Manic Monday Triple Overtime--That Parker Luck!!
As Spider-Man has put the wraps on yet another dust-up with the Green Goblin, how does Peter Parker celebrate?
(Yes, that's Mary Jane. For about 10 minutes back then, she wore her hair like that...)
Well. I think we all know how this night ended up, right?
So next time you hear our hero whining about the "old Parker luck," just remember the night that Peter Parker got to ride the tricycle (Probably. We think.).
From Spider-Man Spectacular #2 (1968), as reprinted in Amazing Spider-Man Annual #9 (1973)

Manic Monday Bonus--The Most Important Benefit Of The Captain Universe Powers!
Yeah, I know he's dead, but we can still travel back in time (via the Quarter Bin) to ask the Watcher this very important question...
Well, Peter eventually goes home to share the news with his wife:
The most important benefit of the Captain Universe powers? Being super-sexy, apparently!!
Oh, Peter...

The Superior Mary Jane Watson
If you've ever wondered about the secret Golden Age origin of Mary Jane Watson, well, you've hit the jackpot, Tiger!
Hmmm...that must be a misprint--it says Betty-Jane Waston, not Mary Jane. Still she is a tigress, so it must be her!!
By the way, do you know what the worst type of criminal is?
Yup--the "prison-breaker"!
Anyhow, now let's look at Mary Jane Watson:
Blonde?!? Hmm, maybe I am wrong here. Maybe it's Mary Jane's mother? (Please don't comment--I know already)
Let's look at her history:
Yup, she's a tigress, all right. And how did she end up in prison?
That'll do it.
Well, true to the title of the story (and the comic book itself),Mary Jane Betty-Jane Watson breaks out of jail!
And the first thing she does when she gets out?
Sheesh, she's just a little too bloodthirsty, you know?
[SPOILER ALERT--she gets recaptured]
So forget about getting back together withPeter Otto--it looks like Mary Jane Betty-Jane is going to spend One (Very Long) Moment In Time--IN JAIL!!
