Stampin' In Alaska

This week Elaine has challenged us to "A Trip Around the World" with our Mo's Digital images. I knew right away that I wanted to use Mo's sweet "Siku and Shiya" image. The image has been colored with Prisma Pencils and baby oil. Polar White Flower Soft was applied to the "fur" of their coats. The image was then cut out with Spellbinders Labels One and sponged. I just received the new Basic Grey Hopscotch paper pack which has been used as the designer paper layer. Other Cardstock is from CTMH and Stampin' Up! Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

This is my first time to join in the challenge over on There She Goes Clear Stamps blog . This week's challenge was wet embossing. I used CTMH black emboss powder on the washer/dryer image from the "Loads of Fun" set and colored with Copic Markers. This week over on the Sassy Cheryl Digi Stamp Blog our challenge is a snowy theme. I decided to use Cheryl's adorable skating snowman that you find over on the Paper Craft Planet forum. This was my first attempt using the Cricut limited edition Lacey Snowflakes cartridge. I really like how the individual snowflakes turned out. There are tons of detailed snowflakes to choose from on this cartridge! I used Basic Grey's Jack Frost dp as a base, added the Cricut snowflakes, colored the snowman with copics and applied SU Iridescent Ice embossing powder for some sparkle.
