So, being at home has its perks.... Sleeping in (when the dog allows it) Finishing projects around the house Going without make-up or fixing my hair AND playing in my craft room a little more! Today I decided to pull out this adorable orchid image from Power Poppy and practice my coloring skills.  The image is called Orchid Cascade and you can get it for $2.99 right now.  I used the following Copic Markers for the orchids:  Y11, V06,V04, V09 and BV000.  Practice and more practice! This will be going into the mail to my great-aunt who is a lover of orchids.  I know she will enjoy this... Thank you Marcella for such lovely artwork that we can share with others! I couldn't help but join the sketch challenge at Power Poppy with this last minute card!  I {LOVE} sketches and this one proved to be perfect for my Get Well card. My project started by printing the Power Poppy digital image Orchid Cascade onto Kraft card stock. The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils.  I hand cut the border shape to mimic the sketch.  Machine stitching and enamel dots finish the card.
