Reverse Confetti / Color Throwdown

CTD512

Hello!  Today is my last post as a guest for the Color Throwdown Challenge!
These colors are so tranquil.  I pulled out an older but awesome Confetti Cut from Reverse Confetti called Sand Dollar.

My background was created by loosely watercoloring Peeled Paint and Peacock Feathers Distress Inks over Tim Holtz watercolor paper.  I also added some flicks of the same color.  I die cut the Sand Dollar in white cardstock and blended in Pumice Stone Distress Ink at the edges.

I stamped my sentiment, from Hanging Blooms, in black ink and added some pearls for accents.  As a final touch, I added my panel with foam adhesive to a scored panel (every 1/4") of Iced Aqua cardstock.

Lil' Inker Designs / September Release Day 1 / Giveaway

Amy_Fall Foliage

Hello!
Welcome to Day 1 of the Lil' Inker Designs September Release!  This release is FULL of amazing dies and stamps for fall and Halloween......are you ready?  Guess what??  The whole new release is now available and can be found HERE!!!

Fall Foliage will be a fast favorite!  This set is filled with gorgeous blooms, leaves, and buds.  After white heat embossing all the images onto Bristol Smooth cardstock, I ink blended Dried Marigold, Worn Lipstick, Festive Berries, and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks over the top.  After arranging them over a white panel cut with the Stitched Woodgrain Cover Up Die, I picked them up with Press 'n Seal to be able to add some dimension to parts of my arrangement.  A simple 'thanks' die cut word, from Bouquet of Roses Die, was inked up in the same Distress Inks and added to my card.  As finishing touches, I added some white gems from Pretty Pink Posh.

Color Throwdown / The Stamp Market--Petal Patch

CTD510

Hello!
I am so honored to share a card as a Guest Designer for the Color Throwdown Challenge!  These colors are sure to get you inspired!

Again this week's colors are fall inspired and gave me a chance to use this beautiful layering stamp set from The Stamp Market called Petal Patch.

Actually, to create this card, all the supplies are from The Stamp Market!  I stamped a kraft panel using the Just Checking In stamp to create my own background paper.  I added a kraft die cut frame using Oh Happy Day Shaker Die.  I stamped and die cut my florals from Petal Patch and arranged them in the lower left corner.  My sentiment is 'thankful' from Lots of Leaves (yes, I used this last week too! It's that good!) and partial stamping from Friendly Bunch.

Color Throwdown / Lots of Leaves from The Stamp Market

Lots of Leaves

Hello!  I am so honored to share a card as a Guest Designer for the Color Throwdown Challenge!  These colors are sure to get you inspired!

This week's colors are fall inspired and are what drew me to use this new stamp set from The Stamp Market called Lots of Leaves.

I stamped them in red and orange inks and added the patterns in black ink.  I layered them over a blended area of Broken China/Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.  A stacked sentiment stamped in blue finishes out the colors for this challenge.  As an embellishment, I added a twine bow and some gold gems.

The last of the sketches........

So, I had challenged myself to use all of the Viva la Verve sketches this month.  There were 5.  Here is the last one and last day to submit them to SCS.  I especially liked this sketch with all it's layers!

I have to say that these Verve sketches are very addicting!  You will be seeing me use more of them for sure!  Here I've used the newest set from Verve:  Making a Statement.  My friend, Jen, and I fell in love with this set.  I love the sentiments, the flowers, the birdies, the coordinating dies!  My color scheme is loosely based from this week's Color Throwdown #157.

Another Valentine??

No, I don't have another LOVE card for you today although I have been enjoying making them!
When I saw the current color challenge for Color Throwdown,
I knew I needed to create a holiday card with these colors and get back into the season!

My flowers were die cut on the red cardstock and discarded.  The Joy flower is stamped on
white cardstock behind the red layer.  Fun technique!
The red layer was also ran through my Big Shot with the Linen Impression Plate
for just a little bit of texture but it's hard to see here.

Going to keep this short .........got lots to do today!!!

****I'm sending this over to the Card Creations: Favorite Occasions Week All Occasion Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.  Today is the last day to play along!****
