Stampin' In Alaska

I only recently discovered the AAA Cards clean and simple challenge.  It says "Challenge" for a reason... My CAS design skills get a workout each time I play along!!  I'm joining again to help celebrate their 6th birthday with a CAS design featuring Honey Bee Stamps Coffee Break set. The coffee image was stamped onto kraft cardstock.  I originally planned to color the entire image with Prismacolor pencils.  But I realized after it was stamped that the simple black on kraft was eye catching.  I colored the heart red then coordinated a border panel in red.  The sentiment is from a very old set by Memory Box called Flower Patch.   I'm also sharing with Day 6 of the Coffee Lovers Hop!  I hope you get a chance to join the fun.  Amy and her team offer tons of inspiration AND sponsor prizes.  You can check out the details by using the link below. I'm sharing a clean and simple design for a couple of challenges featuring Honey Bee Stamps.  A masked panel was sponged using distress inks then spritzed with water.  After drying, the bee was stamped three times.  A little "buzzy" trail was hand drawn.  The sentiment is from Honey Bee Forest Friends. I haven't gotten a chance to play along with Mo's fun challenges lately.  I love sketches and had to join the fun this month.  My card features the adorable Scrappy . Scrappy was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut.  My scene was created with a doghouse die from Honeybee, grass and fence dies are from Sweet 'n Sassy.  The adorable sentiment is from Lizzie Anne Designs. I recently began participating with the challenges at AAA Cards.  It surely takes me out of my comfort zone!  I pulled out an older stencil from Memory Box and stamped a couple of little bees from Honeybee Stamps.  I finished by adding Wink of Stella to the wings. I'm joining the current Movers & Shakers challenge at Art Impressions with a retired set from the Shake Your Booty line called To The End.  I love the happy expression on the pups face! The pup was stamped onto water color paper then colored with Tombow markers and a blending pen.  I couldn't resist using the dog house die from Honey Bee with the pup.  He was the perfect size! The "booty" was popped up with an AI mini action wobble.  The coordinating birthday sentiment was computer generated.   The finished card size is 4.25 square.  This will be going into my Birthday card stash for a dog lover in my family. I recently won the Honey Bee Facebook challenge and purchased the adorable Forest Critters set.  It worked perfectly for this little "heart day" wish! The image was stamped onto watercolor paper and colored with Tombow markers then blended.  I recently hit an awesome sale on papers at JoAnn's which included this whimsical heart paper.
