You can find all the DT cards for this month and the rules to participate in the challenge NUMBERS at the NEW Challenge/event Blog called "The Lost Coast Portal to Creativity".

For my card today, I used as the main image the "fortuneteller" image, for the background I used the "pencil" stamp and enhance in each section where the Numbers are with gold

File Folder Card for Dad with Petaloo

Hello My friends:

I made this file card for the upcoming father's day using The gorgeous Petaloo Flowers.

file folder card for dad with petaloo front

The file dies are from "My Favorite Things" and I love the idea to make a small file folder containing inside a gift card for Dad!

I decorated the front  with this fun die Sweater from "MFT" and the inside with a bicycle die  from Memory Box.

Here it is a shot of the supplies that I  used  from "Petaloo" and "Quick Quotes" papers

petaloo and quick quotes supplies

Various Petaloo Flowers.... some handmade in cream paper ready to be altered if you wish so, and some in kraft paper with black dots...the black flower is in velvet with tulle! lost of texture!. I added some burlap and twine cord to finish the look.

The  patterned papers are from "quick quotes".

Remember to make the slants for the gift card (stamping up punch) before gluing this creme panel to the darker one

and when placing the bicycle die do not glue all the way the bicycle in order to insert the gift card properly...
see left side, the bicycle is ONLY glued with a glue dot on the wheel

Hope this card can be one of your favorites for father's day

Happy Father's Day...with Hero Arts stamps...

Hello my dear crafty friends:

 Happy Father's Day!!!

This day,  as mother's day,  is celebrated in different countries at different times of the year...but here in the USA, it is celebrated today!, every 3rd Sunday of the month of June...and it is as well celebrated today in Mexico, Colombia and France, the countries where I have lived...so it makes it easier for me to remember :)

This card I had offered it at one of my classes at my local craft store and the theme was cards for "Men"...
The main stamp "vintage car"  is a "Hero Arts",  paired for the background with The "classic fabric design" cling stamp and some "Spellbinders" dies

I used some washers from the stash of my husband's garage.
The background was made with aluminum foil from the kitchen, that I wrap in a piece of cardstock and we ran it through the "Cuttlebug" with an embossing folder.... back then I did not have the  metal sheets from "Rangers", but both work well...so use whatever you have in hand...

The border was made with a EK success punch...and bend to have some dimension...

Ok my friend's enjoy your fathers today
and remember happily the ones that they are not with us anymore...

Keep in touch...and happy father's day to the fathers out there!!!

Father's day card

Hello My Friends:
A quick card for the upcoming Father's day ... that I featured at my Spanish blog: "A crear se dijo!" for Memory Box

I used "the hammer and saw" die from Memory Box which is one of the NEW dies from the 2014 summer release...

Use some burlap for texture and die cut several borders to make the background...
The hammer and saw were die cut in silver paper and added some "kraft" paper for the handles...

All this NEW release is on the stores so grab your favorite ones!!! They all are so cute to work with...
until next time, my friends!!!
