ShaMaMo

The debut of an all new band featuring GOD ,Dylan ,and The Katter. It is a multi-faceted experience ,with songs of varying lengths and textures. Classified as a dissonant/prog/space/punk/blues/noise band ,this shit really grabs you by the boo-boo ,and tears it the fuck off!! The shortest number is just over a minute ,while the longest clocks in at almost 27 and a half minutes! This is experimental progressive rock ,in the vein of The Godz , Chrome, early Pink Floyd, Hawkwind , The Dead C , maybe even a little of the ol' Cat Machine!
Just really great tripping stuff ,good for drinkin' to ,and just zoning out and listening. You will be transported to another dimension! I hope to do more of this band ,if the response is as good as I am expecting ,this band should be around for light-years to come! Front cover art by Eric ,customized by GOD ,back cover by GOD.

ONE FELL SWOOP - Cheryl Ladd

The boys kept on bangin' out tapes ,at a rate of about 2-3 a week ,in the beginning here! This starts off with a staple of OFS's live set , (Cat Machine did this one a few times too!) ,Pink Floyd's instrumental ,Interstellar Overdrive. There's only 5 tunes here ,one tops the 12 minute mark ,another just past 13 minutes.For some reason Interstellar Overdrive is the shortest of the songs ,at just over 5 minutes ,when we usually played this one for a good half-hour or so! Don't know how this recording got the title ,my memory isn't the best. Maybe Joel or Chipmonk may remember. Anyways ,check this out ,there's a few more coming this week!!Recorded October 3 ,1991

This tape was Ed,Joel,Tony,and special guest,Billy Drake.Awesome,as usual,the song,"Let Me Be Your Soybean Buddy",is where the name "Sluggisha",was derived from.There is also a swell cover of Pink Floyd's ,"The Nile Song",as well as Tony's hit number,"Yesterday's Bourbon On My Shoes".Joel surprisingly ,does lots of vocalizing on this one."Supernatural Hoax" ,is another one of those"everybody read aloud at the same time",type of numbers,we were famed for.There is also a discussion about flashbacks.!

This is a virtually unknown,unreleased band from the grunge days of the early 90's.Recorded in two days in may of '90,in a smelly house.They do these freaky instrumentals,as well as some singing.They also cover a strange cross section of bands:Stooges(2 times),Misfits,Pink Floyd,Link Wray,Sexboy,Sockeye,and,The Blood Red Oscars.This is an essential document of music from the transition into grunge music.They may even have coined the phrase,"grunge",as it relates to music,and their band was such named before the term was being used,at all.Probably the most important band of it's time,inspiring bands like the ones in the Seattle grunge scene.May even include members who later went on to fame in bands that made lots of money later,but here they use made-up names,and there is no info at all,anywhere about these guys.Almost like the Memphis Goons of the grunge scene. There may be a lost tape out there,as well.

kinda pickin' up where KIKE(same line-up) left off,and sounding even more drugged than usual at some points,also for some reason reminds me of a modern day pink floyd.fucking cool ass shit here folks,do not miss it.tony,vance,joel,and i think phil plays sax on a few numbers.at moments mellow,rockin',even a few black/death metal like tunes,where the vox go to cookie monster growl.for the most part though,just pleasantly euphoric,make you smile type of tuneage.i think this is everything they ever recorded,

ONE FELL SWOOP-not the best of, just a small cross-section

some really good tunes and other stuff from me,joel,and chipmunk.after cat machine folded,we just kept going in more of an indie direction,more poppy, which for us is like sonic youth meets pink floyd and howlin'wolf vs. lee ving.i don't know i hear a bluesy tone kinda sad and downtrodden sound that almost makes me cry.after all these years this stuff is magical enough to inspire feelings.probably i'd venture to guess,this is the only band in history with a 2-guitar(no bass)line-up with a drum set made of a deep dish pizza pan in a drum rim and an empty plastic typewriter case played with a wrench and a hammer,not live tho' we had a real drumset,boo, also not to say we didn't use other instruments, as keys samples ,etc. show up from time to time.check out this amazing band,so much more to hear.i will be putting up lots more including the show advertised above.we were the kings of the losers.all cover songs compilation will be up soon,it's fookin' fab! enjoy , G O D . click on HERE for link:http://www.mediafire.com/file/4gnhdimzzzd/ONE FELL SWOOP#1.zip
