Thinking of You Card & Have Faith Treat Bag by Amber

Hello everyone! It's Amber here, today I'm sharing a fun thinking of you card and treat bag for Easter. I

used a "Thinking Of You" sticker from the We've Got Your Border/Pastel sticker sheet , a "Have Faith" sentiment  sticker from the Sentiment/Shine Your Light sticker sheet, a 4" x 6" Lattice Printed Kraft Bag, and some Light Pink Jute Twine from the SRM Stickers Shop to create my card and matching treat bag.

I started my card by folding an A2 sized white card base in half and adhered some fun printed patterned paper to the entire front half of my card. Next I cut a piece of white cardstock to fit the upper half of my card base and die cut the bottom with a stitched wavy die. I stamped my large Easter image from Northwoods Rubber Stamps in some Memento black ink and colored all of the images in with some Spectrum Noir Markers.

Once I had all my images colored I added a "Thinking Of You" sentiment from the We've Got Your Border/Pastel sticker sheet and tied on some pink jute twine above my sentiment.

I love creating treat bags to match my cards, I chose one of the 4" x 6" Lattice Printed Kraft Bags for my project today. There are a ton of fun ones to choose from in the shop. Check them out HERE. I folded the top part of my treat bag down, slipped my "Have Faith" sentiment onto some pink jute twine, and tied the  twine around the treat bag. This bag is really quick and easy to create, you could make a whole set of these in a few minutes.

Thanks a Latte by Lesley

I don't know about you but I love cute little stamps and designer paper with diagonals! I am in love with Jane's Doodles new Coffee Themed Stamp Set called Coffee Time! Oh boy is it fun to colour! So I stamped the little cup and masked it to create a "latte" focal point and coloured the cups with my Copic markers.

The sentiments in the set are just perfect for a thank you gift and this one is going to a wonderful colleague of mine! I added some pencils to the gift and some other small goodies will fit in the medium sized kraft bags. I stamped the sentiment right onto the kraft bag with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I added some charcoal twine to the bottom of my card!

I hope you feel inspired to create a little gift set for a coworker or a friend. February is a month of love and kindness! Spread a little joy!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Mini Calendar & Die by Shantaie Fowler

I have a sweet little mini calendar set to share with you today that can easily be made in multiples for the upcoming gift giving season.

I started with a simple sheet of 12X12 kraft cardstock cut to 5.5" X 12 and scored at 6".

SRM Stickers Blog - Mini Calendar & Die by Shantaie Fowler - #minicalendar #calendar #deskcalendar #die #months #stickers #lace #ecru #twine #kraftbag

From there I cut a 4"X 5.5" piece and scored it at 1"-2" 3" to create the easel base. Embellished with papers that inspire you and add a layer of ecru lace, ribbon and gold shimmer twine.

SRM Stickers Blog - Mini Calendar & Die by Shantaie Fowler - #minicalendar #calendar #deskcalendar #die #months #stickers #lace #ecru #twine #kraftbag

I applied each calendar month to coordinating papers and cut them using the mini calendar die and my cuttlebug, I then attached them to 3"X 3" squares of cream cardstock and added  the calendar months up top for added boldness
{ I love this look!} I punched a small hole in the set and placed a brad to hold them together, {A kraft bag would be great to store them in too!}
Now stow the upcoming months inside the easel and clip the current month to the front with a border sticker embellished clip.

Now you are ready to make a couple or check off your "what to make?" list!  Thanks for stopping in, and as always have a great and crafty day!

So many fun ways to decorate these fun SRM Stickers Kraft Bags.

I love stamping the new SRM Stickers Clear Stamps on the Kraft Bags with colored ink. The ink absorbs perfectly. I would recommend putting a scrap piece of paper inside the bag to absorb any ink so it does not bleed to the back. I also colored the flowers Copic Sketch markers. I think any inks would work perfectly on these Kraft Bags just remember to put that scrap piece of paper inside and you are ready to create.

Chalkboard Kraft Bag by Cassonda

Hi SRM crafty friends! Cassonda here today to share with you this cute little kraft bag I made using the new Chalkboard Markers. Here's how I did it.

First I punched some 2" circles out of thick cardstock to create astencil. Then I used the Easy Chalkboard Marker to color in the circles on the kraft bag (I placed a small piece of chipboard inside the kraft bag so the black wouldn't soak through.)

SRM Stickers Blog - Chalkboard Kraft Bag by Cassonda - #kraft #kraftbag #twine #punchedpieces #stickers #sentiments #spring #doiliy #EASYchalkboardmarker #chalkboard #janesdoodles #clearstamps #twine #DIY

Next I took the Bistro fine tip white chalk marker and some cute Jane's Doodles Stamps (Life is Good and Home Sweet Home) and colored the chalk ink right on the stamp. After the black had dried I stamped the white right on top. This was very easy to do and clean up was a breeze. And who can resist those butterflies and clouds! :)

Last step was to decorate my bag with a SRM Silver Doily and to wrap my kraft bag with some ribbon, a bit of twine, flowers and other other embellies. The Happy Spring sentiment sticker on the 1 1/2" white punched piece is the perfect added touch.

I hope you enjoy and put to use some of these chalkboard markers. You can cover a big surface with the black pen or just a little bit...the choice is up to you.

Valentine Banners Treat Bag by Lorena

Hello, SRM friends! Lorena here today and I'm so happy to be back on the blog after all the Christmas craze! Today I have an idea for decorating the SRM Kraft Bags so they are perfect for packaging a flat Valentine's treat or gift. I used the larger bag size with a coloring book or perhaps a tall Valentine's card in mind.

SRM Stickers Blog - Valentine Banners Treat Bag by Lorena - #kraft #bag #stamps #stickers #borders #twine #valentine #treat

The first step was stamping rows of hearts with a light pink pigment ink. This kind of ink shows much better on kraft. I love the look of patterned kraft bags, and with the SRM kraft bags you can stamp your own custom designs! How fun is that? Hearts, chevrons, stripes, polka dots...
Once all the stamping was done, I created a bag topper with red cardstock and secured it to the bag with a bit of double sided adhesive tape on the inside of the cardstock. Use just a little strip, so the recipient can easily open the bag.

SRM Stickers Blog - Valentine Banners Treat Bag by Lorena - #kraft #bag #stamps #stickers #borders #twine #valentine #treat

With the topper in place, now comes the fun part: decorating it! I wanted to show you how versatile the SRM border stickers can be, so I used the We've Got Your Border/Valentine stickers in different ways and not just as borders. First, I adhered the lovely banners border to a piece of red cardstock, trimmed them and adhered on the topper. Next, I also adhered to a piece of cardstock the hearts border that comes in the same sheet and fussy cut just the hearts to decorate the banner. Cute!!!

SRM Stickers Blog - Valentine Banners Treat Bag by Lorena - #kraft #bag #stamps #stickers #borders #twine #valentine #treat

Finally, I used another border to make the sentiment, and adhered Blossom baker's twine (pink and white) to the top of the banners so they appear to be "hanging" from the twine.  And there you have it! I hope this project inspires to give your SRM border stickers much more mileage. Oh, and anohter idea! This bag would be perfect to pack some stamped coloring sheets, and the new SRM clear stamps from Jane's Doodles are perfect for this! Just stamp a few sheets with different images and let them blank for the kids to color them :)
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hi SRM Stickers friends!
Stacey Schafer here sharing a Back to School Teacher Sharpie Gift Set!

I've said it before, but I must say it again...SRM Stickers makes gifting EASY!  I adore all of the fun craft bags and containers that are ready to embellish!

I used one of those awesome Embossed Chevron Kraft Bag decorated with a 4" Round White Lace DoilySay It With Stickers/Teacher, and a little Solid Denim Twine bow.

Here's the SRM supplies you'll need to create this easy peasy teacher gift.

This idea is great for back to school for my boy's high school teachers!  Teachers love SHARPIES, especially in fun, bold colors.  They would also make a great Christmas teacher gift or a teacher thank you gift any time of year.

Sunny Days & Lemonade by Diane

Today we welcome Diane Jaquay to the SRM Design Team!  Diane hails from Pennsylvania and her style is perfection!

Prior to the Design Team Call I was not familiar with Diane's work but when I saw her blog I was hooked and I knew immediately that I wanted her to be a member of our team.  I was so tickled to see her first project, a sweet packaging idea using SRM's large Kraft Bags, Doilies, SRM Borders and Twine!  She made these packets for her neighbors to welcome summer!  What a sweet treat!

To make these treat holders Diane started with an SRM Kraft bag that she folded and sewed with a zig zag stitch on 3 sides to form a pouch.  The 4" round doily is the perfect size to decorate the front of the pouch, and she just loved the way the Kraft color and doily looked together.  On top of the doily Diane placed several PTI Circle Scribble die cuts to look like the sun, then she topped it all off with a "sunny days & lemonade" sticker from SRM's Sticker Sentiment/Summer, with a green scallop trim across the bottom from SRM's We've Got Your Border/Bright.  Love how Diane used 3 strands of Mandarin Orange Twine on her project for added impact.  Looks great!

SRM Stickers Blog - Sunny Days & Lemonade by Diane - #kraft bags #twine #stickers #summer #gift #borders

Diane made several of these and thinks she'll give them to a few of the Mom's with young children in her neighborhood as a way of saying "welcome summer"!  There are so many things you could put in these pouches, and so many ways you could decorate them. What ideas will you come up with?

It's in the Bag! by Shelly

Shelly Kurth has created a very fun gift bag using SRM's 4 x 6 kraft bags, Made By Labels by the Dozen and SRM Bright Borders.

To create her little bag Shelly used cardstock and ran it through her die cut machine.  She used inks and stamps on the flowers and butterfly.

SRM Stickers Blog - It's in the Bag! by Shelly - #kraft #bag #labels #stickers #borders

Shelly cut the Label "Made with love" sticker in half so it does not stick out from the bottom of the popped up patterned paper.  Don't forget the foam squares!

SRM Stickers Blog - It's in the Bag! by Shelly - #kraft #bag #labels #stickers #borders

And to finish it off, she added sequins to the flowers and near the butterfly.

Easy peasy!  What a perfect little gift bag for any time of year.  Put a gift card inside and you're done!

Christmas Labels Greetings by Roberta

Roberta Rosi loves SRM's Labels by the Dozen and thought it would be fun to create lots of little Christmas goodies using the Christmas Greetings sheet.

Roberta loves the look of Kraft paper with Christmas colors.  She first created 6 mini cards simply decorating a double kraft cardstock with the stickers, a little snowflake, a bit of bling, some matching green and red baker's twine and little red bells.  Perfection!

With the same set of stickers, she decorated SRM's Merry & Bright pencils with Christmas Sentiment Labels.  These could become a fun place card at your holiday table or they can be used to decorate packages.  Roberta added a bit of twine and little bells to the pencils too!

And then Roberta continued to create using SRM's 4" x 6" Kraft bags.  She embossed them with a fine pin dot.  She added a banner with the Labels by the Dozen and closed the bags using a small wooden stick decorated with a snowflake and bling.  And don't forget the twine!

Put them all together and you've got lots of fun goodies for the holidays.  How would you use them?

I'm using lots of these Labels by the Dozen this year.  They are so adorable and the perfect finishing touch to cards, gift wrap or even layouts!  And after Christmas there are Labels for year round use.  See them all HERE

I love all these great Christmas wrapping ideas.  Thanks Roberta for the inspiration!

Alice in Wonderland Mixed Media Bag

Angélique Jarrier wanted to create a gift bag that was magical using the theme of Alice in Wonderland. The result is this beautiful and magical Mixed Media project that would be a treasured keepsake for any lucky recipient.  Wonder what she'll put inside the bag?

SRM Stickers Blog - Angélique Jarrier - #bag #gift #mixedmedia #alice

For this project Angélique used one of SRM's 5" x 7 1/2" kraft bags.  She loves them since they have great resistance with her Mixed-media techniques that she loves to make.

SRM Stickers Blog - Angélique Jarrier - #bag #gift #mixedmedia #alice

And she also used a SRM Fancy Sticker Sentiment in the Thinking of You design.
You can use these clear stickers on almost any surface and use almost any ink or paint.  They have great resistance too.  I love the way the fancy sentiment is used on the bottom of Angélique's gift bag.  The clear sticker blends in with the decoration by adding a little fancy to the story of Alice in Wonderland.

SRM Stickers Blog - Angélique Jarrier - #bag #gift #mixedmedia #alice

Now let's take a look at more beautiful details of this project.

SRM Stickers Blog - Angélique Jarrier - #bag #gift #mixedmedia #alice

The bottom of the bag is worked in white paint with a small point stencil and distress inks. Angélique also stamped on the bottom.

The tag is also worked with paint and a small point stencil, but to give a bit of contrast and relief, she placed a piece of paper doily on the tag beneath her beautiful collage.

SRM Stickers Blog - Angélique Jarrier - #bag #gift #mixedmedia #alice

The finishing touches on Angélique's projects are always so fun and whimsical.  Don't you love the  cat poised at the top of the bag seemingly observing all of Alice's escapades!

WOW!  Thanks for all that inspiration Angélique.  Your work is so special and magical.
