Stampin' In Alaska

  I'm joining the March Challenge at A Blog Named Hero.  The current theme is Floral.  I couldn't resist making a fun scene with Hero Arts newest HeroScape set called Lily Pond. The base panel is a gel print using a Simon Says Stamp Dye Inks and Distress Oxide ink.  I was happily surprised with the end result. The lily pond scene was created by layering each stamp using my Misti and distress inks.  A Hero Arts Happy Mother's Day (F333) sentiment and a few enamel dots finish the card.   Hero Arts recently released their 2021 Catalogue products.  I saw a sneak peek of the new Lily Pond HeroScape and it went onto on Wish List!   I love how you can easily create a fun scene with all of the HeroScape sets.  This one is no exception! I started by creating a blended distress ink "sky" base panel.  I used my Misti to create the lily pond scene. Various Tim Holtz distress inks were used:  Mermaid Lagoon for the water, Mowed Lawn & Forest Moss for the lily pads, Memento Lulu Lavender and Lilac Posies for the flowers.
