Creative Worship Stamps - Silhouette Birthday

I'm so honored to have been invited to Guest Design with Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps for the month of July.  I have been a customer of Sweet 'n Sassy since their beginning.  Korin Sutherland began Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps , LLC in 2007 as a small, family-owned, Christian company offering their own brand of clear stamps, dies, stencils and digital products to the paper crafting community. The SNSS products are proudly made in the USA and offer many Scripture based stamp sets.  Be on the lookout for a new company name soon - Creative Worship Stamps! Masculine designs are always challenging for me.  But when I saw the Birthday Guy clear stamp set from Creative Worship Stamps I knew it was a must-have!  This set contains four great sentiments - three are specific to the guys. I began by sponging a colorful cloudy sky then stamping the tree and moose image from Creative Worships Forest Silhouettes stamp set .  A couple of bird dies from the Forest Silho...

Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Silhouette Birthday and Guest Designer

I'm so honored to have been invited to Guest Design with Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps for the month of July.  I have been a customer of Sweet 'n Sassy since the beginning. I'm sharing a birthday card today using several of my favorite SNSS products.   I started my card by masking a 1 1/2 inch strip to ink blend using Hero Arts Creamsicle and Lemon Drop inks as a "sunset" for the deer scene from Landscape Silhouettes set.  The grassy pond silhouette image was also stamped at the bottom of the panel.  The deer die cut from the Forest Silhouettes die set was cut with black card s...
Time Out Challenge is celebrating their 10th Birthday this month.  Congratulations! My birthday card features products from one of the celebration sponsors - Gina K. Designs .   I began by foiling a toner card front from Unity Stamps called Floral Background using Gina K. Bubblegum Fancy Foils .  The foiled panel was then ink blended with Tim Holtz distress inks. The tag image was also heat foiled using Gina K. Designs Birthday Essentials Foil-Mates.  Two additional tags were cut for a matting and held together with pink baker's twine.  Several gems finish the card. My card features the retired You Have My Heart set by Birdie Brown.  The image was colored with Copic Markers and masked to create the cloudy sky.   Clouds were created by masking with a cloud die and inking with Salty Ocean and Seedless Preserves distress ink.  A few gems and this week's free digital Bible Verse complete the card. Art Impressions - Road Trip

I'm having so much fun as Guest Designer for Art Impressions this month!  Today I'm sharing a clean and simple design featuring Art Impressions 4931 - Road Trip Set .   I began this card by ink blending with Tim Holtz Distress inks - Salty Ocean, Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch.  Two of the buildings from the set were stamped with Versamark ink and wet embossed with white embossing powder. The group of lady travelers were stamped, colored with Copic Markers, fussy cut then adhered with dimension tape.  The finished panel was layered onto Stampin' Up! Night of Navy card stock.  A few enamel dots and coordinating sentiment finish the card. My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge #652

I just received the retired MFT You're Super set by Birdie Brown from a Stamping Swap group.  I couldn't wait to ink up this sweet image.  The image was stamped, wet embossed and colored with alcohol inks then fussy cut.   I pulled out a retired MFT stencil - Ray of Light - and used distress inks for the sky.  A Memory Box Cityscape Nightline die and gems finish the card. Create A Smile - May Moodboard

I'm joining the current mood board challenge at Create A Smile.  My project features the Create A Smile Cool Cuts Summer Florals die set. I started by inking the Create A Smile Spring Garden stencil onto blue card stock.  The panel was trimmed to 4 square, the dies were arranged and a sentiment from Hero Arts added.  I finished the card with a few gems from Stampin' Up! My Favorite Things Slimline Challenge - December Mini Slimline

I'm joining the current Slimline challenge at MFT which is Anything Goes with a mini slimline size.  My finished card is 3x6.  I enjoy this size and the adorable Happy Pumpkin Season set worked perfectly for this size. The images were stamped then masked to stamp the cobble street road from On Solid Ground .  In hindsight, the brick might have been a better choice but I like the look of the cobblestones!   With the images masked, I used Memento ink to blend the sky.  I removed the mask and colored the images with Copic Markers.  A sentiment from the set finishes the scene. Gina K Designs Monthly Mix Challenge - December

I'm sneaking in a last minute entry for the December Monthly Mix Challenge at Gina K Designs.  This month's challenge is ink blending.   I love the ease and versatility of Gina K Foil-Mates and they worked perfectly for this challenge.  I foiled a sentiment from the Birthday Best foil mates then inked the edges.  The Hot Dots panel was foiled the ink blended with Tim Holtz distress inks - Seedless Preserves, Shaded Lilac and Wilted Violet. A Blog Named Hero: February Anything Goes

Hero Arts recently released their 2021 Catalogue products.  I saw a sneak peek of the new Lily Pond HeroScape and it went onto on Wish List!   I love how you can easily create a fun scene with all of the HeroScape sets.  This one is no exception! I started by creating a blended distress ink "sky" base panel.  I used my Misti to create the lily pond scene. Various Tim Holtz distress inks were used:  Mermaid Lagoon for the water, Mowed Lawn & Forest Moss for the lily pads, Memento Lulu Lavender and Lilac Posies for the flowers. Gina K. February 2021 Monthly Mix Challenge - Love in the Air

I recently came across some older Gina K. stamp sets in my craft room.   One of my crafty goals for the year is to use my older images in a new way.  The images and sentiments in the Sent With Love StampTV Kit are perfect for the February Challenge - Love in the Air. I started by blending distress inks then heat embossed the floral image.  A few sequins and a coordinating sentiment finish the card. This will be going to my aunt and uncle who are celebrating 50 plus years of marriage this month!  Big Congrats! I would like to share my card with the following: Gina K. Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge #19 Include A Heart

I'm joining a couple of challenges with a clean and simple birthday card featuring the July 2018 Hero Art Monthly Kit. I found this "new to me" kit on a swap/sell website recently.  I was super excited to find someone willing to share this adorable kit!  I couldn't wait to play with it. Of course, I found my inspiration on the Hero Arts blog from design team member Jessica Frost-Ballas.  For my CASE of the card I opted for Hero Arts Blue Reactive ink, the heart balloon and a Hero Arts woodblock sentiment - C2770 Enjoy Your Birthday. I love these silhouette style images which allow for a quick card.
