Elvis Presley Birthday

I hope everyone has enjoyed a relaxing Memorial Day weekend.  Thank you to all who have served or with family that are in the military.   I'm pulling out an older wood block stamp from Cornish Heritage Farms.  CHF had the licensing for the Elvis Presley stamp series in the 1990's.  Sadly, they are no longer in business.  One of so many family owned stamp companies have closed for personal or business reasons over the years. The image was stamped with Versa Clair Nocturne ink then die cut with Spellbinder Wonky Rectangles.  Panels have been matted with Stampin' Up! Taken with Teal cardstock and embellished with SU blue gems.  The base panel was embossed with a Cuttlebug numbers folder.  A gelli print panel from my stash adds to the 70's vibe.  A birthday tab from MemoryboxCo finishes the card. Shery is having a fantastic Spring Cleaning Blowout sale .  Lots of items are going at great prices! The tag base was created with acrylic paints and an embossing folder on my gelli plate.  Below is a photo of the gelli print used for the Bloom Border stamp.   The tag was finished with black twine, organdy ribbon from my stash, a gem and a Verve leaf die cut from glitter card stock.  I used a sentiment from the Grace So Amazing set from Creative Worship Stamps. Penny Black Saturday Challenge

I'm sharing a scenic mixed media card for the current challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge . The base panel is a gelli print using various textures and acrylic paint.  To be completely honest, this one almost went into the trash!  While searching for a background for the Penny Black Panoramic Cling stamp I came across this print and just knew it was right. I used my Misti stamping platform to align the telephone pole/wire and fencing.  As you can see, the telephone pole/wire stamp is quite large.  I stamped twice with Versafine black to get a good image.
