Stampin' In Alaska

  The current challenge at Art Impressions is Furries & Feathers.  I was a lucky challenge winner and Dog House Cubbies was my choice.  The pups and little open doors are so fun! I started by stamping all of the images onto water color paper.  They were die cut then colored and blended with Tombow markers.  I decided the image size was perfect for a bookmark. I used papers from my stash and Spellbinders Long Classic Rectangle Large die for the bookmark.  A small tab punch and twine finish the project. This will be going to my niece who is an animal lover.  Watch for more fun creations with this set soon! I haven't gotten a chance to play along with Mo's fun challenges lately.  I love sketches and had to join the fun this month.  My card features the adorable Scrappy . Scrappy was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut.  My scene was created with a doghouse die from Honeybee, grass and fence dies are from Sweet 'n Sassy.  The adorable sentiment is from Lizzie Anne Designs. It's Anything But a Card at Catch the Bug Challenge Blog today. I picked up two magnetic bookmarks recently at Michael's out of their $1 bin. What an easy and fun gift to simply add these adorable pup images from Rottweiler Trio Blocks. The digital image was printed onto Stampin' Up! Whisper White card stock and colored with Spectrum Noir pens then fussy cut. Thanks for taking a closer look! Welcome to the March Bingo Challenge at Catch the Bug ! My card features the adorable Puppy Pile digital image from Bugaboo Stamps. The image was printed onto Stampin' Up! Whisper White card stock and colored with Copic Markers. It has been layered onto SU In-Color designer papers from my stash. A farm fence die cut from MFT and baker's twine finish the card. This week's Sweet 'n Sassy digi challenge is to use a "Fun Fold".  I decided it was the perfect opportunity to overcome my intimidation of the side step fold.  The fold itself was pretty easy for me, but putting all of the elements together for the scene was a challenge! Here's what I came up with: It was a little difficult to photograph, but hopefully you get a good idea.  I followed Beate's tutorial for the side step card over on the Splitcoaststampers website.  The pup is a Sweet 'n Sassy digital called " Puppy Love " and the other dog related stamps are from a retired Stampin' Up! set called "Bow Wow".  The fun dog sentiment is a freebie from Raindrop Echo Designs Blog .  I used a MFT die-namic for the grass and the Marshmallow Cloud die from Memory Box.
