Hello Studio75 fans! It's Tracey here to share a shabby mixed media card featuring the gorgeous Studio75 Hello Spring paper collection along with fabulous chipboard from the store. The Up in the Air stencil by SnipArt adds amazing texture to the background as well.

What gorgeous papers to work with! I adore the birdhouse image, so used this Anemone Birdhouse Frame from the store along with the little bird from the Scrapiniec Spring Prodigy Bird Ave Set. These gorgeous flowers from Little Birdie coordinate perfectly with the background paper. The fabulous watercolor leaves are fussy cut from the Hello Spring 07 page.

A close-up of the flowers. You can see some of the flowers I fussy cut from the Hello Sping 06 sheet to tuck in around the edges of the cluster and stamens which I bunched together to add a bit more texture. The molded gear is brushed with gold art wax to coordinate.

I painted this sweet birdhouse portion of the frame with a wood grain to coordinate with the sweet birdhouse on the paper. I left the little bird untreated. The Scrapiniec chipboard hearts are painted in coordinating colors as well with this one strategically placed over the opening to the birdhouse.

Tekturkę budkę pomalowałam we "wzorek drewniany" nawiązując do wzoru na papierze ;)
Serduszka śa pomalowane w kolorze dobranym do  brzoskwiniowych odcieni na papierach. 

The delicate flowers and leaves around the frame are painted and shaded. I adhered small rhinestones to the center of each flower using Bambino Glue. The background is stenciled with white gold icing paste using the fabulous SnipArt Damask Stencil.
Kwiaty i liście pocieniowałam i lekko podkolorowałam. Wszystko przyklejałam za pomocą kleju Bambino. Damaski z szablonu są wykonane z złotej pasty lodowej. 

I added a little cluster to the bottom corner that includes a snippet of Organza Rose Trim.

This sentiment from the Hello Spring 08 page is colored with Distress Ink and the heart is fussy cut from the 6x6" Hello Spring paper set. 

The card front is adhered to a 6x6" Blank Card from the store. I just adore these sturdy card bases that hold the weight of my mixed media creations so well.

Lawendowa kartka - "Follow Your Heart" - Mixed Media Card with Tracey

Hi Studio75 fans! It's Tracey here to share a new project with you. I've created a mixed media card featuring the gorgeous Lavender Morning and Violet Love Paper collections. I've also used lovely chipboard, stamps, trim and a stencil from the store. I adore the beautiful images included in the Lavender Morning papers that I fussy cut to use along with the dimensional flowers to embellish the card. These images along with the moss give a beautiful organic feel to the card.

Tracey tutaj z nowym projektem. Przygotowałam kartkę mediową z kolekcji Lavender Morning i Violet Love. Do tego użyłam tekturki, tasiemki i maskę ze sklepu.
Uwielbiam dodatki do wycinania z Lawendowej kolekcji, które zawsze łączę z przestrzennymi, gotowymi kwiatami. Dodałam także żywy mech. 

I like to have a variety of cards ready to use for a variety of occasions. This card could be used for nearly any event from anniversaries to graduations or even a birthday.
Lubię mieć zapas kartek na różne okazje. 
Ta kartka może być wykorzystana na różne okazje tj. zakończenie szkoły, urodziny czy rocznica. 

Tips and Techniques

 

I painted a Nest Frame and Confetti Hearts with coordinating metallic paint in purple and arranged dimensional flowers including a rosette cut from Organza Rose Trim and natural moss to created a focal cluster. The moss is adhered with Bambino Glue. I also fussy cut flowers and leaves from the Lavender Morning paper set to tuck in around the cluster. Aren't they gorgeous images?

Tekturki pomalowałam metaliczną farbą w odcieniu fioletowym. Dodałam wycięty kwiat z taśmy róże na tiulu i naturlany mech, który przykleiłam na Klej Bambino. Jak zawsze wycięłam kwiaty z paska z dodatkami do kolekcji, czyż nie są one piękne?

The green background paper is cut from the Lavender Morning 01 sheet to 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches and backed with a paper from the Violet Love 6x6 paper set in a lavender print to frame the card. The edges of the green paper are distressed using the edge of my scissors.

The background is stamped with an Agateria Grille Stamp in permanent grey ink, then stenciled with a Studio75 Brick Stencil using limestone paste. I dry brushed lightly with white gesso to highlight the texture, then spattered with teal color mist and white ink. 

A sentiment sticker from my stash is colored it with coordinating ink. I thought this was a perfect sentiment to go with the Scrapiniec chipboard Confetti Hearts cascading across the card.

 

 A little butterfly I molded, painted, and rubbed with gold wax.

Papier ten fantastycznie się sprawdzi jako baza pod mediową kartkę oraz ma przepiękny odcień turkusu. 

Spring is just around the corner, and I was inspired by the beautiful and fragrant flowers that will be coming soon as I created this lovely card.
Wiosna tuż tuż, moją inspiracją były właśnie pierwsze wiosenne kwiaty. 

Tips and Techniques

This floral cluster includes Mulberry Paper Magnolias, Roses and Rose Trim from the Studio75 Store as well a a few flowers from my stash.
Kwiatową gromadkę tworzą papierowe róże, magnolie, róże na tiulu oraz inne kwiaty z moich zapasów.

The Studio75 Blank Cards are nice and sturdy and a perfect base for this card.
Białe, grube bazy kartkowe Studio75 świetnie się sprawdzą jako baza kartki. 

This beautiful Anemone Animusz Chipboard Frame is heat embossed in pale gold, a quick and easy way to give an elegant look to chipboard.
Śliczną ramkę "Animusz" z Anemone ozdobiłam embossingiem w kolorze jasnego złota. 

The background is stenciled with texture paste and while still wet sprinkled with super fine glitter, then spattered with white drawing ink. Once all the background texture was dry, the edges were rubbed with light gold PanPastel.

Tło ozdobiłam szablonem i białą pastą strukturalną. Jeszcze mokry wzór posypałam drobnym brokatem, a następnie pochlapałam białym tuszem . Na koniec podkreśliłam brzegi PanPastel. 

***Tip*** 

When using a medium like pastels that can rub off over time, it helps to spray with a fixative.
Kiedy używasz medium takiego jak lekkie pastele, które mają tendencję do ścierania się, użyj fiksatywy dla utrwalenia projektu. 

A sweet little flower cluster in the corner. The diecut leave swirl is rubbed lightly with white gold art wax.

The Scrapiniec Confetti Stars are heat embossed with seafoam embossing powder then rubbed with vintage gold art wax.
Także Scrapińcowe gwiazdki zembossowałam na gorącą i przetarłam złotym woskiem. 

The microbead and Prills texture is adhered with  Glue.
