Swirly Scribbles Easter Card!

I thought I was done making Easter cards and then found this card on Pinterest . It is so cute. I just loved it and decided I had to make some. I changed mine up just a little.
I love the Swirly Scribbles die set. It is so versatile, it seems like you can use it for every holiday.
I did it in two colors. Sweet Sugarplum and Pool Party. I didnt have enough Pool Party for all of them so thats why I went with two colors. I also used the Basket Builders Framelits for the grass and eggs.
I used the Sale A Bration glimmer paper for two of the eggs and Blushing Bride glimmer paper for the other one.

Easter Treat!

I made these cute little Easter Candy boxes. I found something like it on Pinterest and this is my version of it. The sentiment is actually the tip of the box. I sure love this little Easter bundle. It is so easy to work with and fun. All the images are from this stamp and die set. I spent quite a few hours in the last few days with this set working on the Easter class for tomorrow.
Everyone that comes to my Easter class is going to get one of these cute little Easter treats!

Easter Flowers!

This is one of the cards we will be doing at the Easter Class on March 23rd. I saw a card on pinterest that you can see here and it gave me the idea for this card. Her card was a totally different layout but so beautiful!
 I used the So Succulent bundle for the flowers and a die from the Detailed Floral Thinlits for the sides of the cards. The sentiment if from Suite Sentiments stamp set. I have also used the yummy new  glimmer papers that are only available until the end of this month as a Sale A Bration set. They are gorgeous. They are 6 x 6 and come in three awesome colors. Nailed It!

When I saw this card done in pink I just knew I had to case it! The original card came from Debbies Designs . She has some adorable cards. I changed it up just a teeny! This card was made with the Nailed It bundle. Comes with stamps and dies and if you also order the Hexagon Embossing Folder you would be eligible for one of the free Sale A Bration sets.

Color Combo!

I was asked to make some cards with Blushing Bride, Rich Razzleberry and Black. These are the three cards I came up with.
I used the Balloon Adventures and Balloon Pop Up sets for the two cards.  You can get these in a Balloon Adventure Bundle and save 10%. this will qualify you for one of the new Sale A Bration items or even one of the original ones.

Basket Bunch version 2!

Did I mention I just love this little bunny! I think he is just stinkin cute!! I love that there are stamps and matching dies and they are in a bundle!
I used the Cupcakes and Carousel dsp and Bermuda Bay and Very Vanilla Card stock. Also the new vanilla satin ribbon.
I used the sketch challenge from Mojo Monday for this week. But I didnt add one of the layers because my first layer was a little short and I just couldn't get the other layer to fit in.

I have also used the Playful Background set and Banners for you.

Basket Bunch and New Sale A Bration!

I got my new Sale A Bration items today. There are three items ( I have two of them) that are available from February 21st thru March 31st. I love these glimmer papers!! They are gorgeous. You get 4 of each of the three colors. Bermuda Bay, Sweet Sugarplum and Mint Macaroon.
For my card above, I just love this little bunny. I made this as a friend card, but it could be anything. I wanted something saying happy spring or something like that but couldn't find anything so I went with the friend card from the Suite Sentiment stamp set. Carousel Birthday!

This card is made using the Carousel Birthday Stamp set and the cupcakes are cut out with the Lift Me Up die set. I saw a card done by Pretty Paper Cards with these papers from Cupcakes and Carousels paper pack and decided I wanted to use them together and then I saw a card by Rambling Rose that I liked. So I put the two together for this card.

Another Special Reason!

This is my take on the sample in the occasions catalog on page 42. I also used the sketch from the sketch saturday challenge for the layout of the card. I still am loving this set! It is the Special Reason stamp set and Stylish Stem dies. You can get them in a bundle and save 10% on them.
I used Blushing Bride and Soft Sky on the flowers and then gave them some highlights with the matching markers.

A friend told me that she thought Valentines Day was like a friends day not just a day for sweethearts. So I decided to make a Valentines Card to send to a few friends. I saw a card similar to this on pinterest and she linked it to where she found it. So I took cased their ideas and changed it a little to make it my own.

I was thinking of someone special when I made this card because she asked me to do some projects with it. So this is my first one! Her favorite color is purple! So I used Elegant Eggplant, Wisteria Wonder and silver glimmer paper and foil sheets. The stars came out of the main image when it was die cut so I decided to save them and use them on this project!

Dragonfly Calendars!

Remember my picture awhile back with all the dragon flies?? Will this is what I did with them. I made this little easel calendars. The top background is made with the Hardwood background stamp.
I used coaster boards for the base of the calendar to give it strength. These went in the goodie bags that were given out at my catalog premier party on saturday.
I used the new dragonfly bundle, cut it out of watercolor paper to make it stronger and then used sponge daubers to color it.

I used the Special Reason bundle again out of the new Occasions catalog. I love the dies with this bundle. I have also used the Festive embossing folder and the Tin of Cards stamp set!

Dragonfly Dreamy!

I think this card looks a little dreamy! I have used Dragonfly dreams bundle for the dragonflies and sentiments. Falling in Love DSP and the So Detailed Thinlits. Also the yummy new ribbon you can get for free with a $50 purchase from the Sale A Bration catty. The pretty new embellishment on the right is from the occasions catty also.
Again I have used the Stitched Framlits. I just love those and can't help using them on everything!! That little stitching on the side just adds so much. To top it off I added some pearls to the dragonflies!

More Chickens! And Catalog Premier Party Info!

I had lots of time yesterday to play with all the new goodies out of the Occasions and Sale A Bration catalogs. Here is some of what I came up with using the new Hey Chick set! You can get this set for free by spending $50. I have also used the new egg cartons out of the New Occasions catalog. I spritzed them with Sweet Sugarplum and Bermuda Bay. You just mix some ink and alcohol in a spritzer and spritz away. You have to be a little careful because the alcohol smell is a little strong!!

For my card I have used the new Hexagon Textured Embossing folder. This is one of the new thicker embossing folders. I inked the embossing folder before adding paper to it and running it thru the bigshot. This gave the hexagons a little more depth. I am loving the gingham paper still, this time I used the sweet sugarplum gingham out of the Succulent Garden DSP pack. 

I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits on both of these. They are scheduled to be back in stock January 16th. I have also used another Sale A Bration stamp set called Delicate Details on this card.

So there is still time to sign up for my Occasions Catalog Premier Party on Saturday January 21st. It is at 10am and we will be doing 6 projects, getting a goodie bag filled with goodies and there will be prize drawings and lunch. The cost is $30. There are just a few spots left!

Special Reason Bundle!

I love this Bundle! It is the Special Reason bundle out of the Occasions catalog and it goes perfect with the So Succulent Paper pack also. The colors are great! When I first saw it in the catalog I wasn't too impressed. But when I unpacked it and it was sitting across the table from me and I saw the colors together in person I loved it. Plus I love gingham prints, (and polka dots, and plaid and stripes!!).
The bottom card I have seen all over pinterest in lots of different colors and prints but the top one I was just playing with and put it together! The colors are Calypso Coral, Mint Macaroon, Old Olive, Sweet Sugarplum, Tip Top Taupe  and white. I really like the Calypso Coral and Tip Top Taupe together. If you want something pretty but not quite as girly they are perfect together!
The dies with the Special Reason Bundle are the Stylish Stems Framelits! They are Amazing! I love them. You can do the flower like the lower card or use the framelit to frame the flower and cut it out. It works for both sizes of flowers and also their are the frame dies with it for the sayings so that is cool also!

Well, off to make more samples. Only two weeks left until my big Catalog Premier Party and I still don't know for sure which projects to pick until I have finished making samples! (If thats possible to finish!). I did get my main project for the goodie bags done yesterday so that is good!!! I have one goodie bag done also so at least I know mostly what I am doing for that so that is a relief!!!

My Dragonflies Have Landed!

I am making a project for the goodie bags for my Catalog Premier Party coming up on January 21st. These sparkly Dragonflies are going to be on one of the gifts. I have used the new Dragonfly dies coming out in the Occasions catty going live next week.
These little guys are much prettier in real life. I have cut them in watercolor paper and then used sponged daubers to color them with Island Indigo and Pool Party Ink. After that I brushed some Crystal Effects on their wings and spread Dazzling Diamond glitter on their wings.  For some extra
sparkle I added a few rhinestones down their bodies.
