Reverse Confetti / SFYTT

This sketch gave me the perfect opportunity to use some of the amazing papers from the last release called Fun Times.  I thought these papers called for a celebration so I brought out my Boxes 'n Balloons stamps and stamped it with Wisteria Reverse Confetti Dye Ink.  For the square portion of the sketch, I created a shaker using the Scalloped Squares Confetti Cuts and filled it with some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Sadly this is the last SFYTT.  There will be a new and fun challenge soon!

Reverse Confetti / SFYTT

The sketch this month is CAS and right up my alley!  I started with a top folding white notecard and layered pattern paper from the Free Spirit 6x6 paper pad.  Using Royal Purple and Grape Soda Premium Dye Inks from Reverse Confetti, I stamped an ombre butterfly from Butterfly Dreams.  For all the smaller butterflies, I stamped them in Grape Soda Premium Dye Ink.  The butterflies were all die cut using the coordinating Butterfly Dreams Confetti Cuts.  I layered all the butterflies over die cut circles from Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts and added Sparkling Clear Confetti from Pretty Pink Posh.

Reverse Confetti / SFYTT

Is anyone else glad the holidays are over?  I am for one so glad to be back crafting for non-Christmas projects!  This leads me to this card today.  Fresh and fun!  

I've used the Berry Sweet stamps and Berry Sweet Confetti Cuts from Reverse Confetti with this month's SFYTT (Sketch For You To Try).  I jam packed all the little elements in there for the sketch along with that chunky long tag from Tag Duo Confetti Cuts (it's fast becoming my new favorite tag die set!).  A strip of pattern paper from Cheerful & Kind was perfect for this layout!  As accents for my flower centers, I used Nuvo Crystal Drops in Dandelion Yellow.  A twine bow finished off my card!

Reverse Confetti / SFYTT

I decided to change things up and create a LOVE card for the current SFYTT.  Using the sketch, I trimmed a piece of text pattern paper from True Love, into blocks and layered it over a panel of Midnight Cardstock.  Using the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts, I added die cut hearts from XOXO Hearts Confetti Cuts in Rose, Flamingo, and Piggy Bank Cardstocks.  A banner from Flowers for Mom Confetti Cuts (a personal favorite die set of mine!) was stamped with a sentiment from Crazy About You.

I just had to the use the adorable pandas from Miso Happy for this month's SFYTT!  When you need a quick card, these pandas are the perfect thing to use.  I loved this months sketch and it offered me a chance to use more of the pattern paper from the last release, Cheerful & Kind.  To make the woodgrain embossing stand out a bit more, I tapped the Sand ink pad over the die before running it through my Big Shot.

I just love the Monsterous stamp set and matching Monsterous Confetti Cuts.  I've used it atop a Topped Off Tag that was stamped with So Many Stars and white heat embossed.  For the vertical part of the sketch, I used the Tall Stripe Panel.  For the horizontal panels, I stamped Whole Lotta Dots onto Avocado cardstock and clear heat embossed and then added a strip of pattern paper from Fright Night.
