Reverse Confetti / CASology: Ocean

CASology

Hello!
Sharing this very CAS card for one of my favorite challenges:  CASology.  The idea is clean white space with one main image.  This card literally came together in 5 minutes!

I created this with an older stamp set from Reverse Confetti called SeasideMy octopus was stamped in an ombre ink from Hero Arts and die cut with coordinating dies.  The background was created by ink blending Evergreen Bough and Faded Jeans Distress Inks and die cutting with the Scallop Stripe Panel Confetti Cut

CASology / Guest Designer

CASology2

Hello!
So honored to be creating alongside the team over at CASology which is one of my favorite CAS challenges!  This week's Cue Card made me long for summer, warm weather, and the ocean!

I know creating a scene is a bit daunting to some.  I have a tip for you when you go to create a scene......keep it simple and scale down the dimensions.

Here I ink blended Dried Marigold and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks onto a trimmed panel.  Using the Waves on the Border Die from Technique Tuesday, I was able to pull in my waves using this awesome die.  I adhered my border to my inked panel and trimmed the sides.  I added some Copic colored fish from Olive the Octopus and a sentiment from Wendell the Whale.

Reverse Confetti / You are my Sunshine

Sunbean for CASology

Hello!  One of the design images I love in papercrafting is sun, sunbeams, sunshine, sunlight, sunset, etc, etc.  So when I saw one of my favorite challenges theme was "sunbeam", I had to play along!  I think it's because I relate sunshine to being happy and that it's going to be a good day.

Talk about clean and simple.......I took the Stitched Rays Cover Panel from Reverse Confetti.  I began blending Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink from the center out.  For the sun's center, I stamped the 'You are my Sunshine', from My Sunshine, in Sunshine Dye Ink from Reverse Confetti.  That's a lot of sunshine!! 😄  As a final touch, I added a few Buttercream gems from Pretty Pink Posh!

Pretty Pink Posh / CASology

CASology

Hello!  I wanted to play along with the team over at the CASology blog because they are celebrating 5 years!!!  It's one of my favorite challenges to play along with!  Congrats CASology!

The challenge was to create a CAS balloon themed card.  I decided to use the Fly Away Friends stamps and pair them with a sentiment from Fly a Kite.  My scene was framed using the Scallop Hexagons.  My sky background was done using the Mini Cloud Stencil from My Favorite Things (I love this thing!).

CASology

Hello!
I saw this challenge today over on the CASology blog......their cue card this week is WASHI.  Well.....I'm sure have plenty of it!  ☺

I wanted to play with this gorgeous pink, mint, and gold striped Washi tape.  I applied some of this striped Washi over white cardstock and die cut with the Layered Banner Duo from Reverse Confetti.  The rest of the card was simple layering of papers with a gold glitter diecut "hello" from Reverse Confetti.

Sweet Baby

Hi!
I am really trying to build up my stash of cards I don't usually make.  Today's card is all BABY.

I've used one of the Reverse Confetti Quick Card Panels from the newest release called Pina Colada.  I love the bold stripes on this one!  I've stamped, diecut, and colored the sweet lion image from Leaping Lions and attached it with foam adhesive.  The diecut baby word die from Fancy Words Confetti Cuts was diecut out of white cardstock that was blended with some Copics for an ombre look.  The rest of my sentiment (from Fancy Word Coordinates) was masked and stamped onto a thin strip of white cardstock and the end was cut at an angle.

To finish off the card, I die cut one star from Oh My Stars Confetti Cuts and added it to the banner.  Now look at those tiny tiny little star confetti......(these tied the whole card together).  They are from Butterfly Reflections.  ♥♥

Celebrate

Happy Saturday!!!  This has been a week of being mom's taxi to and from camp, nurse mom to a sick little girl, and some fun things in there too.  Today we are planning a swim day and I can't wait!  Kids will both have friends so mom can RELAX.  I'm not sure I know what that is!!!  :)

I thought I'd play along with the current CASology Cue:  Glow.  Here is how I was inspired.......I stamped a row of candles from Happy Everything by Whimsy Stamps in pastel colors.  To keep with the softer look of this birthday card, I stamped the sentiment in Slate Ink.  Do you notice the stitched curved border?  This is a new die from Pretty Pink Posh called Stitched Borders 1 and it's awesome!

CAS for CASology

Hi all!  It's been an exhausting week......won't go into details but I do have a CAS card to share using Whimsy Stamps.

I decided to play along with CASology this week as their challenge is "anniversary".  I used a little set called Feeling Fruity Additions for a little punny humor.  I stamped the inside of this card with Happy Anniversary and then added a few 4mm Sparkling Clear Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

CASology: Splash

Hi everyone!  Sorry I've been MIA.....took some blogging and crafting time off over Mother's Day weekend.  It was a weekend of beautiful weather so I mostly spent it outside at my kids softball/baseball games.  I am so proud of them....both teams are doing really well!

I had a little time to create last night and wanted to share this card I made for the current CASology challenge: Splash.

Using some new products from Reverse Confetti (did you know they celebrated their 1st birthday last week?  They did.....go check them out :) ), I created a little underwater scene for this adorable submarine image from Here We Go.  I used the Doin' the Wave Confetti Cuts for my waves/water.....this die is so much fun!!!  I love how clear stamps can be curved to be able to stamp them anywhere.....here I've curved my sentiment over the top wave.
