Rug

 Hi Everyone

Today I share with you a rug I have Crocheted.  

As it is winter now, the tile floor is very cold when I do my daily exercises, hence making myself a rug!!

It is a Waffle stitch and I used very chunky wool.  So it is quite thick.

I backed it with some non-stick rubbery stuff I bought at my local China store.  I used a big running stitch to stich it in place.  Not the neatest but it serves the purpose.

I am heading over to UK in the morning as my BIL passed away on Sunday last, so going to spend some time with my Sis.

 Good Morning

There was no craft on Friday as the shop was shut for a long holiday weekend, both Saturday and Monday are holidays here in Spain.

So I thought I would clear afew cards from my files, getting ready for the New Year!!!

This idea came from one of my Groovi ladies.  She had seen this style on Pinterest or Instagram so I thought I would have a go.

Just punch some hearts and arrange in a tree shape.

Very quick, easy cards but still looks good.

Gift Bags for Choccy

 Hi Everyone

Todays Not A Card is Gift Bags

I bought a pad of these from my local Craft Shop, they are from Crafters Companion.

So obviously, they are all flat so all I had to do was glue down one side and the bottom and thats it, done.

They are a decent size too when completed, about 4 x 6 x 1.

Sunday again and I have had a busy week crafting.

I have joined afew collaborations for December so busy with those.

Also, getting all my Christmas gifts for my groups sorted out, cards written and getting organised.

Anyway, here is this weeks challenge card for my Craft Group.

This is the card I made for my Groovi Group on Tuesday.

A theme of Flowers & Frames.

.

The flowers are punched and the leaves are a Clarity Die and a Groovi plate, and obviously the frame and sentiment are Groovi plates.

I have also started baking my own bread and here is some delicious spicy squash soup with a couple of slices from my homebaked baguette.

Do any of you bake your own bread?

Crochet

 Hi

Here is another Crochet shawl I have completed for the charity.

Beautiful, soft, white yarn I bought from the pound shop in the UK.

I prefer to work in rounds instead of back and forth as I never know how much yarn I may have to compkete some projects.  It may turn  out as a Pram blanket or a Shawl if I have enough .

This pattern is from Alison Russell HERE and I didn't even have to do a border as that is how it ends, perfect.

Wow, these Sundays arrive very quickly.

We had visitors this week.  Johns son, wife and  their baby boy came over for afew days and they even went in the pool.  Way too cold for me but the baby loved it, he is about 8 months old.

Not A Card

Well, I have got over my 2nd cataract surgery and now have to wait for the all clear then able to get new glasses.  I'm making do with an old pair at present as my current prescription  is no good.

I released a You Tube video last week, a collaboration I  participated in with Rach & Bella crafts

There are discounts on her shop for the month of November with some lovely papers and kits.

I made some Christmas Tags with  a window.

The pocket could be used for a gift card too.

I still give all my Craft Group a gift each week and here are two lots.

The first ones contained a tube of Polo Mints

And these have a box of fruit Tictacs.

I decorate with some of my stash that I make.

Sunday is the day I show the challenge I set for my Craft Group.

Although we didn't have a meet at the shop but instead, we went for a meal for one of the ladies Birthday.

I still give them a challenge as I show it on my Facebook page too.

I  have been busy this week making Christmas cards, both for my own use and two boxes to go in my hairdressers and beauty shops.

Winter Wonderland for MAWTT

Moving Along With The Times Challenge this month is

Winter Wonderland 

I used a large aperture card and added a Groovi scene backed onto black card.

I coloured a little bit  on the back and added Stickles on the front for snow.

Today I have a Mini Envelope Bellyband for one of my Junk Journals.

3 Little envelopes with a strip over to keep them closed and the strip holds with a mini magnet.

Here's one in a journal.

I added a little dangle charm at the bottom.

I have a You Tube video on making these.

It's fun making the mini envelopes too as these can be added to the front of a card to hole a secret message.
