  I'm joining a couple of challenges with this fun card featuring the retired MFT set by Birdie Brown called You're Super.  The image was fussy cut and colored with Copic Markers.  I stamped the frame and sentiment, wet embossed then fussy cut. My card features the retired MFT Birth-yay stamp by Birdie Brown.  The image was colored with Copic Markers and layered onto various MFT designer papers.  Twine and gems finish the card.   The card design was inspired by MFT designer Zoe.  You can check out her adorable card HERE .   As they say:  "All good things must come to an end".  I have been playing along with the MFT sketch challenge from about #165.... A Long Time.   The MFT team announced that this will be the final sketch challenge, and of course, I had to play along. My card features the retired MFT Adorable Adventures designed by Birdie Brown.  The images were stamped, die cut and colored with alcohol markers then sponged with Danube Blue Memento ink.  The circle dies were adhered to paper from the MFT Happy Trails paper pad.  A coordinating MFT Birthday sentiment and enamel dots finish the card.   I'm joining the current MFT sketch featuring the adorable Woof Pack stamp set.  The image was colored with Tombow Markers on water color paper.  Memory Box designer papers are from my scrap pile. The dog house die, bone and bowl are retired MFT.  I remembered the string of lights were in an old Taylored Expressions beach die set.  They worked perfectly!   I'm sharing a Fall themed card for this week's sketch challenge at My Favorite Things.  I pulled out a favorite set designed by Birdie Brown called Sweater Weather in the Woods.  The image was water colored with Tombow markers and the sweater was paper pieced.  A few gems were applied for the buttons.   The sentiment is from MFT Happy Pumpkin Season.  A retired Stampin' Up! French Script background stamp was applied to the base panel with VersaMark ink.  It provides a very subtle texture which I thought finished the project off nicely.   Happy Saturday!  I hope everyone gets to enjoy a little crafty time this weekend.   I {LOVE} a good sketch challenge!  The team at MFT always provides a fun and challenging sketch.  I pulled out a favorite MFT set designed by Birdie Brown (Torico) called Friends at First Sip for this week's sketch.   The sweet images were stamped onto watercolor paper and colored then blended with Tombow markers.  They were layered onto papers from MFT Creepy Confections paper pad.  The birthday sentiment is from a retired MFT set - PI All Occasion Sentiments.  A few enamel dots from my stash finish the card. This will be going to my coffee-loving niece next month for her 11th birthday!   I'm sharing a fun fall coffee/cocoa card tonight featuring MFT Sweater Weather in the Woods set.  Of course, living in Alaska, I had to create at least one card with the adorable Birdie Brown Moose! I started with a kraft panel as my base and used the Tim Holtz splatters stencil with Rich Cocoa Memento ink.  The moose image was stamped with VersaClaire Pinecone and colored with Prismacolor pencils.  A coordinating sentiment and enamel dots finish the card.   I'm playing along with this week's MFT sketch challenge featuring the adorable Penguins in Paradise.   The "water" was created using the MFT Wavy Lines stencil, Tim Holtz distress inks and Stickles for sparkle.  I used an old technique for the "sand" by tearing SU Creamy Caramel cardstock then inking lightly.   I stamped the palm tree on Creamy Caramel and Old Olive cardstock then fussy cut.  Images were colored with Copic Markers.   I'm playing along with the current sketch and slimline challenges at My Favorite Things.  I pulled out Birdie Brown's Sweater Weather in the Woods set for a Fall themed slimline design. The fun critters were stamped onto water color paper and colored with Tombow markers.  The card base was masked and inked with several distress inks for the cloudy sky.  I layered the MFT Farm Fence die and Sugar Pea birch die to complete the scene.
