Monica

I'm doing quite well with my card making this year - think I'm averaging at about two cards a week, which is down from my all time best, but up from last year again! (In case you wanted the statistics!!!)

This card however was made a while ago, and came to the surface when a neighbour wanted a card - I then realised it had not been blogged to here it is now!

The image is a gorgeous Hannah Lynn - although she is looking a bit pasty faced - think that's partly down to the flash but also my limited colouring skills.  Hopefully that will be resolved this year if I can find time to do a Kit and Clowder class - or two! (They are on my to-do list!)

Challenges;
Allsorts - Birthday Wishes
I Love Promarkers -Punch (Leaves) - Flower -Pearl
Passion for Promarkers - Luscious Locks
Ribbon Girls - Use any image
Lil Patch of Crafting Friends - Anything goes

Texture

Morning everyone and welcome to the latest challenge over at MAWTT, chosen this time by Mrs Duck. She's gone with the great theme of
Texture

So grab those embossing powders and folders, your charms and ribbons and anything else you can think would add texture to your work.

To add texture to my card, I went with die cuts and embossing folders.  I've gone for a simple colour scheme and a gorgeous Hannah Lynn image and finished my card off with a LOTV sentiment and ribbon.

Challenges;
Polkadoodles - Girly but no pink
Clear it Out - Girls and die cuts and stash items... Image printed and coloured months ago/ old ribbon.
Fan-tastic Tuesday - texture
TopTipTuesday- All about the hair
Make it Mon with Kraft - Emboss
Make my Mon - Kraft

And poor Mrs Duck is feeling poorly this week, hope you feel better soon and have learned your lesson, keep away from the chickens!!! Jx

Filigree

I can't quite believe it, after 13 years of schooling, Colin sits his final SQA exam today and that will then be him left school once his leavers form is signed.  So no more homework, no more school bus to catch, no more parents nights and no more letters home from school - the end of a chapter in all our lives.  But just wait till next week as that's when Colin's new adventure begins...

Back to today first and the latest challenge at An Oldie But a Goodie ...which is...

One that kinda had me stumped till I thought of my little La-La Land corner filigree die! You can however use twirly papers/dies what ever really as long as we get the general idea!

My oldies this time are the ribbon and my gorgeous Hannah Lynn digi.The papers are new Bo Bunny Avenues Collection , the filigree die is by La La Land and my colouring as always by Promarker.

Simply Charming

I can't seem to get my timings right at the moment with all my DT cards - I either make them way in advance or it's a rush to get them finished! No rush job however this week for Diva's as we switch back to Team B and a new challenge of

Charming

This week we are sponsored by the fabulous Stamp & Create.  To find out the prize on offer, hop back to the Diva's By Design page.

For my card, I went with a gorgeous Hannah Lynn image from Crafts and Me.  I really am trying to work on my inner diva here and have tried to banish plain Jane in favour of a more decorated card.  So not only do you have lots of layers and a flower, you also have a charm, twine and die-cuts!  Papers are by MME, my favourite Paris & Co pad. And, I even managed to paper piece her clothes!

So that's my take on this Charming challenge.  For more inspiration, head over to the main Diva's By Design page where you can feast your eyes on some gorgeous cards, then hopefully join us in this challenge.

Challenges;
One Crazy Stamper - Kraft
Allsorts - Favourite things - Hannah Lynn Stamps, MME paper and paper piecing
Di's Digi Challenge - Paper Piecing - her outfit
A Gem Of A Challenge - Lots of Layers
Papertake - Old, New Borrowed & blue - Well I got 2! Old papers and a new stamp for me.  The blue could even be the bird... and the borrowed, my time as I really should be holiday packing not card making!!!
Crafting For All Seasons - Bingo - Digi, Flower & pearls

Bright Colours

Craft's& Me have some wonderful stamps, and one of my favourite ranges is by Hannah Lynn.  I just love this mermaid image and loved colouring her tail then making it all sparkly.

And she's perfect for the current challenge over at An Oldie But A Goodie which begins today.  Francesca has chosen

Bright Colours

as the theme this time round and back sponsoring us again this time are the fabulous Iva Nova Chest and they are offering our challenge winner this prize from their store.

So here is my bright & sparkly card!

Papers are again by MME, this time it's my Be Amazing Pad and the flowers are by Mulberry Crafts out of a prize I won earlier in the year. (Thanks Bev.)

Please check out the rest of the DT makes and leave them some love before joining us in our Bright Colours Challenge over at An Oldie But A Goodie.  To enter our challenge remember you must follow the theme and use an item of 6 months or over and let us know what it is.  In my case it's the lovely image.  I've noot used it before but I've had it for over 6 months.
