Color Throwdown Challenge #371

Hello everyone!!! It's Wednesday again and time for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge!! Wanda picked such festive colors that I just had to make a festive card!! Can you believe that 2016 is just around the corner...I just got used to saying 2015...LOL!!!

My card features several New Years dies from Taylored Expressions...the Raise Your Glass die was used to create the shakers. They were cut out of Metallic Neutrals cardstock (gold and silver) and the TE Sequins - Wedding were used for the inside of the shaker. The Oreo cardstock background was cutout with the largest Stitched Rectangle Stacklet and the Little Bits - Celebration Confetti dies were used to cut all the fun confetti shapes out of Metallic Neutrals cardstock

To finish it off, the sentiment was created with the Happy New Year die...it was cut out of Sugar Cube cardstock and then the words were seperated and glued to the background.

Remember, be sure to add CTD371 to the keywords section when you upload your cards to an online gallery so we can find your creations!! Also, please use #371 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites.

Color Throwdown Challenge #370

Hello everyone!! Hope all is well with you!!! We had our first almost frost of the season...32 degrees for a few hours the other morning. That's enough winter for me...I'm ready for spring...LOL!! We did a little Christmas shopping this week and entertained 3 of our Grands yesterday. We will have around 18 for Thanksgiving tomorrow so I will be busy today getting the house ready and making lists...I can't function without a list!!! You should see me when I can't find my list...it's not pretty!!! Anyway...

It's Wednesday and time for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge!! Vickie is our hostess and I love the color combo she picked...perfect for snowmen!!!

My card features the super cute snowman stamp from Alesa Baker...it was stamped on watercolor paper with black archival ink and embossed with clear ep. It was then watercolored with bashful blue, chocolate chip, and pumpkin pie reinkers. The chocolate chip scalloped frame was cut with the Scallop Frames die and finished off with orange sequins both from Pretty Pink Posh

Color Throwdown Challenge #368

Hello everyone!! First I want to thank all our Veterans for their service...we are free today because of their sacrifice!!! My dad, husband, son-in-law, brother-in-law, niece, two uncles, a great uncle who fought in Europe during WWI, four first cousins, and several second cousins all served in the Navy, Army, and Air Force and I am extreemly proud of each of them!!!

Today's Color Throwdown Challenge hostess in Lori and she picked a beautiful color combo for your stamping pleasure!! When I first saw the colors I thought Christmas but as I started playing with papers and dies my project took on a life of it's own...it ended up as a love note for my hubs!!

My card features the Taylored Expressions Scribble Flowers dies. They were used to cut the flowers out of Cherry Pop and Strawberry Milkshake cardstock....they were then popped up with foam tape.  The background patterned paper background was cut with the largest Stitched Rectangle Stacklet die and the Bloomers Greenery dies were used to cut the leaves out of Sweet Basil cardstock. One of the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets dies was used to cut the sentiment layer out of Poppy Seed cardstock and...

to finish it off, the Pockets & Pages February Script dies were used to cut the sentiment out of Strawberry Milkshake cardstock.

Remember, be sure to add CTD368 to the keywords section when you upload your cards to an online gallery so we can find your creations!! Also, please use #368 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites.

Hello everyone and welcome to this week's Color Throwdown Challenge!! This week Vickie has picked some beautiful fall colors for us to play with: Red, Orange, Green, and Brown....so get out those fall stamps and dies and come join us!!

My card features the Taylored Expressions Leafy Branch die...it was cut out of Kiwi Kiss cardstock and adhered to the pretty fall papers from Carta Bella called A Perfect Autumn. The sentiment is from the TE C'mon Get Happy set....it was stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa on Sugar Cube cardstock.

The little Candy Corn cardstock scallops were cut with the Skinny Mini Borders 2 die. The large flower was cut out of Candy Corn cardstock with the large Bloomers 3 flower die  and the inside was cut out of the background patterned paper with one of the Mini Bloomers dies. The Medium Scallop Border die was used for the scallop at the bottom and the enamel dots and twine finish it off.

Color Throwdown Challenge #327

Hello everyone!! Hope you had a good week!!! We had a few cold, rainy days but it was in the 80's here yesterday!! It's time for me to get outside and clean out a few flower beds and plant a some pansies....maybe I better take down my Christmas tree first. I'm just a little late with that project but I can see a light at the end of the tunnel!!! Anyway....

It's Wednesday and time for this weeks Color Throwdown Challenge!!  Wanda is our hostess and she has picked such a rich color pallette...purple, turquoise, lime green, and yellow. I can't wait to see what you do with these colors!!

I pulled out my new Reverse Confetti stamp set and dies for today's card.  The sentiment is from the In a Big Way set and the flowers were cut with the
Petals 'n Posies Confetti Cuts. The scallop was cut with the Double Edge Scallop Border and the enamel dots finish it off.

Remember, you don't have to use the exact colors.....use what you have as long as they are close to the challenge colors and be sure to add CTD327 to the keywords section when you upload your cards to an online gallery so we can find your creations!!

You will find all the challenge details on the Color Throwdown Blog.
