TE Share, Joy Campaign Prize!

Prize Winnings!

Remember when I was making all those thinking of you cards for Taylored Expressions Share Joy Campaign earlier this year?? Well, they were able to collect 1944 cards to donate to the families that had lost loved ones.
I won one of the prizes for the donations. This is my prize:  Cloudy Days Embossing Folder, Rainbow Bright paper pack, Rolling Hills Build A Scene dies and Pocketful of Sunshine Stamp Set/Die Combo. The stamp set has a little pocket die included with it.

I hardly ever win anything so was really excited when this arrived in the mail today!!
Thank you Taylored Expressions!!

The Deconstructed SKetch #192

This is an anniversary card for my hubby. Our anniversary is this weekend. A big 29 years! Next year we are hoping to do something really special. This year no plans at all.
I made this card for the sketch . I used a stamp set from Taylored Expressions called A Perfect Pair Burgers & Fries. It was fun to color. I did color it with copic markers.
I always find it hard to make a masculine card because there just isnt enough fun colors to use. You cant use pink or flowers or fun embellishments. But it has to be done right???

I somehow didnt notice until I put the image on the card that it is a little crooked. Its hard to tell when your are stamping it because the stand a little crooked anyway.
Oh well, it was all done when I noticed so here it is!!

Hello Baby!

My hubby's boss just had their 1st grandbaby so I decided to make a card for them.
I went over to my sis's house to stamp and borrowed her Taylored Expressions onesie day.
I found this adorable little train paper (I just realized this one is upside down). I had just purchased the flowered paper also. The two polka dot papers are really old papertrey ink papers I bought way back when they first started selling ds papers.
I also used my brand new spellbinders die called Stately Circles.
I think they turned out pretty cute. For the greeting I used my Teeny Tiny Wishes set from SU.
Also when I was visting my sis we went to the new stamp/art store in Salem, Craft Warehouse and also Tuesday Morning.
The Tuesday Morning in Salem has LOTS of spellbinder dies for a really good price. It would be perfect for someone just starting out. Unfortunately, I had most of the ones they had.
But we had a really good day!

Cased TE Card!

I love this card. I was going to order everything to make it and realized it was a Monthly set from Taylored Expressions and couldnt order it. Then I remembered my big sis belonged to the monthly kit club and she had it. So she supplied the stamps and dies and I supplied the papers and we made them together.
You can find the original card here . It was made by Shannon White from Enchanted LadyBug Creations.
She does some really fun stuff!

At A Glimpse!

I totally cased this card from Taylored Expressions Gallery . I bought all the stuff for this card months ago just because of this sample card on their newsletter. All the dies and stamps are from Taylored Expressions and the papers are again the new SU papers. The Gingham ds papers and the new strawberry slush cardstock. I love this color. But the ink looks almost identical to Rose Red to me tho. I colored the image with copic markers and added some rhinestones and pearl. The butterfly is actually martha stewart but the rest are TE.

Your're Wheely Great!

This stamp set if from Taylored Expressions. I used the matching die to cut out the car. I also used some spellbinders dies. I was going to use more 70's type of papers but I couldnt find any to match what I had in mind. So I went with these papers instead.
I went onto the gallery at Taylored Expressions site and combined a few great cards I found there. This is a really great site for inspiration. Taylors dies are really easy to use. They match great with the stamps and now you can buy sets that actually come with the dies all in one.

Hoot Hoot Hooray!

This is another card I cased. No original ideas this last weekend. This is from the Taylored Expressions team. The set is Hoot Hoot Hooray. It comes with dies to match right with the set. I used some fun glimmer paper from Michaels with the owls on it. It also has caterpillars and frogs on the paper too and is very colorful. The border die along the bottom is also from TE.

Tea For Two!

This card was made with Taylored Expressions stamp set and dies. I love the doily lace die. I had to wait for it because it was out of stock when I first wanted it. I loooove it!
I used some new SU papers out of the new mini catty. These papers are called tea something also I believe. I wanted to make this a happy birthday card so I stamped across the bottom of the card!

Seasons Greetings!

This little mittens are dies from Taylored Expressions. I love how she has the plain size and then the little bit larger scalloped sizes. I wish more dies were like this. The snowflake die along the bottom is from TE also. I have added lots of rhinestones to this card.
You can find the card that I cased here . Its another card I have cased from Shannon White. She has some really cute cards.l
I pulled out some christmas papers from my stash to use. The only new christmas papers I have purchased this year are a couple from stampin up.

Lets Chat!

These cards were cased off Taylored Expressions . This link will take you right to the sample card done by Shannon White. She does awesome work. I have seen her work on several different cards I really liked. This set uses the Lets Chat stamp set and Dial In Style dies. I used different papers for my cards. I am making a card set for a friends birthday and she loves strawberries so I knew I wanted to use these papers. The card uses both sides of the paper the woodtone paper on the lower half of the card is the back of the strawberry paper. It is Pretty Party from Crate Paper. I found it at the store in Independence last month when we were on our way to the beach. The gingham paper is Quite Contrary. I cant find a whole sheet right now but there are great papers. They have a real wallpaper feel to them.
The phone has to be die cut twice for each one so I made each card with the phone opposite from the other. I also used a martha stewart border punch along the bottom of the card.
Taylored Expressions has the greatest dies and matching stamp sets. The dies are so easy to use also.
If you are one of my stamp club members you will be getting on of these cards in the mail for stamp club invites to, so I am making a bunch of these cards for two purposes.

Taylored Expressions!

I get Taylors newsletters regularly and every once in awhile I love everything and have to get it. This month (I think it was this month) I got several stamp sets and several dies. This card uses the wreath die and the Rose Wreath stamp set. So the wreath and phrase and its hard to see but on the bottom of the wreath are two roses layered with three leaves. These are all from this set. I colored them with copic markers and glittered them up. I also added some pink polka dot ribbon and embossed the white which are both from stampin up and the border punch at the bottom is a new one from Recollections. They have a whole line of stuff at Michaels and they are pink and cream. So I am loving the colors of them.

Taylored Expressions!

These little guys are from Taylored Expressions. I think they are so cute. They are stamped and then colored with copic markers. I used stampin up punches for the circles, martha stewart icicles punch and spellbinders for the image. The papers are more from the same ds paper packet I used on most of the cards. This is another card done for the troops.
I layered it with cranberry crisp. I was trying to use up some retired stampin up card stock.
The snow and the white brim on santas hat have some glitter added.

Case'd Card #2

Here is the 2nd card I cased from Taylored Expressions card gallery. All of the details are the same as the previous card.
Today I am taking a class in Beaverton. I havent taken a class for a long time. I think the last class I took was the candle class last spring so it has been over a year. This class is a Magnolia class. It should be fun!

Case"d Card #1

Here's the 1st card I cased from tayloredexpressions store's gallery. Visit her blog at http://www.tayloredexpression.blogspot.com/ and click on her store. She has a great gallery for all her sets. I changed the ribbon and the sentiment. I made 4 cards for the gift set with 4 sentiments, two of each cards. So there were 8 cards all together.
I colored the image with copic markers and used old olive card stock from stampin up and some gingham ribbon from cod wholesale.
I love this set from Taylor. It is CreativiTea. Becareful tho, some of the stamps are small and I have lost one already.

Casing from Taylor Expressions!

I totally cased this idea off the gallery on the taylor expressions store. Did you guys check out her stuff this week? I love it all. This is the box for a set of cards. I made 4 different cards, two of each design with 4 different sentiments. I also made a matching gift bag and gave it to a girl at work today for a going away gift. She loved it and so did everyone else. I changed the ribbon a little bit and changed all the words and how they were on the other cards. I had a lot of fun with this set. I made two of them. The box is totally cool also and it came from Taylors store also. Check her out. Her blog is http://www.tayloredexpressions.blogspot.com/ and the go to the store. I dont know the direct link to the store off the top of my head but she has a header for it right at the top of her blog.

I will post some of the cards later.

Cool New Stamps!

I just love stamps from Taylored Expressions. She had her new releases for this month. The frame on this card is from Creativetea. I love this set. It matches perfectly this spellbinders nestibilities set. Isnt it so cool. I found the idea for this card on her store gallery. You just go on there and pick the stamp set you want for lots of ideas. I changed the sentiment and color of ribbon and also added a flower instead of stamping one. I really think this is a very nice mothers day card. Very easy yet elegant looking. The papers on this card are from the yummy new papers that just came out from a new company called The Girs Paperie. I love this line of papers. They are delish. Taylor has it in one of her card kits but I wanted 12 x 12 papers and to pick as many of the ones I wanted. I first saw them on Michelle Woodersons's Blog Mish Mash. She used them also. I had to had them and she had a link to them that sent me to Two Peas In a Bucket's website. I bought a bunch but will probably end up getting more. They are beautiful.

Cupcakes!

I finally decided to use my cupcake border punch. I found this paper at craft warehouse and immediately thought of cupcakes. It took me awhile to find something to go with it but I like the way it finally turned out. The cupcake punch is from Martha Stewart and of course I had to use my nestibilites and a stamping up punch. The stamps are from a taylored expressions set called For The Love of Cupcakes. The designer papers are from My Minds Eye. The cardstock is stamping up Regal Rose and Gable Green. I paper pieced the bottom of the cupcake and colored the top with copic markers. I used white regular glitter on the frosting part of the cupcake and stickles on the cherry. Then for the table top I used one of my Smooches for the 1st time. I used a scrap with the border punch and one of the sentiments from the set for the inside.

This card was made using one of Taylored Expressions stamp sets. For The Love of Cupcakes. I used white, chocolate chip, so saffron and melon mamba stampin up cardstock. The designer paper is Bobunny A Gift of Love. I used my nestibilities for the ovals and colored it with copic markers. Its a simple card but sometimes simple is nice.
