Cupcakes Anyone!

This is a card I made with my sister about a year ago. She asked me for a picture cuz she wanted to make some more. Since I have been too busy to stamp much lately I decided to post it. This was one of the first Lockhart stamps I ever ordered from Ellen Hutson after I got hooked on cupcakes from reading TayloredExpressions blog all the time.
My calligraphy class is going really good. Every weekend I spend about 6 hours on sunday working on my homework project for the next week. I cant believe 6 out 10 classes are done already. I am really enjoying socializing with the others in class also. I will miss them.
For this card I dont remember who the designer paper is from. The cardstock is stampin ups regal rose and we colored it with stampin up markers. I think we made this card before I even got started with copic markers. The ribbon is stampin up also regal rose and we added some dew drops.

Stitched With Love!

I wasnt sure about this card but I really like how it turned out. I used a Lockhart Stamp Co stamp my justrite stampers. The cardstock is bravo burgundy and very vanilla. The designer paper is from making memories lovestruck collection. My pink satin ribbon is new from stampin ups new mini catalogue.
I colored the image with copic markers and glittered it a little. I hand faux stitched around the outline. I know the words are a little close together but it was the best I could do with the space I had.
Tomorrow is the 1st day of my calligraphy class. I am excited and nervous both.

Personalized Gift #4

I think I need to work on how I take my pictures. They always turn out a little dark.
This is for my aunt's birthday. Everytime I visit she is always making yummy stuff and always has on a cute apron. So I thought this was perfect for her. Of course I used my justrite stamps again. But her initials wouldnt fit. So I used my monogram alphabet set from papertrey ink. I am not totally happy with how that turned out but oh well. I used some Daisy D's designer paper I picked up at the beach last weekend and the new stampin up cardstock melon mambo. I layered the ds paper with with to help it stand out a little. The ribbon I got last year at Flourishes. I punched out the flowers and added a brad and put a decorative brad at the top. I also used my nestibilites. My hubby made some comment the other day about not using my cuttlebug. Little does he know I used it and my nesties on almost every card I make.
I paper pieced the apron with some more daisy d's and colored it some with my copic markers.

I also used my nestibilities and stampin up punch. The ribbon is stampin up also regal rose. I usd the SU Sincere Salutation set and the stitched background stamp.
I have 4 sets of cards this weekend and hope to make one more. But I stop every so often to read more of the 4th Twilight book.

A Day at the Beach!

Doesnt this card just make you wish you were lounging at the beach? I used Karen Lockhart stamp and sentiment. The Designer paper is Basic Grey Porcelain line. I didnt want to add to much to th card because the paper reminded me so much of sand. I had different little charm thingys from Michaels so I did a different one on each. Then added the ribbon. The cardstock is stampin up and is cameo coral and white.

Another Card with Cambrias sketch!

I really liked this sketch for the mushrooms because the are so small, so it worked perfect for it. I has this adorable mushroom paper and the mushroom stamp in by karen lockhart. You can get all her stamps at www.ellenhutson.com. Her online store is awesome.
The polka dot paper is the other side of the mushroom paper. I stamped "just because" at the bottom which is another karen lockhart stamp. Then I stamped the mushrooms again beside it in Tangerine Tango from stampin up. Oh, also this is my 1st time ever using Tangerine Tango and it has been out since last summer. It really went well with the paper. I colored the mushrooms with copic markers and used the stampin up scalloped square punch. The orange ribbon is from Close to My heart. I have had it for a long time. Orange isnt a color I use too much.

Cambria Turnbows Sketch Challenge WSC73

I decided to do a sketch challenge off Cambria Turnbows blog, stamp a little love baby.
This is her sketch WSC73. I used Karen Lockhart stamps and some old Close to My Heart yellow gingham. Also Making Memories Small Floral Flower Patch paper. I know sprin has just started but I want some sun and not all this rain. So I used the sentiment rain, rain go away.
This card was fun and quick. It was refreshing to make after taking half a day on the motorcycle cards.

Hello Everyone!

I made this card for
the Spring Flowers
Inchie Challenge at
Ellen Hutsons Inchies
website. I used this
Hydrangea stamp from Karen Lockhart.
That is the main rule
to use a Karen Lockhart stamp and have part of the stamp be on an inchie. I used
the With Gratitude Embossing folder with the cuttlebug and the lacy
embossing folder on the side was part of a four pack of embossing strips. I also used some purple rhinestones and glitter part of the flowers.

Another Cupcake Card

Hello! Happy friday! Oops, I guess its not friday for everyone but it is my friday! Yeah!
I made this card with the new Karen Lockhart violet cupcake stamp. I am a little disappointed it doesnt show as much as I would like tho. Dont you just love her stamps? And what better place is there to get them then at Ellen Hutsons store? Shes the best.
Supplies used were Basic Grey Euphoria, stampin up certainly celery and retired eggplant. (I really stocked up on that before it retired.) I also used papertrey ink's plum pudding satin ribbon. I added some crystal effects with glitter on the flower but that doesnt show up very well.
My stamps are violet cupcake and happy birthday by Karen Lockhart. Oh, also some dew drops.
Happy stamping!

Valentine's Color Contest

Here is a card I made for Ellens contest at http://www.ellenhutson.com/. It was to use any colors you think are valentines colors, use a karen lockhart stamp and use inchies. I love!!!!!!!!!!! Karen Lockhart stamps. They are fun, easy, elegant, quick. Whatever you want them to be. I love Ellens store also. She is very friendly, and helpful and they get your order out right away.
Supplies: Stamps-karen lockharts tulips
Inks: basic black
Misc: heart punch, inchies, ribbon from michaels, cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder, su punch, taylored dots from http://www.tayloredexpressions.com/ (another one of my favorites)
Paper: su pink piroutte and basic black.
Thanks for looking. I am learning about setting up my blog from my hubbies coworker and my next project is to learn how to make my pictures better. My daughter tried to show me when she was home but some things are just harder to absorb than others.
Oh, I also used crystal effects from su on my inchies and threw on some glitter but it literally looks like I threw it on, so that didnt work quite the way I wanted but it still adds some bling to it.
