Watercolor Spring Bouquet Card by Emma

Hello there!  Emma here today to share a sweet and easy Spring card using SRM supplies.

After a long hard winter here in southern Ontario, I'm sure I'm not alone in looking forward to Spring!  (As I'm typing this, it's actually snowing outside again, so yes, REALLY would like to see the end of that as soon as possible..)

So to start this card, I stamped some flowers onto watercolor paper from the SRM "Just Believe" stamp set.  As some stamping ink reacts with water, I recommend a waterproof ink such as Versafine or Ranger Archival.  I wanted to use a colored ink, so for this I used "Warm Sunshine" crisp ink by Altenew.

To color the flowers, I used the Watercolor Twist pencils by Marvy, and a waterbrush.  It makes it so easy to get a nice soft watercolor effect.

Once this was dry, I fussy-cut the flowers out of the paper and set aside.  I adhered a couple of pieces of co-ordinating patterned paper on a white card base, then used a Kraft embossed paper bag.

Inside the top of the bag, I cut freehand some green 'leaves' and arranged them.  I then adhered my watercolor flowers on top of the leaves to make a Spring bouquet!  I tied some jute string around the bag for an extra fun element.

As finishing touches, I added 'Hooray!' from Sticker Sentiments "Thinking of You" and 'Spring' from Express Yourself "Easter" stickers.

So there you have it, a very cute card to send to a friend who is happy that Spring is here (or almost..)!
Happy crafting,

~~ Emma ~~

Easter Bags by Shelly

Hey y'all! Shelly, here.
Today, I'm swinging in to share some fun and easy Easter bags with you. And they happened to be perfect for kids, too! ;)

I started with choosing my patterned bags, in this case I chose the polka dots in purple, turquoise, pink, and yellow. After I used some felt to make some 'peeps/bunnies' and they attached them to my bags. I then added a little sticker sentiment to my bags, along with a few sequins.

So simple, right?!...These easily can be filled with candies, little games/toys, a coloring page and crayons, etc. So many possibilities! I left my empty for now because I don't want my kids seeing anything. ;)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

Easter Mason Jar Centerpiece by Jenn

Hello, Jenn back again! This time with an Easter centerpiece/gift idea using everyones favorite (well at least mine)...mason jars! These are quick cute centerpieces that can be made in next to no time with just a few SRM sticker essentials.

To start I am using a quart sized mason jar, I filled mine with Easter grass, jelly beans, and a chocolate bunny. Now comes the fun part...I chose to decorate with a scrap of fabric to cover the lid, and a sweet bow out of jute twine. Using a few Easter stickers I decorated the outside of the jar. I also though it would not only make a cute centerpiece but also a gift to give, so I created a tag using SRM stickers and markers.

I hope you enjoy this sweet festive idea may it bring a little joy to your Easter table. Till next time stay creative and keep sharing your fantastic ideas over on social media using #srmstickers #srmpress. Follow me on Instagram @creativegurl85 for more creative ideas

Easter Bunny Gift Bags by Giorgia

Hello SRM friends, Giorgia here.
Today I have for you an idea for cute Easter gifts for kids. You can also make this DIY with your kids to have fun together, it is not complicated at all.

Turn SRM kraft paper bags into the cutest bunny butt ever!

To create the bunny ears you need to cut a deep V shape at the top of the paper bag.
Now fill your bag with Easter chocolates and hot glue the pom pom towards the bottom of the bag to make a bunny tail. Then tie your bag at the base of the ears with bakers twine or jute twine and add a gift tag decorated with SRM Easter stickers.
So cute and easy!

Until next time,
ciao, Giorgia.

Hello Spring Bunny Treat Bags by Shantaie

Hello!  Shantaie here today with something fun for Spring!

SRM is celebrating Spring and I immediately think of bunnies and baskets, lush green lawns and delicate flowers when spring is mentioned. I made a set of treat bags to fill Easter baskets or to hand out as a cheerful gift.

SRM Kraft bags were used to create a sweet treat container. I cut the bunnies with the Silhouette cameo using this design by Sarah Bailey super cute, and quick to put together.

Next I stamped "hello spring" using SRM seasonal planner clear stamp set and embossed it with black powder.  I love that font!

I made 5 of these filled with easter goodies for my nieces and nephews Easter baskets 3 blue and 2 white and pink. to seal the bag closed ...you know so I don't get tempted to grab a craftroom snack or anything, I used a label sticker from the labels by the dozen bright blank  and labels by the dozen everyday brights.

I hope you enjoyed these adorable little treat bags, have a great and inspired day!

Happy Easter Hybrid Project Life Layout by Shanna

Hello SRM friends, Shanna here today with a springtime Easter layout in anticipation of Easter 2018!   I am a Project Life/pocket page scrapbooker mainly, but here lately have been enjoying making hybrid layouts that combine a PL layout with a traditional 12x12 layout.  I am in love with the marriage of these two!  For me it's the best of both worlds, because sometimes there is a single picture or two that I really want to highlight, ESPECIALLY with holidays.

I decided to "scrap ahead" and create a layout that will highlight this coming Easter's festivities.  I loved pulling all of the different elements together for these pages!

Here is a look at the traditional 12x12 scrapbook layout...I am really enjoying all of the layers! The doily added some visual contrast with all the squared edges going on in this layout as well.  Easy-peasy :)

For the traditional 12x12 layout I pulled stickers from the Year of Memories/2018 and Express Yourself/Easter stickers sets.

I also used a mini calendar sticker and circled the date!  Such a fun way to journal the date!  I had fun creating bunny ears above my sticker sentiment with some pink jute twine that I unbraided for a single piece.  Hippity-Hop!

Next up, here is a closer look at the pocket page layout (Project Life format). I am a big matchy-matchy person....so the 2 layouts make my crafty heart happy! This layout pulls together the same sticker sets used in the traditional layout, so the coordinate perfectly!

I had a lot of fun embellishing the different cards..I discovered a new (at least to me!) technique to use my fabulous jute twine for....Rosettes!!!  All I did was spiral and twist a single strand of the jute around in a circle to make these whimsical little flowers!

Here is a larger version of the jute rosette with a dainty yellow button for the center :) The Easter eggs sentiment comes from the Express Yourself/Easter stickers set as well! I also took a close up of the smaller one...I did a tighter spiral for the smaller ones, but the larger one lets the "ruffles" from unbraiding the jute totally shine!

Another fun combo of  Express Yourself/Easter  and Year of Memories/2018 made for a quick and cute journaling card. A small piece of jute finished off this card nicely!

Have you ever "scrapped ahead"??

Thinking of You Card & Have Faith Treat Bag by Amber

Hello everyone! It's Amber here, today I'm sharing a fun thinking of you card and treat bag for Easter. I

used a "Thinking Of You" sticker from the We've Got Your Border/Pastel sticker sheet , a "Have Faith" sentiment  sticker from the Sentiment/Shine Your Light sticker sheet, a 4" x 6" Lattice Printed Kraft Bag, and some Light Pink Jute Twine from the SRM Stickers Shop to create my card and matching treat bag.

I started my card by folding an A2 sized white card base in half and adhered some fun printed patterned paper to the entire front half of my card. Next I cut a piece of white cardstock to fit the upper half of my card base and die cut the bottom with a stitched wavy die. I stamped my large Easter image from Northwoods Rubber Stamps in some Memento black ink and colored all of the images in with some Spectrum Noir Markers.

Once I had all my images colored I added a "Thinking Of You" sentiment from the We've Got Your Border/Pastel sticker sheet and tied on some pink jute twine above my sentiment.

I love creating treat bags to match my cards, I chose one of the 4" x 6" Lattice Printed Kraft Bags for my project today. There are a ton of fun ones to choose from in the shop. Check them out HERE. I folded the top part of my treat bag down, slipped my "Have Faith" sentiment onto some pink jute twine, and tied the  twine around the treat bag. This bag is really quick and easy to create, you could make a whole set of these in a few minutes.

Hippity Hoppity Easter Bag by Shelly

Hey y'all! Shelly, here!
Today I'm sharing a fun Easter bag with you!

I started with using SRM Stickers new patterned bag. In this case, I chose to use the 'dots' bag. You can fill these bags with anything you like! From baked goods to candies to little toys, the possibilities are endless! :)

Once I filled my bag, I folded the top down and set aside. I then made my tag, which was so easy...I used a SRM Stickers Easter tag sticker and place it on white cardstock and then trimmed around it. Simple, right?!... Going back to my bag, I folded a white doily over the top piece and then finished things off with some twine and my sticker tag. Easy peasy, right?!...

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

Celebrate Shaker Card by Amber

Hello SRM fans! It's Amber here, today I have a shaker card to share. Recently I have been loving and drooling over all the fabulous shaker cards I have been seeing on social media lately. For some reason that is beyond me I have never created one before today. I had lots of fun creating this fun A2 sized shaker card. Below you will find a few step by step instructions you can follow along with to create your own shaker cards.

Step 1. Cover a white A2 sized card base with some patterned paper.

Step 2. Choose a coordinating piece of patterned paper and cut it slightly smaller then your card base.

Step 3. Die cut or punch a circle or any other shape out of the upper center part of your smaller patterned paper panel.

Step 4. Flip your patterened paper panel over and add some double sided adhesive all around your die cut shape.

Step 5. Before attaching the acrylic take your die cut panel and center it over your card base. With a pencil lightly trace around your die cut window. This will make it easy to center your sentiment.

Step 6. Adhere a piece of clear acrylic to your die cut pattered paper panel. Set aside.

Step 7.  Use the pencil lines you drew in step 5 as your guide and add your sentiment to your card base. I used a clear Celebrate sentiment sticker from the Sentiment/Birthday sticker sheet.

Step 8. Using the pencil lines as a guide again adhere some foam tape all around the outside edge of your pencil lines.

Step 9. Add a handful of sequins to your card base in between your foam tape.

Step 10. Adhere your die cut patterned paper panel with the acrylic to your card base sealing/locking in all your sequins.

Step 11. Add a cute little fussy cute image to the front of your card. I used Easter Basket Anya from The Greeting Farm to complete my card.

That's it, you now have a fun little shaker card. I hope you enjoyed my card today. Thanks for visiting!

Patterned Spring Bags by Tobi

Hello there! It's Tobi here with some cute gift bags for Easter and/or spring.
We don't celebrate Easter, especially since moving to China, but we usually give little gifts of our favourite candy (mini-eggs) or baked treats to each other! My boys love getting these kind of presents, so I thought I'd make a cute little bag to conceal the contents....

I assembled my supplies and got a colour-scheme going. This is usually the way I jump-start my creativity if I don't have any ideas - which was the case today. Colours are inspiring to me and I can usually work quickly after choosing a scheme.

I coloured an image that will serve as one of the elements on the bag. I made the colours muted intentionally so that the image can be used on top of any bag - regardless of colour.

Here are the bags, one for each of the people in my family!

I kept the design elements the same but just changed the colour of the bag! It's a really easy way to personalize a design without a complete re-design!
