DTDF (DT) Sweet Honey Bee

Happy 1st July folks!  Cripes, halfway through the year already, so that is six happy months I have been DTing for the DIES TO DIE FOR blog!

Today I am bringing you a dose of sweet summer stickiness.

I love this cute little girl, and she was so much fun to colour with the Distress Inks (ReInkers).  The ARF stamps all have a LOT of hair, so if you love colouring hair then these stamps are the ones for you.  My hairiness was done with the help of a variety of brown toned Polychromos Pencils.

Last Day of Spring

Well, that's it, today is the last day of Spring, so tomorrow will be Hello Summer!  No, really, summer.  Days of endless blue skies, hot sun, ice-creams, school holidays, Wimbledon, strawberries and cream, wasps ....... honestly, Summer.

Anyhoo, to celebrate the final day of 2016's Spring, I'm bringing you this:

and the rubbish doodling is all mine

I was going to mask this little lady to stamp the words but in the end I fussy cut her

and laid her over the top to get the positioning how I wanted it

So, that's me for now,  I'm about to head outside into glorious sunshine.  Just where did I leave my umbrella, shower jacket and wellies .......

Some Sunshine

Morning all, happy April!  After the recent stresses and strains, and also the yucky weather, of the last few days I thought it was about time I brought some sunshine to my blog.

I have painted her in my brightest Distress Inks (ReInkers) and her hair is Polychromos Pencils

Papers are from the leftovers box but I think the stripes are Little Sizzlets (that dates them!)
