Monochromatic Hello

Good morning!  I'm sharing a group of monochromatic designs that will be going out to the Send Senior Citizens Love card drive hosted by Splitcoast Stampers .   I was touched after reading Ashley Lynch's story and how she began the program during the pandemic and lockdown of so many nursing homes.  She began sending notes of encouragement personally which is now a nationwide mission. This group of cards began with my large stack of paper scraps.  All papers are from Stampin' Up! Flirty Flamingo and Peach Parfait. The word dies are Spellbinder  Hello Smile.  Cuttlebug embossing folders were used for the base panel.  A little thread and gems from my stash finish the cards. Sweet November Stamps - Happy Mother's Day

Sweet November Stamps has the sweetest new release full of woodland critters and flowers.  My card features their new Spring Woodland Background and Spring Woodland Alice and Bird images. If you have never tried digital stamps these are a must have!  They are sold with both PNG and JPG versions for creating scenes or stand alone.  Digital images are easy to store and can be resized to fit your project. My scene was colored with Copic Markers and Prismacolor pencils then die cut with Spellbinder Nested Circle Dies.  The image was layered onto designer papers from Pebbles called Family Ties.  A wood mount sentiment from Inkadinkado, paper flowers and twine complete the card. Happy Mother's Day - Daffodil Delivery

I'm getting a head start on my Mother's Day cards with this adorable Daffodil Delivery digital image from Di's Digi Designs.  You can find an updated version in Di's Etsy shop HERE . The image was printed onto X-Press It card stock and colored with Copic Markers.  The image and frame panel were die cut with Spellbinders Oval dies then layered onto designer paper from Graphic45.   The Mother's Day sentiment is from Hero Arts and was wet embossed on vellum then adhered.  I finished the A2 size card with coordinating baker's twine.   A new bi-weekly challenge has begun at Di's Digi Design Challenge Blog .  The theme is 2 of a Kind - include two of something on your project. My project features Di's adorable Animals Ahoy digital stamp.  The image was colored with alcohol markers then die cut with Spellbinders Classic Rectangles Large and mounted onto black card stock cut with Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Rectangles Large.  TWO die cuts. The image is layered onto TWO designer papers from my stash and I have included TWO enamel dots.  The birthday sentiment is a wood mount stamp from Stampabilities.  I got an opportunity to stop at a Hobby Lobby during our vacation this week.  I loved the font on the stamp and only $2.49! Art Impressions Challenge: #351 Furries & Feathers

The current challenge at Art Impressions is Furries & Feathers.  I was a lucky challenge winner and Dog House Cubbies was my choice.  The pups and little open doors are so fun! I started by stamping all of the images onto water color paper.  They were die cut then colored and blended with Tombow markers.  I decided the image size was perfect for a bookmark. I used papers from my stash and Spellbinders Long Classic Rectangle Large die for the bookmark.  A small tab punch and twine finish the project. This will be going to my niece who is an animal lover.  Watch for more fun creations with this set soon!
