Life Happens!

Here is another card with the great Coffee Cafe Suite! For the foam on this cup of coffee, I used the Sweetened Condensed Milk technique.
You can either paint Sweetened Condensed Milk on your image after you stamp it. Or you can pour some on a couple of paper towels and use it as an ink pad and stamp with it.
After you get the SCM where you want it you heat it like you would when embossing and then add some embossing powder to seal it a little and heat it again!
I think it worked perfect on my coffee!!

Fabulous Flamingos Meet Coffee Cafe!

I saw a card on Pinterest with the flamingos on the coffee cups. This is my version of it. I just love the Lemon Lime Twist with the pink. It is so pretty.
I made this card thinking of my friend Joan who like coffee and flamingos and we meet for coffee from time to time.

Coffee Cafe Suite #3

This is my third card using this suite. It is the Coffee Cafe Suite. It comes with stamps, dies and these great papers!
I just love this set! Its got the little coffee beans and everything. Also I just watched a video on cutting out all the little coffee elements on a piece of the DSP with my Brothers Scan and Cut machine. It sure would be nice to use that once in awhile!

Coffee Cafe #2 And Graduation!

Here are some photos from Kati's graduation on saturday! It was a great day. It ended up pretty warm but it was a beautiful day and not raining.

I have also posted another card from the Coffee Cafe Suite. I used some new papers. The little cup at the bottom left of the card was cut out of the papers with a matching die. I love that Stampin Up is making dies to cut images out of the DSPS.

Coffee Cafe!

I had a chance to play with the Coffee Cafe Bundle this week! There is a whole suite for it. Stamps, dies, papers. Also one of the dies works with the papers so you can cut little coffee cup images right out of the papers. Stampin Up has several sets like this in the new catalog. It is really cool!
On this card I actually was making my own background and got a little carried away with stamping. So my background actually looks almost exactly like one of the designs on the designer paper.
