We are going to visit them in Joburg soon, and I wanted to make them something special to take with. Kayla always makes us something when she visits us, so I thought I would surprise her this time around.

New SOME ODD GIRL digi....Puppy Gwen

Hi friends, just a quick post to share a card I created with the newly released "Pirate Tobie" digital image from SOME ODD GIRL.

Digi Tuesday at Some Odd Girl

Some Odd Girl Digi Release Tuesday

Wowzers, Tuesday does roll around quickly!!!! That mean's there are 2 new Some Odd Girl Digi's being released. This is just a quick post to share one of them with you, Santa's Helper Tobie!! Tobie is so cute painting this little truck!

 

 

 

I decided to go with a tag for my DT project, and I LOVE the way it turned out! Isn't this guy SO cute with his little tongue out while he concentrates!

New digi releases from Some Odd Girl!

It's Tuesday and that means it's digi day at Some Odd Girl. I am so excited to be posting this, these new images are ADORABLE. I know they will appeal to a lot of you crafty ladies out there!!!

First up is - PHONE CALL MAE, isn't she too adorable chatting up a  storm with her BFF!! This image is perfect to use on a card for a friend who is far away! She really is perfect to let someone know you would LOVE to chat to them!

 

 

 

 

I tried to make this card super girly!! Mae is such a purdy girl isn't she!?!

Next up is - JOGGER MAE! Mae has decided she has spent too much time talking on the phone, and she needs to get active!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this image. I am a jogger myself (or at least I try to be:), so this new image totally "speaks" to me and my fitness conscious self!!

 

 

 

For this card I tried to go with more a sporty athletic vibe! The circle behind Mae's head reminds me of the sun rising, Mae likes to exercise early :) Both the sentiments I used were printed out on the computer.

Challenge #14 at Crafting for All Seasons

Hello all, hope you are having a great week so far. Ours has been super busy, but good!!

So the latest challenge is up at Crafting for all Seasons, and this challenge is THANKSGIVING!! As the DT we were given the option of creating a Thanksgiving card, or a "thank-you" card, because we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in South Africa I chose to do the "thank-you" card instead!

Halloween or colors (purple, lime green, orange, and black)

Hi all. Hope you are having a great week so far!! I am back with the latest Crafting for All Seasons challenge. As my blog post title would indicate, the challenge is : Halloween or colors (purple, lime green, orange, and black)

This was a bit of a difficult one for me, because we don't really do Halloween here in South Africa, but luckily I had been given some Halloween paper, so at least had some goodies to work with, and the cute image I got to play with made the job even easier.

Here it is!!



I kept my card quite simple, and just let the paper and cute digi speak for themselves!!

The sponsors for this challenge are PINK CAT STUDIO (I got my image from them), and JUST SOME LINES.

Someone Special Challenge at the Stamping Boutique

Wow, it has been a week of note!! I have been trying to help my sister to relocate to Dundee, so have been busy dropping off her c.v., finding accomodation for her, and a school for her 2 daughters. It was also Bryce's 10th birthday on Tuesday, parent's evening last night and his party after school today. Busy, busy, busy!!

So as a result I am a bit late in getting this card up. The challenge went live on Wednesday! The challenge is : we all have special people in our lives that we just don't tell often enough just how special they are so this is your opportunity....make a crafty project, scrap page, or card in honor of them!
