AAA Card Challenge #159 One Corner + Older Supplies

While searching through my stash this week I came across an older set from There She Goes clear stamps called "Ruh-roh".  Sadly, Jessica closed TSG back in 2013, but this cute set lives on!  It was also worked perfectly for the current AAA Cards challenge. This sweet set was designed by Torico (Birdie Brown) who currently designs for My Favorite Things.  I stamped my little scene in the corner of a 4.25 square card base.  It was colored with Copic and Azure markers. My scene features the color combo from this weekend's color challenge at the Christian Cardmakers Facebook Group.   I would like to share my card with the following: AAA Cards CAS Game: #159 One Corner + Older Supplies Simon Says Wednesday Challenge:  Add A Sentiment Cute Card Thursday Challenge:  #622 Square Aud Sentiment Challenge:  #245 Anything Goes   Word Art Wednesday:  #426 - #427 Anything Goes

SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge #33

While looking through my stamp stash last week I came across this adorable stamp set called "Float My Boat" from There She Goes and designed by Torico.  Sadly, TSG closed their shop a few years ago.  Torico is now designing for My Favorite Things and continues to create adorable stamps. The base panel was created with distress inks.  I replaced the banner element in the current SPD sketch with a felt cloud die cut and sun. Thanks for stopping by tonight! I'm sharing my card with the following: Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge:  #391 A Retired Stamp Word Art Wednesday:  Anything Goes #292 - 293 Penny Black and More Challenge:  July - For the Boys   SugarPea Designs Mix It Up:  Challenge #33

MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #328

I'm getting a head start on my Mother's Day cards and this sweet little PI image from  MFT fit perfectly. This is now retired, but Lisa Lynn used  this sweetie recently and inspired me  to pull it out, dust it off and ink! I started by stamping the image onto Stampin' Up! Whisper White card stock. The image was masked and the  washer/dryer image from There She Goes (Sadly out of business) was stamped.  I fussy cut the scene and layered it  onto the floral paper hoping it would  appear as wallpaper. A machine stitched border and Mother's Day sentiment from  Sugar Pea Designs finish the card. Thanks for stopping by for a closer look! I'm sharing my card with the following: MFT Wednesday Sketch:  Challenge #328   Word Art Wednesday:  #278 - #279 Anything Goes Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Saturday Challenge:  Anything Goes   Crafting When We Can Challenge:  #142 One for...

There She Goes and Tuesday Morning Sketch

I have a quick card to share for this week's There She Goes Challenge - TSG 203 Just Because.   TSG is also sponsoring this week's Tuesday Morning Sketch #194 .  I love me a good sketch! Here's the sketch we were asked to use: Here's the card I created for both challenges using There She Goes Jungle Out There : This set is so much fun and the images are big... perfect for cards or scrapbooking! The elephant image was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut.  I had the negative frame in my stash and decided this was the perfect sketch to use them!  I tucked a little cheesecloth behind the frame for some extra texture (which I Love!) and layered different papers from the MME Breeze paper pad.  Easy Peasy!  Thanks for stopping by for a closer look!  I hope you get a chance to play along this week.

TSG202 and Birdie Brown

I hope you are having a fabulous weekend!  I am stopping in with a quick post for this week's There She Goes and Birdie Brown .  Here's the card that I created using Torico's April Freebie image and TSG color combo of blue, yellow with a neutral: If you love this image as much as I do, be sure to hop over to Torico's blog and pick it up!  You have until April 30 to create something .... you might even win a free Birdie Brown digital image. Thanks for stopping by for a closer look!

Birdie Brown Birthday Challenge and TSG197

Birdie Brown is celebrating their 2nd Birthday this month!  Torico is hosting two challenges this month as part of the celebration.  The first challenge is to create a card with a Birdie Brown image with a birthday theme.  I used this adorable image called Girl-Just bloomed for my card. And Vera is this week's challenge hostess for There She Goes and her challenge is to use black cardstock for matting.  I used actual card stock for the Birthday sentiment, but created a faux black mat for the image.  I learned this trick awhile back and it's great when you need the appearance of a fine black mat without wasting card stock and having the extra bulk.  All you need is a Sharpie marker and a ruler (if the edge is straight) then run the black Sharpie along the edges. Thanks for stopping by for a closer look!  I always enjoy reading your comments.

There She Goes Inspiration Challenge

Good morning!  I am back this morning with a quick post for this week's There She Goes Inspiration Challenge .  This week, Candace provided the following inspiration photo: I chose to focus on the colors provided in the photo - green, pink and white.  I needed a break from creating Winter themed cards so I chose to use Chris Dark's set " In All the World " for my card. This sweet scene was colored with Copic Markers.  The designer papers are from Basic Grey Olivia paper pad.  I have omitted a sentiment so this could be used for any occasion.  I like having several of those in my stash so that a sentiment can quickly be added to fit the occasion. Finally, this card is also uses this week's Splitcoast Stampers Sketch Challenge .  Below is the sketch that Janette provided: Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you are having a fabulous weekend.

There She Goes Challenge #182

I finally got a chance to play along with this week's challenge on There She Goes blog.  I love me a good sketch and this one was super fun!  Here's the sketch that Jessie has provided: Here's my take on the sketch using There She Goes Clear Stamp set " Jungle Out There ": The leaping lion was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut for dimension.  The head was stamped again and applied with dimension foam.  The adorable papers are from Bo Bunny Camp-a-Lot paper pack.  I used Sweet 'n Sassy's Star dies and layered a Basic Grey clear yellow button and pearl.  I had a lot of fun making this little card.  I know I'll be reaching for this set again soon! Thanks for stopping by for a closer look!  I hope you're having a fabulous weekend.

Lil' Inker Designs and There She Goes

Hi!  I have two projects to share with you tonight.  The first for this week's There She Goes challenge is to create a card/project using the theme "Presents/Gift Giving".  What better gift than a little bag of Hershey kisses! I used two TSG sets for this project.  The wrapped gift is from "Scent-sational" and the sentiment is from "Blossom by Blossom".  The little gift bag is from Martha Stewart and the image was colored with Copic Markers. My second project tonight for the Lil' Inkers Design Blog .  Laura, owner of LDB, is having an impromptu challenge to CASE the following card. I chose to focus on the colors in Debby's Card and this is what I created using "Rain Boy" by Lil' Inker Designs. I used this week's sketch from Splitcoast Stampers as my starting point.  The little boy image was colored with Copic Markers and the umbrella has been paper pieced.  Memory Box dies were used for the clouds and ta...

There She Goes Challenge 172 - Let them eat Cake

This week's challenge on the There She Goes Clear Stamps blog is to create something sweet.  In keeping with their 4th Birthday celebration, I created a Birthday card. I used the cake image from "Scent-sational" for this clean and simple design.  I have combined it this perfectly coordinating digital sentiment.  It's a freebie that you can find on Create with TLC .  (Be sure to give Paulette a Thank You for all of her hard work!)  The image was colored with Copic Markers and orange Stickles were added to the candle flame.  Baker's twine and pearls are the finishing touches. Thanks for stopping to take a closer look!  Hope you have a great Friday!

There She Goes Birthday Celebration Day 1

There She Goes is celebrating their 4th year in business with a week of challenges. The challenge for Day 1 is to create something with numbers and a birthday theme, of course. Here's what I came up with using the "Scent-sational" set: I am having so much fun playing with the sweet skunk images in this set!  The skunk image was colored with Copic Markers.  The atomizer was paper pieced with Basic Grey Shine On papers.  The base panel was dry embossed using a Cuttlebug numbers folder.  Coordinating designer papers were used from the Shine On paper pad.  Thanks for stopping by to take a closer look! Happy Birthday to There She Goes!

There She Goes Challenge #171

Good morning!  I am posting a quick card for this week's sketch challenge over on There She Goes blog.  Below is this week's sketch provided by Kim: Here is what I came up with using TSG " Scent-sational " set: I kept my card pretty CAS and colored the sweet little skunk image using Prismacolor pencils and baby oil.  This set has some really adorable "Scent-timents" to go along with the cute skunk images.  Of course, skunks are not one of my favorite animals.  But Melyssa has created a group of cute skunk images that are hard to resist! The image and sentiment were layered on Stampin' Up! Riding Hood Red, basic black and Georgia Pacific White is the base.  I added machine stitching for the base panel border. Thanks for stopping by for a closer look!  Hope you have a great Friday!

There She Goes Challenge #164 - Stitching

For this week's There She Goes Challenge Wendy has challenged us to use stitching (real or faux) with our TSG goodies.  I have to admit, lately my card doesn't look quite finished without stitching.  It's an easy (and cheap) embellishment! Here's what I came up with: The fun little car image and words are from There She Goes Clear Stamp " Vroom ".  The sentiment is from Create with TLC and can be found HERE .  I added a rhinestone swirl by Recollections.  Of course, there is machine stitching and the sentiment panel was sponged with Memento ink.  The fun papers are from Basic Grey Lime Rickey paper pad. Thanks for stopping by to take a closer look!  I hope you have something fun planned for the weekend.  It's still rainy and cool here in Anchorage.  We are hoping for a few sunny breaks tomorrow!

There She Goes - Winged Things Challenge

This week's challenge on the There She Goes blog is to use "Winged Things".  I have been itching to ink up this adorable little image from "In all the World" by TSG.  I think that the butterflies qualify for the challenge and I added a die cut butterfly from Amuse studio as well.  The image was colored with Copic Markers.  Stickles and gems were added to the flowers.  Stampin' Up! pearls were added to the die cut butterfly. The layout is from this week's sketch Card Positioning System Blog .  Such a versatile sketch with lots of possibilities! We are having fabulous summer weather here in Anchorage!  Sunny, clear skies and warm temperatures.  DH and I hope to take full advantage tomorrow with a day trip out of town to enjoy the Alaska scenery.... maybe hiking or fishing.  Hope you have plans for a great weekend!  Thanks for stopping by to take a closer look.

There She Goes Challenge - TSG160 Circles

This week's challenge on the There She Goes Challenge Blog is to create using circles. I used a circle designer paper from the new Bo Bunny "Hello Sunshine" paper stack.  The main image was cut with Spellbinder circle nestibilities and is from TSG's " Puppy Love " set. I'm having so much fun with the adorable images and sweet sentiments included in this set.  The image was colored with Copic Markers.  The birthday sentiment is computer generated. The sketch for this card is another great one from the CPS blog challenge: Thanks for stopping by to take a closer look!  Hope you have a great weekend wherever you may be.

There She Goes #158 - Cork it!

I'm back with a second post for tonight.  Wow, the inspiration is rolling so I'm going with it! Okay, at first I thought the There She Goes challenge this week dealt with wine!  Um, no this week's trendsetter - Karen has challenge us to use Cork with our TSG images. I love using texture on my cards and cork is a really fun texture to use in many ways.  I have never stamped on cork, so I thought "I wonder what it would look like to stamp directly on the cork".  Well, I stamped the pup on the cork directly and colored with Copic Markers.  The little girl image was paper pieced and colored with Copic Markers as well.  Both images are from There She Goes " Puppy Love " set.  I love anything dog themed so this set is perfect! I distressed and inked the edges of the base panels then machine stitched.  I have to say that I'm pleased with the results!  This card really took on a life of it's own as my original idea was nothing like this....

There She Goes Challenge #157

I'm back with another post today for this week's There She Goes sketch challenge .  Sketch challenges are my absolute favorite.  Here is what was provided: I just found TSG a couple of months ago so I'm still ordering my favorite sets.  During a recent blog hop, I saw a sample posted with " Vroom " and knew I must have it.  I am a convertible owner and this was perfect! It's true that "Life is better with your top off!" The convertible was paper pieced with Stampin' Up! Real Red card stock.  The base was created using Memory box and Pink Paislee designer Papers.  The base was dry embossed with Cuttlebug Swissdot emboss folder. Thanks for stopping by to take a look.  I enjoy reading your comments!
