentiment is stamped in Chocolate Chip and cut out with the small and medium Oval Punches. I attached a Mini Library Clip with some Non-SU Sage Grosgrain Ribbon. The Shepherd Boy and his sheep are colored with Copic Markers.

Thanks for coming by to check me out today. I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday.

SC217 - What Do You Think?

This is for yesterday's Sketch Challenge SC217 at Splitcoast Stampers. Believe it or not you probably can't tell I used three different stamp sets on this card. The small squares have a stamp from the set A Beautiful Thing, the flower is from the Embrace Life set, and the sentiment is from the set Thoughts and Prayers, all by SU.

Thanks for checking me out today. Have a great week.

SC216 & CC206 - Pretty Skater

Hello everybody. This is for Tuesday's SCS Color Challenge CC206 and Wednesday's SCS Sketch Challenge SC216. I pulled out my "Gliding By" Sophia from Paper Pretties to use for this card. Isn't she precious?

I started out with a 5x5 More Mustard card base. Sophia has been colored with Copics except for her dress. It was paper pieced with a piece from the Raspberry Tart designer paper pack. She was cut out and glued on a mat cut from the Rectangle Nestabilities. The lacy border is from a Martha Stewart Border Punch. The two round pieces were cut with Circle Nestabilities. The Rose Red designer paper is some SU retired paper. I added dots from a White Gel Pen on the Kiwi Kiss scalloped piece. The sentiment was stamped with Black Brilliance ink and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. I added three designer brads and used Circle Fire Brads in the centers. It's finished off with Kiwi Kiss Grosgrain Ribbon.

Thanks for coming by to check me out today. Please come back tomorrow morning at 11:00 Eastern time. I have a surprise. Can't wait to tell you!! Have a great day.

SC215 - Sympathy

My MIL needed a sympathy card so I pulled up this wonderful sketch, SCS Sketch Challenge SCS215, again to make the card. This is a great sketch.

I started out with this weeks SCS Color Challenge of Kiwi Kiss, Pink Pirouette, and Perfect Plum but ended up changing the Plum to Chocolate Chip. I'm not sure why I did that because the Plum would have looked just as good but once I got the Chocolate on there I wasn't going back to change it, KWIM?? The matted Pink Pirouette piece has been pierced with SU's Mat Pack and a Paper Piercer. The main image was sponged with Kiwi Kiss at the bottom and Pink Pirouette at the top then the stamp was stamped with Chocolate Chip Ink. The Pink Designer Paper is from the Bella Rose Designer Pack and the Kiwi Designer Paper is from the Kiwi Kiss Designer Pack, both from SU. The Sentiment is from a set I got at Archiver's and it's got about 75 words in it and is made by Impression Obsession, Inc.

Thanks for coming by to check me out on this beautiful Friday. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

SC215 - Doodle Wings

This is for SCS Sketch Challenge SC215. It was hard to get a good picture this morning because it's overcast here in beautiful Georgia and I think when I photoshopped the card I got it too bright. Oh well, I'll get a better picture and change it when we get some sunshine.

This was such a fun sketch to play with. I love lots of layers. I started out with an Old Olive card base and matted it with So Saffron and Regal Rose. The Rose piece has been embossed with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug Embossing Folder. The dragonfly is an image from the Doodle Wings set by Stampendous that I got at Archiver's a couple of months ago. I stamped the image with Black Brilliance ink and embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder. It was then colored with Copic Markers and embossed with Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder to add some sparkle (not sure if it shows in the picture but it's very sparkly). I then cut it out and matted it on top of another stamped image with dimensionals. The main image has been matted with Rectangle Nestabilities. It's finished off with Silver Brads and Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon.

It has felt almost like Spring here in Georgia this week. Temperatures in the 70's. It has been wonderful. I hate to see it turn cold again.

Thanks for coming by on this Wednesday to check me out. I hope the rest of your week is wonderful.

SC189 & SFYTT

This first card is for my Dad's birthday which is today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!! I used a previous sketch from SCS - SC189 to be able to fit this big image on my card the way I wanted it. This is the set from SU called Season of Friendship from the recently expired Holiday Mini Catalog. The sentiment was printed from my computer and them punched out. Please go to Beate's blog for a great tutorial on how I made the pieces the sentiment are on. She shows you how to make the SU 1-3/4" and 1-3/8" circle punches look so much better by not having as big of a border between them. That always bugged me anyway.

This next card is for Jen del Muro's SFYTT from last Saturday. I needed to get this one posted before she comes out with her new sketch tomorrow. I stamped the four smaller animals from the new SU set Animal Crackers and cut them out and mounted them on circle punches. The sentiment is from the retired hostess set from SU called So Many Sayings. They look like they could all be friends, don't they? See how they are all looking at each other.

Sorry my post has to be short today. It's almost time to go pick my son up from school. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

SC213 & CC203 Timeless Love

This card is for yesterday's SCS Color Challenge CC203 and today's SCS Sketch Challenge SC213. I wasn't too sure about these colors that Jessie picked out but as soon as I got them on the card I knew it was a winning combo. Great job Jessie.

I started out with a Garden Green card base. The background mat is white matted with Pacific Point and it has been pierced with SU's Mat Pack and Paper Piercer. The stamp set is a retired set from My Favorite Things called Boho Blossoms. The heart was stamped with Pacific Point and cut out and adhered to the focal panel with dimensionals. The focal panel is cut out with Rectangle Nestabilities. The designer paper is from the Baja Breeze Designer Paper Pack. I stamped a small flower from the stamp set with White Craft Ink on some Garden Green Paper and embossed it with White Embossing Powder. I then punched them out to use with the three Build-a-Brads in the bottom right of the card. The sentiment was stamped with Brilliance Black ink and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. It is finished off with Pacific Point Grosgrain Ribbon.

Thanks for coming by to check me out. Hope you are having a wonderful week.
