I,m back home after a wonderful visit with Rick, Lorien and the girls.

Saturday just gone was the Design team day for Taylormadecards4U.

I used some pretty Christmas images to make a Notebook and a couple of cards.

I do have a video  to show these,

Home and Groovi Class

 Good Morning All

I am back home after my visit to Ricks.  I had a wonderful time with them all and my 1st ever Christmas day with them which we had on Saturday.  A lovely Christmas lunch cooked by Lorien and we exchanged gifts too which was wonderful.  It was great to see the girls open the pressies I bought them and we also had a great time making crackers and I bought them two Crystal Art cards to make for their Mum and Dad.

It is my Groovi class this afternoon but this is what we made at the last one-

I think they did really well.

This is what we are attempting this afternoon.

This is one I made very quickly yesterday, hence the branches are not decorated very much.

It is not stuck together so  I may add some glitter to the branches and then use it for the top of my very small Christmas tree.

Watercolour card and Happy Birthdays

Good Morning All

Hope you all had a good weekend.

Nothing new here really but I believe you in the UK are all hearing horror stories about us in Spain with the virus.

I,m not one to spout off about politics but this really annoys me, Boris enforcing 14 day quarantine for people travelling back from Spain.

We have our face mask wearing enforced, unlike UK.

We have nowhere near as many cases as UK.

I could go on for ages but I wont.

Firstly let me wish my younger son a Big Happy Birthday.

And it is Hollies on Friday.

Missing these guys so much and goodness knows when I will see them again

Back to crafting 

Another water colour card today.

Very quick and easy and fairly CAS

Very hot here so taking alot of my crafting into the living room where it is cooler as we have a ceiling fan in there and when the wind drops, we put the AC on, sod the leccy bill, better to be comfortable!!!

Making lots of embellishments which will be shown at a later date.

Good Morning All

I got back home on Friday evening after a lovely visit to my Sons and Johns.

Whilst I was with John (JND) we talked about my die challenge I did for myself back in 2015. 

 I challenged myself to use a die set or  die from every single die set that I owned.

He has challenged me to do it again but with a difference.

As I am doing an online course for Journal Therapy, he challenged me to do a Journal page each day showing a die from a different set on each page.

Of course I had to agree, partly because it will make me catalogue my dies again and also, I am going to get rid of some that I will never use again.

So, I am going to make myself a Journal, and decorate each page with a die cut.

So now I am getting my thinking cap on, lots of ideas in my head,  so watch this space.

It will probably commence in January and if anyone wants to play along and showcase their dies by making cards or boxes or pages etc, we will give a prize, both John and I.

Meanwhile here are afew pics from my time the my gorgeous grandaughters.
Tess loves dressing up and has a great selection of outfits.

WE had a lovely winter walk in the woods.

I bought afew bits at the craft shop for them to paint.

When Hollie and Tess were here the week before last, we had a short time crafting and Hollie always likes to play with my Groovi stuff.

She is very good and this was her make while she was here.

All her outlines were very good and as I wasn't watching her when she started colouring, she started on the front which is the wrong side for parchment, so 3 leaves were done  on front and 3 on the back.
It still looks OK though.

I told here I would make it into a card for here to give either to her mum or her other Granny for Christmas.

Here it is.

Isn't her outlining very good??

I think we have another Groovier in the family.

Groovi Christmas

Good Morning All

Here are afew Christmas cards made with my Groovi plates.

I wish I had coloured the second one abit more, I only coloured the stars in yellow.
 I made these a while ago when I first bought these cute plates.

They are matted onto dark green card although it does look black  on the pics.

And this is Hollies Christmas card, she will be made up that I have put her name on it.

Lorien studied art and make up at Uni and look at these two sweeties.

I cant wait to see them in a weeks time.

More Scarves

Good Morning All

After showing my knitted scarf HERE my blog friend Karen knitted one too, she wasn't sure at first but then told me she found it easy, which it is.

This is her's which I think looks wonderful and looks great worn to the side. She has done garter stitch for the main and  stocking stitch for the criss cross and it looks great.

This is another one I have done for Hollie so it is abit smaller and I have done it all in garter stitch.

I posted this to her yesterday.

And  this is another adult size one that I shall try to sell.

Not sure if they look better all garter stitch or rib and garter stitch.

Here is a pic of Hollie when they had snow in the Midlands around Christmas time.

Flying off to Uk this morning as Johns Mum is not very well, not sure how long we will be there.

I have scheduled posts for afew days but will keep you informed.
