Pink Flamingos!

I found these adorable slippers in Flamingo Jims at Rockaway Beach when I went there last weekend for a Stampin Up retreat!
We had a great time at the retreat! I had never been to this one before. It s at the Twin Rocks Friends Camp in Rockaway. It is a very nice retreat center.
For my flamingo card, my good friend Joan asked me to make a flamingo christmas card. So this is what I came up with.
The Santa hat from the Santa Suit stamp set and Santa builder die set (or get the bundle for 10% off). It fits perfectly on this card. I used the Fabulous Flamingo set and the Quilted Christmas Designer Papers. I added some snowflakes and rhinestones. I really like how it all came together.
I have another idea for a Flamingo christmas card so stay tuned for that!

Fab Flamingo!

This card is a little out of my normal range of cards. It was totally not what I was going for but thats okay. You have to step out of your box every once in awhile right??
I stamped the flamingo on watercolor paper with Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo and Berry Burst. Then I spritzed it with water.  I stamped the background with Crushed Curry and Melon Mambo using the Touches of Texture stamp set and spritzed it also.
I then added some rhinestones and enamel dots!

Another Fabulous Flamingo Cased Card!

I just love this Fabulous Flamingo set. It is so fun to work with. I cased this card from U-tube. The original person who made this is Stamping Jill or also Jill Olsen. She has some great projects and videos.
This card also has a different opening. It just opens in the center and the back of the card is flat like a postcard. Its a fun different card to make!

Another Fabulous Flamingo Card and Stampin Up Bonus Days are Back!

Here is another card I cased from Pinterest. My vellum didnt turn out as dark as I would have liked. Not quite sure why! I stamped the palm leaves in Emerald Envy and embossed it with clear. I used some more of the new yummy crinkle ribbon. I just love this ribbon. This is the Emerald Envy ribbon.

I got some more ribbons today. The Stitched ribbon in Cherry Cobbler, this will be great for Christmas. Also two more of the Ombre ribbons, love those!!!

Fabulous Flamingos Meet Coffee Cafe!

I saw a card on Pinterest with the flamingos on the coffee cups. This is my version of it. I just love the Lemon Lime Twist with the pink. It is so pretty.
I made this card thinking of my friend Joan who like coffee and flamingos and we meet for coffee from time to time.

Fabulous Flamingos!

I saw a You tube video making this card. It was made by Jill Olsen, who is a Stampin Up demonstrator. She has some great videos.
This card is made using the Fabulous Flamingos set. I have made several cards with this set I will be showing in the next few days.
The vellum is a little hard to see but the palm tree leaves are stamped in Emerald Envy and then embossed with clear embossing powder. The ribbon is the new crinkle ribbon also in Emerald Envy.  I just love this new ribbon! It comes in 4 colors, Emerald Envy, Peekaboo Peach, Berry Burst and Night of Navy. I think it is so elegant looking!
I just love this flamingo. I am wondering if when I stamp the detailed stamp in black I may be able to cut it out with my Brothers Scan and Cut machine. I am not sure but I saw some great videos using it with Stampin Up stamps!
If you would like to order any of these products just leave a comment or send me an email!
