As You Like It Challenge (DT) Floral Or Gingham

Hellooooooo to anyone out there in the wonderweb world, here I am
again to tell you about this fortnight's new theme over at

and this time it is your favourite of
floral or gingham

It wasn't an easy choice but I have gone with the gingham option this time as it
worked so well for paper piecing the ribbon and also for framing
the image

I've used an old Wild Rose Studio stamp which is
mostly painted with Distress Inks (ReInkers) and I have paper pieced the parcel ribbon
I've used Sunny Studio Pastel Ginghams 6x6
and a combination of MTF Die-Namics Happy Words and Happy Everything dies

Sweet Birthday Wishes (DT) Dies To Die For

Hello peeps, here I am, on this rather warm weekend.  I know it's June, and it is meant to be warm but it has gone from freezing to boiling so fast that I haven't had a chance to shed my winter coat yet.

Speaking of shedding, Rosie (my tabby cat) has a boyfriend (Meep, dark, handsome, dangerous) and it was his human's birthday this past week.
Rosie told me what to make - it had to have a Meep on it.

Now, the little kitty came from the BB New Best Friend set (which is no longer on the DTDF website, but does seem to still be on the MFT site) but there are loads of stamp sets with small cats that would work equally well.

Images painted with Distress Inks (ReInkers).

Have a super weekend - don't forget the Factor 50 cream if you're out in the sun (we're not used to it!)

Hugs

Christmas Cheer (DT) Dies To Die For

Morning all.  How are we today?  I spent all week in the office for work, and I am absolutely pooped now.  Not being allowed to use the bus means having to drive into town every day, and traffic levels are definitely increasing.  There was a time when I wouldn't have cared, I'd drive anywhere, but these days I am less confident and really hate being stuck in jams.  Don't laugh, but it is hard on the knees too with all the gear changing, the other night I caught 14 red traffic lights (yes, 14 of the damn things) and my clutch knee was exhausted by the end of it all!

Anyhoo, enough of my ramblings, here is today's little dose of festive:

So for this one we have:

I can't remember where the red edging paper came from but suspect it is an older MFT pad.

The snowflake die is one I treated myself to from Simon Says Stamp, it is one of their own brand dies.

Oval dies used are from Crealies.

Image painted with Distress Inks (ReInkers)

Twinkly gem from stash - I bought loads from W H Smith when they were on Sale.

Wish (DT) Dies To Die For

Hello peeps, a little later than usual but we have had huge excitement watching a shrub being removed!  Our house is one down from a junction, which makes getting out of our drive a little hairy at times as all the roads on the estate were designed to be curvy (intended to slow traffic, but really messes with visibility).  Our old neighbours decided that it would be a good idea to grow a hedge on the boundary of their garden, right alongside the junction - well, they weren't the most enthusiastic gardeners in the world, so the hedge got higher, and higher, and higher, until you simply could not see any cars waiting to pull out into our road, and they couldn't see us either because of the way the road bends.  The wife managed to get her own car hit when she was reversing out by someone coming round the corner who simply couldn't see her because of her own damned hedge.

Our new neighbours, who moved in a few months ago, have been slowly dealing with the garden and this morning I woke up to the sound of a chain saw and.......... yaaay the hedge has gone!  We can now see up the road and, more importantly, we can see the road junction, and people can see us, so no more holding your breath as you leave the driveway!

Anyhoo, today I have something very simple for you, and no coloured image in sight.

For this I have used:

The stitched circle die is MFT DieNamics A2 Stitched Circle - I bought it from DTDF when it first came out, but the set wasn't on the website for long, so sorry about that.

Oh and yes, the Happy Birthday is heat embossed.

Hugs to all

Please be aware that there may be a little delay in you receiving your order, Tracy is doing her best but is working alone until her sister is allowed to return to help with picking and packing the orders.  Be kind, be patient.

Chevron Accents (DT) Dies To Die For

Morning all, are you ready for a hot one?  Make sure you take care of yourselves, and keep hydrated.

You might need a stiffer drink now - something a little out of the ordinary from me today, there isn't a stamp in sight!

For this die-cut masterpiece (!) I have used

Well that has my nerves tingling!  I think I need to reach for the paintbrush.....

Hugs to all
