  Happy Saturday!  I hope everyone gets to enjoy a little crafty time this weekend.   I {LOVE} a good sketch challenge!  The team at MFT always provides a fun and challenging sketch.  I pulled out a favorite MFT set designed by Birdie Brown (Torico) called Friends at First Sip for this week's sketch.   The sweet images were stamped onto watercolor paper and colored then blended with Tombow markers.  They were layered onto papers from MFT Creepy Confections paper pad.  The birthday sentiment is from a retired MFT set - PI All Occasion Sentiments.  A few enamel dots from my stash finish the card. This will be going to my coffee-loving niece next month for her 11th birthday!   I'm sharing a fun coffee themed card for the current sketch challenge at MFT.  My card features Friends At First Sip.  The images were colored with Tombow Markers and die cut. The background for my card was created with acrylic paints and my gelli plate.  I've been having fun playing along with the Gelli Arts March prompt challenge on Instagram . I'm sharing this fun coffee themed birthday card with several current challenges.  The inspiration began with the Wednesday Sketch Challenge #435 at My Favorite Things. My card features the adorable MFT Friends at First Sip by Birdie Brown . The image was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut.  The dog images were stamped onto water color paper and die cut. A distress ink water color partial background is the base panel for the scene.  The Cityscape Nightline die is from Memory Box.  A birthday sentiment from MFT - PI All Occasion Sentiments finishes the card.  I'm also sharing with the current MFT Birthday Project Challenge to include a beverage . Happy Monday!  I'm joining the current sketch challenge at My Favorite Things with their adorable Friends at First Sip set by Birdie Brown.  This is an absolutely adorable set and perfect for any coffee lover! I started by stamping the image onto Copic marker paper and coloring with Copic Markers.  The bag was paper pieced with coordinating designer paper from Doodlebug Designs Cream & Sugar paper pad.    The card based was spritzed with Dandelion Fireworks glitter spray.  Designer papers from Doodlebug were used for the panels.  A coordinating sentiment and enamel dots finish the card. A few weeks ago I was the lucky winner of the MFT Sketch challenge.  I was SO excited when  sneak peeks began for the new Birdie Brown Friends at First Sip stamp set. I knew this set is what I would be using my MTF prize to buy! The current sketch challenge was perfect for this sweet pup and coffee cup.  Both images were stamped onto water color paper and colored with Tombow markers. The designer paper is from the DCWV Playful Pets mat stack.  The images were die cut with the coordinating MFT dies then adhered to the base with dimensional tape.  Super easy!
