Stampin' In Alaska

  I'm playing along with the current challenge at Di's Digi Stamps.  This week we were asked to include a digital element.  I was a recent challenge winner and found this cutie in the shop Aeroplane Racoon .  I'm loving Di's racoon images! The digital image was printed onto X-Press It card stock, colored with Copic markers and fussy cut.  It has been adhered with dimension tape to a background paper from Carta Bella The Great Outdoors paper pad.   A birthday sentiment from Sweet 'n Sassy finish the clean and simple design.  I was so happy when I came across the background page.  It works perfectly and made this card super quick!   The current challenge at Art Impressions is All Wrapped Up - Bows or Ribbons whether real or stamped.  I recently came across a bundle of various stamps at my local thrift store.  What a fun surprise to find the retired AI Zoo Babies Bananas set among the haul! I've stamped the image onto water color paper.  The image was first water colored then highlights were added with both Prismacolor pencils and Tombow markers.  After drying, I fussy cut the image and layered onto yellow gingham and banana designer papers from DaisyD's.  I've included a gingham bow from Gina K, a coordinating sentiment and enamel dots finish the card.   Hello!  I hope everyone had a great weekend and got a few minutes to get crafty.   I couldn't resist joining the current challenge at House Mouse & Friends .  Their current challenge theme option is Fruit.  I love this older wood mount House-Mouse Designs stamp called Sleeping with Strawberries (1999 Stampa Rosa, Inc). I have been practicing with my water coloring skills this week!  So, the image was stamped onto water color paper then water colored with the Altenew Watercolor Essential 12 Pan set .  The image was die cut then layered onto retired designer papers from Stampin' Up!   My layout inspiration was provided by a Mojo Monday sketch.  I really do miss Julee's sketchy inspiration.  If you are interested you can check out her library of sketches HERE .   I'm sharing a masculine farm scene card featuring Unity Stamp Company's June 2023 Monthly Kit.  The image was stamped onto water color paper and water colored with Altenew half pan colors.  Spellbinders Deckled Rectangles Large die cut was used for both the image and black mat. The base panel is a Gelli Print from my stash.  I used Sweet 'n Sassy's chicken wire stencil over the gelli print.  A few enamel dots finish the card.   Happy Friday!  I hope everyone had a great week.   It's been awhile since I've played along with the challenges at My Favorite Things .  We have been busy with a somewhat complicated kitchen remodel this month.  I've also had design team commitments to keep up with amidst the chaos! When the yummy color combo and sketch were posted I had to make the time!  I recently purchased a retired MFT stamp and die from the Pure Innocence line called Sweet Birthday Girl.   This sweetie with her pigtails remind me of my niece.  I will be saving this one for her birthday in a few months when she turns 3.  Wow, time sure flies! The image was stamped onto X-Press It card stock, heat embossed with clear powder, colored with Copic Markers then die cut.  Designer papers are MFT Cool Collab 6x6 paper pad.  Enamel dots and a coordinating sentiment from the set complete the card.   I'm joining the current Summer Time challenge at The Paper Shelter.  Summer in Alaska is all about fishing, camping, hiking and enjoying the outdoors!  I couldn't resist using the adorable When In Doubt.. Exaggerate!! digital stamp by The Paper Shelter. The digital image was printed onto X-Press It card stock and colored with alcohol markers.  It was die cut and layered onto designer papers from BoBunny Take a Hike collection.  I thought the sentiment was perfect with this guy and his catch.  It is from a very old TAC set.  The finished card size is 4 inches square.   Happy Wednesday!  What a crazy week's it has been already.  And only half way to the weekend.  :) I created a colorful summer card featuring a digital stamp from Sweet 'n Sassy called Butterfly & Flower .  Of course, if you follow my blog, you know that I love the convenience and sizing options of digital stamps.  This image was printed onto X-Press It card stock and colored with Copic markers then fussy cut. The Gelli Print panel was die cut with Sunny Studio's Frilly Frames-Hexagon die.  I then die cut black card stock with the hexagon to layer.  The sentiment is also from Sweet 'n Sassy's Timeless Hymns clear stamp set.  I {LOVE} all of the wonderful hymn sentiments in this set.  We are so blessed that the owner of Sweet 'n Sassy, Korin Sutherland, creates these beautiful sets for us!
