Stampin' In Alaska

  Sharing a fun scene for this week's MFT sketch featuring Best Fins.  The images were stamped onto watercolor paper, colored with Tombow markers and die cut.  The base panel is from Doodlebug Designs Anchors Aweigh paper pad.  A layer of vellum, coordinating sentiment and dewdrops finish the card. My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch challenge is celebrating their 500th sketch!  Wow!  I love sketch challenges and I {love} MFT's adorable products so of course I'm joining the fun. I pulled out my current favorite set - Best Fins.  A couple of weeks ago I stamped, die cut and colored a few of each image.  For this card I used distress inks to create a smooshed ink background.  I placed my ocean critters in a visual triangle for the MFT Summer School Lesson #1 .  A sentiment from the set and sequins complete the card. I'm having so much fun with the new MFT Best Fins set.  I stamped the ocean critters onto watercolor paper and die cut.  They were colored and blended with Tombow markers. I haven't gotten a chance to join the MFT sketch challenge for a couple of weeks.  But I recently received the new Best Fins set and knew this sketch would be perfect. I started by stamping several of the ocean critters onto watercolor paper.  They were colored and blended with Tombow markers then die cut.  The water panel was sponged with distress ink and a waves stencil from SugarPea Designs. The card was finished with a coordinating sentiment from the set, color cardstock from my stash and a few dew drops.
