Hello Studio75 fans! It's Tracey here to share a shabby mixed media card featuring the gorgeous Studio75 Hello Spring paper collection along with fabulous chipboard from the store. The Up in the Air stencil by SnipArt adds amazing texture to the background as well.

What gorgeous papers to work with! I adore the birdhouse image, so used this Anemone Birdhouse Frame from the store along with the little bird from the Scrapiniec Spring Prodigy Bird Ave Set. These gorgeous flowers from Little Birdie coordinate perfectly with the background paper. The fabulous watercolor leaves are fussy cut from the Hello Spring 07 page.

A close-up of the flowers. You can see some of the flowers I fussy cut from the Hello Sping 06 sheet to tuck in around the edges of the cluster and stamens which I bunched together to add a bit more texture. The molded gear is brushed with gold art wax to coordinate.

I painted this sweet birdhouse portion of the frame with a wood grain to coordinate with the sweet birdhouse on the paper. I left the little bird untreated. The Scrapiniec chipboard hearts are painted in coordinating colors as well with this one strategically placed over the opening to the birdhouse.

The delicate flowers and leaves around the frame are painted and shaded. I adhered small rhinestones to the center of each flower using Bambino Glue. The background is stenciled with white gold icing paste using the fabulous SnipArt Damask Stencil.
Kwiaty i liście pocieniowałam i lekko podkolorowałam. Wszystko przyklejałam za pomocą kleju Bambino. Damaski z szablonu są wykonane z złotej pasty lodowej. 

I added a little cluster to the bottom corner that includes a snippet of Organza Rose Trim.

This sentiment from the Hello Spring 08 page is colored with Distress Ink and the heart is fussy cut from the 6x6" Hello Spring paper set. 

The card front is adhered to a 6x6" Blank Card from the store. I just adore these sturdy card bases that hold the weight of my mixed media creations so well.

Tips and Techniques

  

 One of the things I adore about Studio75 paper collections is that they are such complete collections including patterned paper and gorgeous images to fussy cut. Even the back of the package label includes beautifully printed paper including this design that I used as the focal piece for my card. The Scrapiniec Lily of the Valley Oval Frame is so perfect to surround the delightful floral image as well as a some lovely white dimensional flowers. Lily of the Valley are one of my favorite flowers and so perfect for a wedding card!
Jedną z rzeczy,które lubię bardzo w kolekcjach Studio75 jest to ze zwierają zarówno tła i jak i elementy do wycinania. Nawet tył etykiety tytułowej ma piękny wzór, który użyłam jako główny punkt kompozycji na mojej kartce. 
Ramka z kolekcji Lily of the Valley wspaniale komponuje się z całością. Wspomniana kollekcja tekturek jest jedną z moich ulubionych w projektach ślubnych!

 

 I tied a little four-loop bow from white twine to tuck in among the flowers.
Zawiązałam poczwórnie kokardkę z cienkiego sznurka, kokardkę umieściłam wśród kwiatów. 

 

 The focal paper is layered over another paper cut from the Hello Spring Collection and the edges of both are distressed to add texture and interest.
Dwie warstwy papieru postarzyłam, dzięki czemu uzyskałam dodatkową teksturę. 

 

A close-up of the top of the card showing a fussy cut flower and leaves as well as the chipboard frame. The frame is heat embossed with shabby white embossing enamel which includes flecks of gold and glitter. A bit of vintage lace is tucked under the fussy cut flower.

The Scrapiniec Open Mix Butterfly set has such sweet butterflies including this little gem. I heat embossed with white, then added pink around the edges to coordinate with the colors in the paper design. I used Bambino Glue to adhere Prills to the body.
Użyłam także jeden z motylków tekturowych Scrapińca, który przykleiłam na klej Bambino. Motylek pokolorowałam pod kolor papierów za pomocą pudru do embossingu.

 

More of the fussy cut leaves layered over bits of white lace. I also tucked in 1mm White Stamen from the store.

Zaczyna się przygoda / "The Adventure Begins" Mixed Media Card with Tracey

Hi Studio75 fans! It's Tracey here to share a sweet card with you featuring the fabulous

Berry Copse paper collection along with beautiful chipboard from the store.

The current Studio75 challenge is to create something for Mother's Day. Our daughter and her husband had their first child, a little boy, two month's ago. Being a mom is such a wonderful experience that I thought this sentiment that says "and so the adventure begins" would be perfect for this card that I created to celebrate her very first Mother's Day.

Tips and Techniques

The papers from the Berry Copse collection have such gorgeous, rich colors and designs as seen in this beautiful green background paper. I added a leaf design stenciled with molding paste and stamped opposite corners with an Agateria grille stamp from the store.

I combined succulents, burlap flowers and dimensional flowers to create a focal cluster. I heat embossed Scrapiniec Confetti Chipboard Hearts and Artistico HDF Cogs with shabby white embossing powder as well as a metal gear from my stash and tucked them in around the edges of the cluster.

For added interest, I tucked in a few Pistachio Stamen and then filled in with some green prills adhered with Bambino Glue. Don't you think this sentiment is just perfect for a first Mother's Day?

I simply adore that each and every Studio75 paper collection includes such gorgeous images to fussy cut. These leaves and berries are found on the 03/04 paper strip. 

The burlap flowers are lightly dry brushed with white gesso for a softer look.

More fussy cutting. You can also see that I tucked in a pearl and several sparkling art pebbles.

And one final close-up of the cog. I recently added a few bee charms to my stash and couldn't resist adding them here. They are silver, but I rubbed gold art wax over them so they would better coordinate with the other elements.
