RAINY DAYS!

I made three of these, two of them were january calenders. I figured by january we will be ready for some color when we flip those calenders. I wanted to use my new snowflake die from SU for january but I dont have any Tildas that fit winter. One or two christmas ones but not much(maybe I should get more tildas). I pulled out some really old papers with umbrellas (you can almost see them) and also used the Memory Box Petite Umbrella die. Added some flowers.
I really liked how bright it turned out. I have also been taking an online copic class. I used a technigue on the shading for this. Not sure about that yet. I only watched a little of it. I need to get busy on that. I did use some of what I learned on her face and hair also but as always with coloring it is practise, practise, practise.
I have also used the sketch from CLP sketch challenge

Cherry Tilda Again!

I love this little cherry tilda so much that I decided to use her again. I used some different cherry papers this time and real red cs. I used the same flowers and little cherry as the last cherry card. I used a nestie for the card base. Its just a front, its not on the back of the card. I love the floral oval nestie. It looks so elegant. I didnt do any challenges for this card tho.

February!

I had two more calenders to do for next year, January and February. I always try to make a card to match the calenders for some reason. This is the card I made when doing the Feb calenders. Now I am all done and we are already talking about the next year. The last two years we did were Maggies and next year we are going to do Lily of theValley calenders. So that should be fun.
I pulled out some really old Basic Grey papers and also really old SU  felt flowers. I used the sketch from The Sweet Stop. I rotated the sketch. Also the challenges I am entering are Just Magnolia Pretty in Pink. Its been along time since I have entered in Magnolia challenges. Crafty Catz 3-2-1 challenge.
Hope you will have time to go over and check them out also.

Cherry Tilda!

I used Cherry Tilda for this card. I love her little polka dotted dress. My papers are magnolia ds paper and cherry cobbler cardstock. The little cutie pie cherry sentiment is a sheet of punch outs from Bottle Cap Images Vintage Edition. I have colored her with copics and added the red dots with a glitter gel pen and the white dots with liquid applique. I added some ribbon, flowers and rhinestones and used an EK Success punch for the border. The little stamp around the edge of the image is from one of my Gelato sets.

Strawberry Season!

I think this might be Strawberry Tilda, I'm not sure. I dont really keep up with all their names. Sometimes they will stick in my head and other times not. I created her for a couple of magnolia challenges. The first one is from magnolia down under seeing double. I was going to put only two strawberries on but then the bow was just crying out for a strawberry. Hopefully that wont disqualify me. Then on Magnolia Stamp Lovers it was something fruity so I went with the strawberries. I made my card using the sketch from Papertake Weekly.
I hope you all had a great weekend!

Pearl Tilda!

I saw a card that I really liked at Scrappy Jans Blog  or she is also called My Little Pieces of Art. I really liked her card so I came up with one very similar. I totally cased her image and then used the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday. The challenge at Magnolicious Highlites is water. I think used a Mermaid and little fishy paper works for  that. Also at Just Magnolia there challenge is anything goes.
I am also entering  my card in the challenge at Little Red Wagon , they want wood on your card so the wine barrel works for that.
If you want some inspiration, you can check out all these sites. They are have some great cards to look at.

Magnolias Dragon

Its time for another year of calenders (I think I mentioned that already) but anyway this is my calender for October and a card to match. This cute little dragon is from Magnolia and so is the dragonfly die. I had to put dragonflies on it to match the dragon right? Bulls have bullflies and dragons have dragonflies. Anyway, I colored the image with copic markers. I cut out the dragonfly dies with white cardstock and then colored them witht the same colors as the dragon. I added glitter to the dragon and his flies. Since it is for October I went with a spiderweb border from Martha Stewart. I am sure there are lots of spiders and cobwebs in the cave where he lives. I used some ds papers. The top one looks like it has eyes in the design and the bottom one is from a SeaShell line and reminds me of the sea. I dont know if this is a seadragon or not. Then I used Spellbinder oval dies and ran them thru the cuttlebug with a bubble like embossing folder in case he is a sea dragon.
On the card it looked a little empty where the calender went so I added a sentiment with some stampin up punches. I think this guy looks a little sad so I went with a thinking of you sentiment. That way if I want to give it to someone I could put a lot of diffent senitments on the inside.
I have entered my card/calender in the challenge at Creative Inspiration anything goes.

This is my 1st try with this type of card. As you can see I must have gotten a fold wrong. But it was fun trying it. The designer paper is from Recollections. It can only be purchased at Michaels from my understanding. I paired it with Blushing Bride cardstock. The senitment is from Hero Arts and this is my newest magnolia. (One of them!). I also used my new martha stewart punch across the top and some mini flowers I punched out and scrunched around with a stylus and added a pearl to each and also added some ribbon.
I purchased my 1st batch of Lily of the Valley stamps this last week or so also that I cant wait to play with after I get them and some other new girls and some Easter stamps.
So stay tuned for some fun stuff. Too bad I have to work tomorrow and cut into my stamping time.

Also some pretty pearl drops. Alice just happened to have a color that matched my card when we were at the beach last weekend. I paired the Forever Fall paper with Riding Hood Red and Peach Parfait stampin up cardstock.

Thinking of You!

Tilda is just sitting around thinking of you!
I used this pink gingham paper again I just love. It is from Boxer Scrapbook Productions and is just called Dark Pink Gingham. The flowered paper goes so good with it and it is from Echo Park from the Country Drive collection. I used three marvy flower punches, one paper shaper and a stampin up butterfly punch, also some nestibilities. The sentiment is a magnolia stamp. I added some rhinestones and ribbon. Tilda is colored with copic markers and cut out. She is sitting on the ribbon.
I have made this for the following challenges:
Manolia Down Under-butterflies
Flutterby Wednesdays-open (must by butterfly, angel, or fairy)
Crop Stop-anything goes

I actually used this little fishing Tilda a second time. This is the total opposite from the other card I made with her. This is a totally girly girl card. I guess it could be more girly with some lace tho.
I used some papers I have had forever and just happen to pull out of my stash. I used a bubbly cuttlebug embossing folder to go along with the fishing theme. Also an EK Success punch with a few bubbly looking circles on it.

Cupcake Craft Challenge Shabby Sparkle
Flutterby Wednesdays Stripes. something with wings

Whats Cookin!

I found a new to me challenge to enter this week. The challenge is Red, Aqua and cream. I have been wanting to use this digital paper for along time and thought it would work for this challenge. I gathered a few misc brads too that I thought matched good. I love this little Tilda and the sentiment that goes with her.
So the first challenge for her is CMC Copic Challenge. In addition to the colors for this challenge above, you also have to color your image with copic markers. The owner of this challenge Suzanne Dean is a FABULOUS copic colorer and has great tutorials.
For the other challenges for this card:
Just Magnolia Whats Cookin?
Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog Red, White and Blue (mine are shades of)
Papertake Weekly Getting Cute (I think this tilda is very cute)
Stamp Something Embellishments (fancy brads)
I hope you all enjoy my card. It doesnt have as many embellishments as I like but I really wanted this yummy paper to show also.

Angel Tilda!

I dont really know the name of this Tilda but I think she is really cute. I colored her with copic markers and added stickles and glitter. I used magnolia paper, stamp and die. I have been waiting and waiting for some of the dies to be available and I grabbed some just in time, and then they were gone again.
I used a die also from Heartfelt Creations, and two Martha stewart leaf punches. This card is so much prettier in real life.

Watering Can Tilda!

This is ANOTHER cute Tilda. I think she is watering can Tilda. I bought the grass punch awhile ago planning on putting it in front of the fence. I really like how it turned out. I used some yummy magnolia papers and some lace ribbon.
I used the sketch from Magnolia licious Highlites, Crafty Catz- vintage, Magnolia Stamp Lovers-summer flowers, 2 sisters blog challenge-summertime fun, Ladybug Crafts Ink-Summer Birthdays, and Cute Card Thursday-lace. Totally Tilda-distressing. One last challenge Magnolia licious challenge blog inspiration picture.
I used some dew drops and cottage roses.

Fishing Tilda!

I am definately not a fishing fan but this little gal is so adorable who could resist? I didnt have any papers appropriate for fishing so I grabbed these. I could have done with something pretty and flowery but decided not to.  This little tilda looks like a tomboy so she gets plaid an boy colors.
I did decide to add some pearls and glitter because it was just a little too plain for me. With the pearls and glitter I was going for the Tomic Challenge but as usual I am a day late for that.
I used the sketch from sweet sketch wednesday, at creative inspirations their challenge is summer. Fishing is definately summery. I am also entering it in the Just Magnolia challenge Anything goes/shabby chic
I tried the dot effects around my image again. Still not as good as the big girls but you can only practise right? I made my flower with some marvy punches and a pearl. I saw some Martha Stewart flowers just like this and they were like $5 for 12 or something. So I decided to just make my own.

4th Of July Tilda!

I made this card for a special person whos birthday is July 5th. I havent ever made a patriotic card as someones birthday card before but this little Tilda is so cute, I just had to.
I used my new favorite spellbinders die, The Girls Paperie designer papers and real red and white cardstock. The flowers are from ALL That Scraps.
I have made this card to enter in the following challenges:
I used the sketch from sketch saturday
4th of July theme from Cupcake Inspiration Picture
Also for this card I tried the dot thing with the copic markers. I colored it with BG000 and then made dots with R46 and B24 and then went over it again with the BG000. It is very time consuming but it adds so much to the card. It looks like little fireworks going off. I also used a Happy Birthday from Peddlers Pack and sentiment for the inside from Stampin Up.
