Dies To Die For (DT) Bundle Girl With Winter Branch

Hello peeps, and a happy weekend to you!

Dad continues to improve, he had another hospital visit yesterday, and they are pleased with how things are looking.  He has two more visits scheduled but (keep your fingers crossed) if they go well and the wound is healing as it should, we are hoping he will be discharged into the care of the GP surgery.  That will make life soooooooooo much easier for him.

Anyhoo, I've not made many Christmas cards yet this year, normally I would have started in June, so panic mode is setting in a little bit.  There may have to be a flurry of snowflakes soon.

Lovely things used

I had to get my stamping platform out for the background stamp as it is a biggie, and I cannot get an even coverage just with an acrylic block.  Himself reckons it is because I am too short to get enough pressure on it!!!

That's me done for today - I need to be doing battle with a gammon joint and a selection of winter vegetables.

True Love or Fabulous Friends (DT) As You Like It Challenge

Hello peeps, Thursday again, and that means another new challenge from the

This time our theme is True Love or Fabulous Friends.

Rather oddly, although family never make a comment on the cards they receive, I soon hear about it if I miss an occasion with one, go figure.  However, friends on the other hand always appreciate the time and effort a handcrafted card takes, and have been known to say "I am getting one of your cards aren't I?" which always feels like a veiled threat somehow, so I really do make more for friends because I know they will be going to a good home!

Bits and bobs on this one are
Stamping Bella - Bundle Girl With Snowdrop
and the matching Cut It Out die
Whimsy 6x6 papers - Pretty Pastels
Tonic top fold pop up border die
Not sure about the sentiment, or even where I got it from, but it's lovely
Heart punch from Hobbycraft
Image painted with Distress Inks (ReInkers)

Our sponsor for this challenge is LILI OF THE VALLEY

Hope you can join us!

As You Like It (DT) Favourite Flower

And another month ticks by, another month closer to Spring!  It's AS YOU LIKE IT day and, thinking of Spring, our theme this time around is Favourite Flower (and please explain your choice)

I do have more than one favourite flower, but for sentimental family reasons, this time I have chosen a Dog Rose.  I love the simplicity of the flower, it's delicacy, it's wildness, but it's ability to still look absolutely stunning.

for this little cutie I have used
and an older sentiment from My Favorite Things

Bundle Girl and her rose have been painted with Distress Inks (ReInkers)

Bundle Girl With A Snowdrop (DT) Dies To Die For

After finding a coating of snow on my car the other evening after work I thought I should have a dose of Spring for you this morning.

My mum's garden has hundreds of these now, and if you are a fan of Countryfile you will see them featuring a whole festival of these tomorrow night.

Yes, it is the beautiful snowdrop.

I've seen my teamie Annette using the Nottingham border for a while now and had been drooling over it, so when I saw it was on SALE on the DTDF website it was like a sign, I knew the time had come to purchase it for myself!

Little Bundle Girl and her snowdrop (yes you can get pink ones) has been coloured with Zig Clean Color Brush Pens.

I think we could all do with a few signs of Spring right now.

Hugs
