Friday Night Fights--Freaky Friday Style!!
Oh, comics, you can always find a way to make our heroes fight.
In this week's Friday Night Fights, a case of mistaken identity turns very painful.
The Red Skull has used the Cosmic Cube to switch bodies with Captain America--because like every villain who gains absolute control of reality, he wastes the infinite power on parlor tricks!!
Well, Steve goes to the Avengers, hopeful that one of his fellow heroes can help him out of this dilemma.
Nope.
Wow...the Vision really is radder than you think
Spacebooger thinks that, given how often villains pull off body switches, the Avengers really should have a system of passwords or something.
Freaky Friday from Captain America #116 (1969), by Stan Lee, Gene Colan and Joe Sinnott
Now is the time for you to go and vote for my fight! Why? Well, maybe I'm really Stan Lee trapped in snell's body--yeah, that's the ticket!! And only by voting for me can you free me, oh fabulous ones! So go and vote, true believers!!

Steve convinces Sam that's it's time to become a costumed crime-fighter!
Oh, shirtless Steve, you could convince me of anything!! (Wait, that's the Red Skull's body...ewwww...but still, Steve wears it well!!).
Anyway, that's a perfect cue for...TRAINING MONTAGE:
Eye Of The Tiger time, baby!!
Soon enough, it's time to translate training into...
ACTION!!!!
WAHOO!!!!
You know the rest of the story...

This Is Your Comic Book On Drugs! Any Questions?!?
So, as we saw yesterday, the Red Skull and the Kingpin are having a little bit of a tiff over turf--specifically, who gets to control the drug trade.
Now, you might think the treason that these titans of evil are interested in the narcotics profession is just to make money. Hahahahaha...boy are you naive!
You see, there are very important philosophical reasons the Nazi and the gangster won't say no to drugs.
For example, the Skull says drugs will destroy America:
Whereas Wilson Fisk says that drugs will ultimately make America stronger!!
See, and you just thought it was all about greed and profit!!
So make sure you take time this weekend to roll up to your local pusher and ask him which reason he has for dealing--to make America weaker, or stronger? His answer might surprise you...
[By the way, there's still plenty of time for you to saunter over to Spacebooger's crib and vote for the titanic (and nearly-naked) Kingpin/Red Skull tussle in this week's Friday Night Fights!]

Friday Night Fights--Thunderdome Style!!
For this week's Friday Night Fights, we have some classic villain-on-villain action.
A new designer drug named "Ice" has taken New York by storm, and is eating in the Kingpin's turf and old-school drug trade.
Well, lo and behold, it turns out that the Red Skull is behind Ice!!
Observe (and click to embiggen) as two lords of evil (in Yankee Stadium!!) discuss the merits of selling drugs for fascism vs. selling drugs for capitalism:
Ah, but talk is cheap. Let's settle this the comic book way!
Oh, it is on. But first, the disrobing!
And this one is for the ladies:
Try and erase that image from your memory!!
THUNDERDOME!!!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
And that's why you don't fight the Kingpin one-on-one!!
Spacebooger really hopes this battle happens during a Captain America guest appearance in Season 2 of Daredevil!
Fat capitalism out-fights skinny Naziism in Captain America #378 (1990), by Mark Gruenwald, Ron Lim, and Danny Bulandi
Now is the time for you to go and vote for my fight. Why?!? Because admit it, it's fun to watch the Red Skull get his ass kicked, even if it's by another villain. So go and vote!!
