Life Is Fragile....

Somebody said this to me the other day.
"I'm just tired of nothing being simple.
It's discouraging."

Somebody said this to me too.
"She is really upset.
She's just had a really bad day."

This as well.
"Every time I overcome one obstacle, another
is waiting around the corner."

And... "It's always something!"

And then there's all that sadness in the news....everyday it seems.
Sometimes I feel so helpless...and I wish I could fix things.
But I can't.  So I pray.

"Here are my directions:
Pray much for others; plead for God's mercy upon them;
give thanks for all He is going to do for them."
1 Timothy 2:1 TLB

The Eyes Have It!

I've been having some problems with my eyes since having my cataract surgery. Yesterday, I visited the doctor and she prescribed drops. Looks like I have some inflammation in both eyes. There's also some dryness. Hopefully "the drops will calm things down"  She also said that the new lens on my left eye "has a bit of clouding", so I need to go back to my surgeon and have her evaluate that...it might require what's called  a YAG Laser procedure. Seems like it's always something these days!
At least my drops come in pretty colored bottles!!  : )

Sanctity of Human Life Sunday

Today, praise God for the miracle of life.
Today ~ a day set aside to recognize the sanctity of human life, from conception to natural death.
