Mo's Digital Pencil - Challenge #71

It's been a few weeks since I've gotten to participate with Mo's weekly challenge over on the DP2 Challenge blog . This week Cathy's challenge was to use Spring colors and homemade flower embellishments with our Mo's image. Below is what I came up with: Below is a close up of the ribbon flower that I made. It was my very first try with this technique and very easy! I took about a yard of ribbon and began rolling up it into a small ball. I had already punched a small circle from heavy cardstock, applied hot glue and stuck the ribbon onto the glue. I really like the finished effect! I colored this sweet image of Jack & Ginger with Copic Markers and sponged the background. I added designer paper from the Basic Grey Hopscotch paper pack and a few pearls. Thanks for taking a look!
