4th of July Treat Containers

Hi everyone!!
I'm here to share a project I've created as a guest designer for Stuck On U Sketches and this is perfect for our current July 4th/Canada Day linky party.

I've made a couple of treat containers for July 4th. These were real simple to put together, as I have the clear tubes in the Craftin Desert Divas shop. I've made the tags from the Tag Essentials Dies

My papers are from Doodlebugs Patriotic Picnic paper pad and the enamel star is from the Red, White and Blue Star Sprinkles. I love Doodlebugs so much I'm now carrying both in my shop.

To complete both tags I've added the stitched star which is from the Banner Dies and stamped a sentiment from Happy Celebrations and they were complete.

Hope you have a wonderful day.

Thinking of You

Hello.......Its Tracey here with you today.
Any thing with "Wings" is the challenge.

I'm really loving the Pop up feature on Artfully Sent cricut cartridge.
'Thinking of You' and the scallop card base are on the cartridge too.

I use a glue pen to outline the butterfly then sprinkled it with gold glitter.
I'm a bit lazy when it comes to decorating the inside of cards.....I usually just stamp a sentiment and image. I think I'll be lots more of these!

I'm a little sad as this is my last project for the Die Cut Team.
I would like to thank Nanne and Leah for having me.......its been an absolute pleasure working with you lovely ladies and all the other designers. A highlight for me was meeting Leah and her family last year when I was on holidays.
I look forward to catching up with you in Blogland
Take Care x

Summer Blues

Hello and welcome to this week's die cut challenge: Summer! I'm Vivian and am excited to share with you my summer-themed layout.

First of all I would like to explain the title, "Summer Blues". The photo was taken during the summer of 2013 and the "blues" refers to my nephew's blue eyes. I was trying to do something different with words instead of the same old thing.

Secondly, I can't tell you have much fun I had making this layout. It is loosely based on this sketch from Pinterest.  I enjoyed mixing shapes and digging thru my stash for bright colors. A while back I invested in several punches and definitely made use of them here.

Last, I went to MissKateCuttables for the sun and "summer" title. I really don't go there often enough. Her die cuts are just so fun and easy to use. The little cloud is actually from SVGCuts.

I combined Doodlebug Designs, Echo Park, and October Afternoon
on this layout. I just had way too much fun!

Sun is from MissKateCuttables.

Although the camera blends in too much to the white background,
I still really liked having it on my layout. No real rules in scrapbooking
anyway.

I dragged my sewing machine out for this. Can't quite pull
off the "messed" up sewing machine look. Oh, well.

Guest Designer

Hi everyone! I'm Tara from Craftin Desert Divas. I'm super excited to be a guest designer for

For today I've created a 3D Gable box I've cut from the Silhouette Store.

I love to make these cute little boxes to give treats in. I've decorated this box with my Garden Cuties stamps, Doodlebug Springtime Paper Pad and Doodlebug Sprinkles.

Here's a closeup of my box. I've colored in the image with my Spectrum Noir Markers. To finish it up I added a tag I also cut from the Silhouette Store. Then I stamped on a sentiment from the Garden Cuties stamp set, twine and a few more sprinkles and it was complete.

Have a wonderful day!!

Tara

Here is my Shabby little card

And here's the  'Arrow'
I absolutely love the 'Pop up' feature.......I'm not one for doing fancy folds with all the measuring, but this cartridge does it all for you....PERFECT for me! The scallop edge of the card is cute too!

Arrows Die Cut Challenge

Hey folks! Leah here today to share our last challenge for the month!
We have some crazy news to share with you
all next month, so make sure to stop in and see Nanne on June 5!
Today we share our new Die Cut Challenge
<<<
Arrows
>>>
We look forward to seeing what you do.
Remember, let's say you want to use some great stamped arrows,
you may do so, but please include some other die cutting
to your project and let us know what you did.
And onto my layout.

I decided to use arrows to die cut into the background paper. I also thought it was fun
to use this arrow pattern paper that I found. The arrows also help to highlight the area
with the photos by making a bit of a frame.

This lantern cut is a favorite of mine! It is so detailed and so fun! I carried it around in
my hand for awhile before working any further on this page! LOL!
Oh, maybe I should also explain my title...my kids called Yosemite, Hiking Gosemite.
The name kinda stuck so that's still what we call it, even with kids that know the right name!

I also got one more arrow in using this fun camping badge die cut.

So now, me share our Top 3 from the May 8 Sketch Challenge.
I also want to apologize for the linking issues!
Thanks for trying to get them sorted out and still sharing with us!

Die Cut Challenge: About My Home

Hello, it's Helen here :) Today I'd love to share with you a project I created for this week Die Cut Challenge: Home Sweet Home.

This card I created using my Silhouette Cameo and the phrase is from Lori Whitlock design.

First I drew a rectangle with size 4.25 inch x 5.5 inch. Then I opened the phrase and resized it to fit inside the rectangle.

Then cut.

I added on the card base from American Crafts card. I used Tombow Multi Mono Liquid Glue. The finer the tip of the glue pen is the better :)

I finish the card with the red heart enamel from Close To My Heart.

You still have time to play along with us this week. Please go HERE to link up your project. Have a fun crafting day!

Simple Pleasures

Hey Everyone, its Tracey here to share a
a layout I have created for the "Home Sweet Home" die cut challenge. One of my favorite things to do around my home is spend time in the garden! Its Autumn in Australia  and all my Camilla's are in full bloom, they looked so pretty with the beads of water on them just after it had rained.

Country Life cricut cartridge was used to cut the title 'Simple Pleasures'. I made the butterflies with paper clay.

The feather and chicken wire are also die cut. I really love the embossed background.
For more details......please visit me at here.

Hope to see you join us for this challenge

this sweet birdhouse image and knew it would be perfect
to go with the photo I wanted to use of my parents.

Oh ladies! Before we go, thank you so much for sharing

Ever so thankful Mom

Hello, I'm Vivian and welcome to this week's die cut challenge. The challenge is simply "Mom". Of course, with Mother's day right around the corner there are just so many possibilities.

Over a year ago I discovered the awesome "smooth and swirly" file from SVGCuts. I've only used it once and this week's challenge gave me the opportunity to use it again.

The patterned paper is Teresa Collins' 6x6 "Life Emporium".

Thank you for stopping by today!

SOUS Die Cut Challenge: Happy Mother's Day

Hi! Helen is here wanna share my project for Die Cut Challenge this week - all about Mom.

This time I made a watercolored card with Rose die cuts on it. I cut the Rose Lace Flourish out of White Daisy Cardstock with my Silhouette Cameo. First, I rezied them in 3 sizes and the cut them. After I cut the flowers, I trimmed the leaves off. Then I trace the flowers on a piece of watercolor paper. I started coloring inside the rose circles using Watercolor pencils and blended the colors using aqua brush, then I decided to add some light blue.

Once the paper was dry completely, I added the die cut roses using Tombow mono liquid glue using the fine tip.

On a strip of vellum, I heat embossed the sentiment from Happy To Be Friends stamp set with Ranger  Princess Gold Embossing powder and then added it on the watercolored paper.

I hope you to see you playing with us this week! Link up your project here :)
