Lighthouse Box!

I thought these papers were perfect for a card box and purse. Lots of people love lighthouses. I have had this paper for quite awhile.  I know I got it at Peddlers Pack but thats all I remember.

Pink and Sparkly!

It seems like everytime I make a purse or card box I say its my favorite. This one I used some flowers I glitter up a long time ago. I saw some somewhere and thought I can do that myself. The big pink flower has some white chunky glitter on it.
I dont remember where this paper comes from but I love it. It goes with several SU colors. I have paired it with Melon Mamba but in the past I have used crushed curry and I think Baja Breeze. You could also pair it with some greens.

Busy Busy!

I have been very busy crafting in my spare time lately. I have been getting ready for a bazaar.

Every time I do a bazaar I think never again. Everyone ohs and ahs over your hard work but it never sells.

But I am going to try it again. So I am making purses and card boxes for it.

This is one of my favorites. I love these papers.

We have an adorable little kitty KeKe. I know you all have heard me talk about him and I have shown pictures in the past. If I could make an avatar for him it would look just like this paper.

This paper is from Recollections from Michaels. I just love it.

I have also made a purse out of these papers.

I will be showing it later.

I have been having fun with some christmas cards and non christmas cards also.

So I have lots of fun stuff to come!!!

Blue and Yellow!

I really like these papers and the color combination. I am going to have to do something fun with it. Maybe a Tilda or something.
I had another order for cardboxes. I am telling you, I dont know how this gal knows so many people to give these too but I love the orders.
I havent had time to take pictures of my other cards yet so I will have them later this weekend. I have recently changed locations at work. I may have mentioned this already. I switched from 4-10s to 5-8's but my "8"  hour shift today was just shy of 11 hours. So I have been a little busy this week!

Vintage Flower Box!

 

This box was made with some papers I picked up at the store in Independence at the end of this summer on the way to the beach. I paired the papers with orange papers, ribbon and some pearls.

I feel this paper is very vintage-ish.

Butterflies!

Each of the four boxes I made this weekend was my new favorite. I love them all.

This box is another one made from all Recollection collection from Michaels again. The papers rhinestones and even the butterfly I used for the front flap of the box. I matched the papers with SU Island Indigo and Lucky limeade.

Pink Leopard!

I think this is one of my favorite combinations for a card box. Recollections at Michaels has some of the coolest stuff.

I have another order for boxes and purses so you will be seeing a lot of them in the next couple of weeks. I want to get them done this weekend and next so I can spend the long thanksgiving weekend making and getting christmas cards ready.

Elegant Card Box!

Here is another card box w/cards I made. I used this elegant paper by Best Creations Inc., called Mr & Mrs. As soon as I saw it I thought of card boxes. It would be great for wedding cards also. As usual there are 6 cards to go with it. Two each of three different sentiments.  As soon as my store is up and running it will be on it with some other boxes.

Yesterday we took a unexpected trip to the beach. It was gorgeous!!!! I will post some pictures of it later.

New Card Box!

We are doing card boxes for stamp club this month. The gals didnt want monograms so I am going with this style instead. There are 6 cards in the box. Two each of Thinking of you, Happy Birthday and thank you. (I know this little thank you is a little crooked. So the cards and boxes are all the same except no monogram. So I went with flowers on the top instead. I am working on another pink one and they turn out really pretty also but I am going to try handmade flowers for it because I am going to make them into kits for Peddlers Pack and want to make sure to use product that they sell there. Sol I am hoping to have that finished so but who knows. Its a really busy week coming up!

The Zebras

Here are the zebra card boxes I made. The black zebra and pink zebra. My new ribbons go great with these papers. These papers are made from recollections at Michaels. They are cardboard thickness of papers. The glitter is very nice on them. They have great texture also.

Leopard Card Box!

This is a card box I made. Kati placed a nice order with me. I have been working on 10 projects for her. I thought I was all done last night and she ordered the 10th one I have to make after work today.

I used this yummy paper again that I had used for a purse in the past. It is from Recollections from Michaels. The black parts on it are velvet. The ribbon is some that I ordered and just arrived yesterday. It is black with the iridescent shimmer to it. I layered the ds paper with black and natural ivory.

Hoo Loves You!

A friend and coworker loves owls. So I made her this card box set. I used this cute owl from The Greeting Farm. I think he/she is adorable. The papers are from a 6x6 pad from Crate Paper called Random. I added the flowers to the box and used Calypso Coral Ruffled Ribbon from Stampin Up.

She really loved it when I gave it to her.

Parisian Card Box!

I had an order for 4 more card boxes I worked on this weekend. One of them I was told the person it was for liked anything paris. For some reason when I think of paris I think of these colors. So I had an Eiffel Tower stamp that I stamped on the monogram, the insides and the envelope and did this set in light pink and grey with some black velvet!

New Style of Card Box!

I decided to do something different with a card box instead of initials. I used the Taylored Espressions set New Beginings (Ithink) its called and some Vintage Springtime paper from SU's mini catty last spring. I added some of my new flowers too. I really like how it turned out. Very soft and vintagey.

Our thanksgiving dinner yesterday turned out nice also.

Blue Box!

I know, I know, another card box. Sorry!
I like this blue glitter paper. Very pretty and you cant tell but the black is embossed with black stripes.
This bright blue ribbon matches great also. Dont you just love when the things you have match your project and you dont have to go out and buy more??
Maybe one of these days I will have time to make more new cards.

Pretty in Red!

Here is a red box. It has tuxedo black paper and red flowers. I like this one. It has red dew drops on top and a red flower on the front flap.

Black and White!

Here is one of the card boxes I did. I went for black and white with this one with just a little bit of Wisteria Wonder. I really like how it turned out. I did one more black and white with a little more color I will show tomorrow.

Card Boxes!

I received an order for 10 card boxes! So guess what I will be showing for awhile. I have been working on them for three days and am almost done. This is a really pink and black one I did a few weeks ago. I loove how this one turned out. The pink and black is velvet. Very nice.
