This adorable Stamp Oasis Little Lovin's image called Shy Girl was so much fun to color and I used the DCWV Glitter Sweet Stack dp with the sweet little fruit to go with the tiny strawberries on her pinafore. She was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black, colored with copics, layered with Green Galore and Regal Rose cardstock, cut out with Nestabilities, and attached with dimensionals. The sentiment, also from Rubbernecker, was stamped with Memento Black and Pretty in Pink was sponged around the edges. Ribbon from Flourishes, Prima, button, and tiny pearls finish it off.

The strawberries show up better in the closeup!!

Isn't this silly moose just adorable!!! He looks like I feel sometimes with Christmas Tree lights!!! We solved that problem this year by buying a new tree with the lights already on the tree...yeaaaa!!!

The Rubbernecker Moose image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with copics. Dazzling Diamonds was added to the hat, sewing was done on the background layers, and I doodled around the Rubbernecker sentiment to kinda mimic the tangle of lights. The layers were cutout with Nesties and attached with dimensionals. Piercing was done along the right edge of the green layer and Rubby Red brads were added to some of the holes.
I can't believe that Christmas is almost here!!! It really snuck up on me this year....I really hate to put away all my Christmas stamps and papers!!! I still have some new stamps that I haven't inked up yet....I guess they will have to wait till next year!! I will have a Christmas card for you Wednesday and Christmas Day and then on to Spring sets.
Thanks for coming to take a look and don't forget to go visit the Rubbernecker blog to see what the other Design Team members have for you today!!

Actually, if the truth be known, with all my stuff strung all over the house, my DH is finding lots of inspiration to get the craft room finished!!! The card I made for today features the adorable Rubbernecker stamp called Snowman with a Broom. He was stamped with Memento Black, colored with copics, glammed up with Dazzling Diamonds, cut out, and attached with dimensionals. The snow on the ground and the snow on his hat were covered with Pearl White Lumiere, dusted with Dazzling Diamonds, and Dew Drops were added as buttons. The sentiment was stamped with Memento Black and them Rubbernecker snowflakes were stamped over the sentiment and the background paper with Baja Breeze (the sentiment comes with the words side by side. I needed it to fit on the oval layer so I stamped the Happy first, cleaned the stamp and then inked up the Holidays and stamped it under the Happy.....looks like I have two different stamps!!) Chocolate ribbon, a fabric snowflake, brown button laced with silver cording, and a punched snowflake finish it off.

I used the faux embossing technique on my card today. You can see the tutorial for this technique on the Rubbernecker Blog. Fired Brick Ranger Distress Ink was sponged on the white cardstock and then it was stamped using the How Do I Love Thee stamp misted with water and dried with the heat tool. Since the Distress inks are water based, stamping with water will lift the color and leave a white impression when dry. The Poinsettia was stamped three times with the Fried Brick, once on the background and twice on a piece of white cardstock and embossed with clear ep. The poinsettias on the white cs were colored with Fried Brick using the ink pad and an aqua pen, both poinsettias and the background were misted with Perfect Pearls mixed with water. When dry, the poinsettias were then cut out and layered on top of the one stamped on the background, attached with dimensionals, and pearls were added to the centers. The sentiment was stamped with Black Soot and the ribbon and pearls finish it off.
Recipe: Stamps: Rubbernecker
Paper: Handsom Hunter, Whisper White, Black, The Paper Studio dp
Ink: Ranger Distress Inks Fried Brick and Black Soot
Accessories: Pearls, Ribbon, Dimensionals, Clear ep, Perfect Pearls

My card today represents one of my favorite Thanksgiving desserts...Cherry Pie!!! Can't ya just taste it warm with vanilla ice cream melting all over the top....yummmmm!!!
The Rubbernecker Cherry Pie image was stamped with Brilliance Black, Ranger Distress Ink Scattered Straw and Peeled Paint were sponged on, and the cherry, hearts, and red border were colored with a Real Red marker.
The image was then cutout and used as a pattern to cutout the under layer from Riding Hood Red cardstock, the black layers were run through the cuttlebug using the dotted swiss folder, and the pie image was then attached with dimensionals. The sentiment, from the Rubbernecker Petite Word Set, was stamped with Brilliance Black onto white cardstock and sponged with Scattered Straw. The layers were cut out with Nestabilities and attached with dimensionals.
The cherry paper from Graphic 45's Times Nouveau Collection made the perfect background and the punched flourishes and Dew Drops complete the design.
Recipe: Stamps: Rubbernecker Cherry Pie and Petite Sentiments
Paper: White, Black, Riding Hood Red, Graphic 45 dp
Ink: Brilliance Black, Ranger Distress Ink Scattered Straw and Peeled Paint
Accessories: Ribbon, Dew Drops, Cuttlebug, Nestabilities, Punched Flourishes, Dimensionals

I decided to make a Summer card today simply because it's 34 degrees out this morning...yikes!!! The image was stamped with Versamark and embossed with gold ep. It was then colored with ink pads and an aqua painter, cutout with Nesties, and mounted on the Kiwi Kiss and Cool Caribbean. The designer paper came from my scrap drawer...I can't remember who made it but thought it went perfect with the stamp!! The sentiment, also from Rubbernecker, was stamped with Glorious Green and cutout with Nesties. Kiwi Kiss ribbon and Primas finish it off. Thanks for visiting and I will have another post later this morning!! Remember to check back tomorrow for the next Blogger Challenge!
